Allt-a-Bhainne 1981 Signatory Vintage 13 Year Old

An independent bottling distilled 5th June 1981 and bottled February 1995.

Matured in cask #12047, this is bottle number 26 of 195. 

Auchentoshan 2008 Distillery Cask #36 / Oloroso​ Cask

Distilled on 23rd January 2008 and bottled on 15th January 2018 from cask number #36, a single Oloroso cask.

Hand filled straight from the cask at Auchentoshan distillery.

Aberlour A'Bunadh Batch #12

Aberlour A'Bunadh is bottled at cask strength in the tradition of 19th century single malts when villagers would come to the distillery to collect their dram straight from the cask, often in apothecary bottles obtained from the village chemist. These were the inspiration for the A'Bunadh bottle shape today.

A'Bunadh is bottled using only Spanish Oloroso sherry butts, this is batch #12 released in 2004.

Ardbeg Kildalton 2014

This Ardbeg was released in connection with the North Highland Initiative (NHI) a charity which helps rural communities across the Northern Highlands.

Elegantly packaged, it is a combination of first fill and refill ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. Please do not mistake this Kildalton for that which was released in 2004, 10 years previously.

Ardbeg Blasda

This tamed version of Ardbeg was peated to an average of 8ppm compared to the more usual 24ppm. Rather controversially, the Blasda was also bottled in clear glass, at 40% and has been chill filtered, un-like Ardbeg's other releases which are typically un-chillfiltered and bottled in the iconic green bottle at 46% or above.

Now discontinued and becoming increasingly difficult to find.

Arran 20 Year Old The Explorers Series Volume 1 / Brodick Bay

This is the first release in Arran Distillery's The Explorers Series, which replaces the now-discontinued Smugglers' Series which celebrated the island's illicit whisky history. This new range instead celebrates the island's natural charms. 

Their first expression is titled 'Brodick Bay', with the label depicting the picturesque bay on Arran's east coast. 

Matured initially in ex-bourbon barrels and ex-sherry hogsheads, Brodick Bay is then finished in ex-Oloroso sherry butts. 

Aberlour 16 Year Old Single Cask #4738 / TWE 

This Aberlour was matured in first-fill sherry cask #4738 and bottled exclusively for The Whisky Exchange.
