Booker's 10 Year Old Small Batch Bourbon / 25th Anniversary Edition

This bourbon is hard to find outside of the USA, which is surprising considering everyone loves it.

This is 10 years old and bottled at cask strength. The Booker's brand is a subsidiary of Jim Beam and was named after former master distiller, Booker Noe. His son Fred is now the current master distiller and is on record as having said, \"if you’re drinking Booker’s, you better have your pajamas on!” Jim Beam have two distilleries in Kentucky where they produce their bourbon, but Booker's is the only only brand produced exclusively at one of them; the Boston Road plant, now also known as the Booker Noe distillery.

It's said to be Beam's long-term ambition to elevate Booker's to one of its high end premium brands, limiting its release schedule, so this is as good a time as any to stock up.

This is the special commemorative release, bottled to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Booker's brand.

Bottle number 11.

An homage to one of America's greatest distilleries: Stitzel-Weller.

This well-aged bourbon is a blend of whiskies distilled at Buffalo Trace distillery (then George T. Stagg) and Bernheim (now Heaven Hill). The marriage was then aged and bottled at the legendary Stitzel-Weller distillery by its current owners, Diageo.

The distillery has been closed since 1992 but has continued to be used as a warehouse since then. Each bottle of Blade and Bow is complete with one of five numbered keys, which represent those that once hung on the distillery door.
