Made up of 5 unique casks from Strathclyde and Girvan, this is a well aged blended grain whisky.

One of 618 bottles produced, with only 120 of those having been available in retail.

Now closed, these Signatory Vintage bottlings are well worth paying attention to.

Distilled 24th of October 1972 and bottled November 1988, this is bottle number 412 of 1950.

This Caperdonich was distilled in November 1979 and bottled in October 2000 by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society. 

Craigellachie 1970 Murray McDavid 33 Year Old

Distilled in 1970 and matured for 33 years, this is a fantastically aged independent bottling by Jim McEwan of Bruichladdich fame and signed by him.

Aged in sherry casks before finishing in Roussanne casks.

Compass Box The Spaniard 75cl / US Exclusive

The Spaniard is a blended malt from 'whiskymakers' Compass Box. It is named after the bar of the same name in New York City, and the blend is a collaborative effort between the proprietor of said eponymous bar, Mikey McFerran, and Compass Box's John Glaser.

The blend contains mostly sherry matured whisky, from Spanish oak butts, in keeping with the theme. There are also Highland malts matured in French and American oak in the mix, and some Islay malt to add smokiness.

The blend was created in March 2018, and bottled in April the same year.

Classic Cask 1983 Single Batch 17 Year Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon

A 1983 distilled Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled in 2000. 

The Classic Cask label was bottled for a company called Spirit Imports by Kentucky Bourbon Distillers at their Willett distillery. KBD have barrels from all of the major Kentucky plants in their warehouses, however their most common source was neighbouring Heaven Hill.

A single cask 1981 vintage Caol Ila bottled by Whisky-Faessle of Germany, especially for Whiskystammtisch Goldener Rebstock Biberach... say that 10 times fast!

Bottled in 2012 from a single bourbon hogshead at 30 years old.

Caperdonich 1967 Douglas Laing 40 Year Old

A fantastic old vintage Caperdonich bottled by Douglas Laing within their 'Old Malt Cask' series of whiskies.

Distilled in February 1967 and bottled in October 2007 after being aged for 40 years.

Caol Ila 1983 Whisky Agency 26 Year Old / Perfect Dram

This Caol Ila was distilled in 1983 and bottled in 2009 by The Whisky Agency as part of their Perfect Dram range. 

Matured in refill sherry wood and limited to 240 bottles. 

Compass Box Double Single 10th Anniversary

In 2003, Tatsuya Minagawa and Duncan Elphick of the Highlander Inn worked with Compass Box for several months to find two single casks - one malt, one grain - that perfectly blended together. The first release of the 'double single' combined a 12 year old single malt from Clynelish with a 15 year old grain whisky from Cambus.  

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Compass Box in 2010, this second release combines 18 year old malt whisky from Glen Elgin with 21 year old grain whisky from Port Dundas.

Craigduff 1973 Signatory Vintage 32 Year Old Cask Strength

A very rare experimental whisky, produced at Strathisla distillery using heavily peated malt.  Occasionally there has been some controversy over the origin of Craigduff and some people have suggested it was actually produced at Glen Keith distillery, wherever it was produced it is extremely rare as only a handful of casks have ever been bottled independently by Signatory Vintage.

Distilled on the 4th April 1973 and bottled on 3rd November  2005, this 32 year old Craigduff was matured exclusively in a sherry butt, cask #2514.

Cabin Still 5 Year Old Bourbon 1.75 Litre 1970s

A copper distilled sour mash, bottled in Kentucky by the legendary Stitzel-Weller distillery.

Bottled in 1978, the brand at this point did not actually contain Stitzel-Weller whiskey. It had done previously, however new owners Somerset Imports had purchased Stitzel-Weller with the express intention of using the Cabin Still brand to sell ageing stock from their other warehouses.

Cabin Still is still available today, produced by Luxco, who had acquired it from Heaven Hill following their purchase of it from the closing Stitzel-Weller in 1992.

Clynelish 1997 Samaroli

Distilled in 1997 at Clynelish distillery in the Highlands of Scotland and bottled by Samaroli in 2016.

Bottle number 160 of only 320 bottles drawn from cask #12358.

Chartreuse Voiron Green Label 1960s

Originally created in 1605 by monks using a recipe for an elixir of long life. 

This Chartreuse was made in the Voiron production facility in France.

Soffiantino import for the Italian market.

Cascade Kentucky Straight Bourbon 1970s

Cascade bourbon was a brand produced for many years by Schenley , one of the \"big four\" distilling companies to emerge in the US after the repeal of Prohibition, alongside Hiram Walker, Seagram's and National Distillers.

Schenley acquired the Cascade Distilling Company from Geroge Dickel in 1937, who had been forced out of their historic home in Tennessee by its early adoption of Prohibition, and moved their distilling to Kentucky. Schenley did however revive the Tennessee distillery in 1958 after they lost out to Brown-Forman in a bid to buy Jack Daniel's.

This was distilled at the George T. Stagg distillery (known nowadays as Buffalo Trace), and was bottled in 1970 at Schenley's distillery in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.
