Wolfburn Poppyscotland 2018

Located in Thurso, this is the Northern most distillery on the UK mainland. Named for a long lost distillery that ended around 1850, this new Wolfburn opened in 2013. 

This bottle was produced  in collaboration with Carnegie Whisky Cellars to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of World War 1.

Originally only available at the distillery and at Carnegi Whisky Cellars in Dornoch.

Wolfburn Distillery Release / Summer 2018​

Located in Thurso, this is the Northernmost distillery on the UK mainland. Wolfburn distillery opened in 2013. 

This is a Summer 2018 bottling and was a distillery exclusive.

Just over 100 of these bottles were made available. 

Weller 12 Year Old

The new look for the formerly named \"W L Weller,\" the original wheated bourbon. The Weller brand was historically produced by the Van Winkle family at Stitzel-Weller distillery.

This bourbon however was distilled at Buffalo Trace by the Sazerac company, who purchased the brand from United Distillers in 1999. In her book But Always Fine Bourbon, Sally Van Winkle Campbell claims they did not have the exact Weller recipe until their partnership with her brother, Julian Van Winkle III was agreed in 2002. Undoubtedly a nod of approval from the family for the modern day product.

Wolfburn 2014 Private Bottling / Dornoch Castle

Located in Thurso, this is the Northern most distillery on the UK mainland. Based around a long lost distillery that ended around 1850, this new Wolfburn opened in 2013. 

This bottle was distilled in 2014 and bottled at 3 years old in February 2018 for Dornoch Castle. Cask #694 was selected by the Thomson Bros of Dornoch Castle Whisky bar.

Wolfburn Gessner / Alexander Weine & Destillate​ Exclusive

Located in Thurso, this is the Northern most distillery on the UK mainland. Based around a long lost distillery that ended around 1850, this new Wolfburn reopened in 2013. 

This is a private release for Swiss wine and whisky merchants, Alexander Weine & Destillate. The bottle celebrates 16th century Swiss physician and zoologist, Conrad Gessner, who's Wolf woodcut from 17th century publication 'History of Four-footed Beasts and Serpents' is the basis for the Wolfburn logo.

Wolfburn 'A Little Something Different' / La Maison du Whisky 60th Anniversary

Located in Thurso, this is the northernmost distillery on the UK mainland. Based around a long lost distillery that shut down around 1850, Wolfburn reopened in 2013. 

This release marks the 60th Anniversary of French whisky retailer La Maison du Whisky.

An ex-bourbon American Oak barrel and a European Oak octave were laid down and married together to create this limited bottling.

One of only 589 bottles.

William Cadenhead 20 Year Old Blend

This is the first batch of the 20 year old blend to be bottled by Cadenhead's.

A single cask of blended whisky has been vatted together with a single cask of Glenrothes single malt and Strathclyde grain.

One of only 480 bottles.

The \"Old No. 8 brand\" was briefly replaced the 8 year old Wild Turkey in the early 1990s, though this too was dropped by the turn of the millennium. 

Bottled at the lower than usual strength of 86.8 US Proof.

The Wild Turkey distillery, then known as Boulevard, was built in 1869 in Tyrone, Kentucky. The name Wild Turkey was not used however, until 1941 when some, shared on a hunting trip was referred to as, \"some of that wild turkey whiskey.\"

Located in Thurso, this is the northernmost distillery on the UK mainland. Based around a long lost distillery that ended around 1850, this new Wolfburn opened in 2013. 

This whisky was distilled in July 2014 and bottled at 3 years of age in September 2017 for Pot Still Austria. 

This peated whisky was matured in quarter cask #391.

Located in Thurso, this is the northernmost distillery on the UK mainland. Based around a long lost distillery that ended around 1850, this new Wolfburn reopened in 2013.

Bottled in September 2017 for Van Wees and the Pot Still Festival from single quarter cask #711.

A well-aged blend produced to celebrate the Queen's 80th Birthday.

Presented in a Wedgwood decanter. 

Weller Antique 107

Formerly known as Old Weller, the \"old\" has been dropped on the new packaging. This has been bottled at 107 proof and used to carry a 7 year age statement but this has now been removed.

Westport 2004 Malts of Scotland / AWWD Hannover

A 2004 vintage Westport. This is a 'teaspooned' malt, composed almost entirely of Glenmorangie with a tiny amount of Glen Moray added. This is done so that it can no longer technically be classed as a Glenmorangie, or indeed as a single malt. 

Bottle in 2012 by independent bottler Malts of Scotland for whisky club AWWD Hannover. 

Matured in a sherry butt, this is bottle number 216 of 238. 

Wolfburn Kylver Series Limited Edition 2nd Release

Located in Thurso, Wolfburn opened in 2013 and is the Northern most distillery on the UK mainland.

The Kylver series is named after an old burial stone discovered to have one of the earliest examples of the runic alphabet on it. Series 2 features the rune, \"aurochs,\" which referred to a now extinct type of cattle.

This edition of the Kylver was matured in a combination of bourbon and 2nd fill Oloroso sherry casks.

Vibrant Stills is one of their first single malt releases. Matured in cask numbers #446, #447 and #449 which were laid down in July 2013.

Released exclusively for the German market to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Alba Import.
