This bourbon however was distilled at Buffalo Trace by the Sazerac company, who purchased the brand from United Distillers in 1999. In her book But Always Fine Bourbon, Sally Van Winkle Campbell claims they did not have the exact Weller recipe until their partnership with her brother, Julian Van Winkle III was agreed in 2002. Undoubtedly a nod of approval from the family for the modern day product.

The original batch of Russel's Reserve was bottled in 1998 in celebration of Master Distiller, Jimmy Russell's 45th anniversary with the company.

This is a single barrel release of the popular Wild Turkey expression.

Barrel #373 was selected specially for Binny's Beverage Depot in Chicago.

This single barrel rye is hand bottled at Whistlepig farm.

Finished in Bourbon barrels and bottled specially for K&L Wines in California from barrel #15-59.

Wolfburn 'Twas The Night Before Christmas

Located in Thurso, this is the Northern most distillery on the UK manland. Based around a long lost distillery that ended around 1850, this new Wolfburn reopened in 2013. 

This is the 2017 'Twas The Night Before Christmas, bottled by Shane Fraser, the distillery manager.

Woodford Reserve Master's Collection / Brandy Cask Finish​

The Woodford Reserve brand is produced by the Brown-Forman company, typically using column still whiskey from their Shively distillery, and pot still whiskey from the historic Woodford Reserve distillery in Versailles (formerly Old Oscar Pepper, and Labrot & Graham), which they re-opened in 1993.

Released in 2016, this was one of the more recent releases in Woodford's Master's collection. This fully matured Woodford Reserve was finished for two years in used brandy barrels.

The label depicts the folks from Living Room Whisky taking part in an 1980s pastiche.

While the bottle makes no assertions as to its distillery of origin, we have it on very good authority that the liquid is indeed Laphroaig.

The Wild Turkey distillery was built in 1869 in Tyrone, Kentucky. The name wasn’t Wild Turkey until 1941 when some shared on a hunting trip was referred to as \"some of that wild turkey whiskey\".
