Octomore 2002 Futures

The original Futures release, distilled on the 16th October 2002 and bottled in April 2008.

This 5 year old October was matured exclusively in Buffalo Trace casks, peated to 80.5ppm.

One of 9600 bottles.

Ocean Black 1986 / Karuizawa 

Karuizawa produced outstanding whiskies, many of which have received international acclaim. They have released almost 300 single casks, which are becoming increasingly rarer and rarer as demand soars.

This is an older bottle of whisky produced by Sanraku Ocean Co. the parent company of Merican, who were owners of Karuizawa distillery. This enabled the company to use Karuizawa single malt in their 'Ocean' line of whiskies.

Old Forester 1951 Bottled in Bond Kentucky Bourbon Miniature

Old Forester is one of bourbon's historic brands. It was one of the first to ever be sold by the bottle in order to ensure quality control to capitalise on the medicinal whiskey trade in the 19th century. It was even named after local Louisville physician, Dr. William Forrester (they dropped the second 'R' fro the name when he retired). Produced by Brown-Forman at their distillery in Shively, Kentucky.

This is a very rare miniature of Bottled in Bond Old Forester, distilled in 1951 and bottle in 1958.

Ocean Status / Karuizawa

A very rare and wonderful old bottling of Japanese blended whisky, produced by Ocean, former owners of Karuizawa and likely to contain a high proportion of the legendary liquid.  

The stopper in this bottle is not secure and is susceptible to leakage. As such, this lot is offered for collection only from our office is Perth, Scotland.

Octomore 6.1 Scottish Barley

Octomore is the super-heavily peated expression from Bruichladdich distillery on Islay. This has a ridiculously high peating level of 167 ppm.

Aged for 5 years and made with barley grown exclusively in Scotland.

Old Forester Kentucky Straight Bourbon 1990s

Old Forester is one of bourbon's historic brands. Old Mull Fine Scotch Half Gallon 1970s

Named after the Island of Mull, this blend has been around since the 1870s. 

Produced by John Hopkins & Co this is a blend that contains a high amount of Oban.

Heaven Ocean Whisky 66cl / Karuizawa

A very rare and wonderful old bottling of Japanese whisky. Labelled as \"pleasant whisky,\" we're sure they're just being modest.

A blend produced by Ocean, former owners of Karuizawa and likely to contain a high proportion of the legendary liquid.  

A very interesting bottle from Japan and one containing whiskies we can rarely try or find on the market these days, a real piece of Japanese whisky history!

We can't say for sure but a lot of folks seem pretty sure that some/most/all of the liquid is Ladyburn.

Uitvlugt 1998 Whisky Agency 14 Year Old / Nectar

Distilled in 1998 in Guyana at Uitvlugt distillery.

This was bottled in 2012 from a single barrel by the Whisky Agency in collaboration with Nectar.

One of 253 bottles.

Orkney Single Malt 17 Year Old Thompson Brothers

You have a 50/50 chance of guessing which single malt this is but our money is on Highland Park

One of 350 bottles drawn from single cask #2 at 17 years old.

This is an independent bottling by the Thompson Bothers of Dornoch distillery.

Old Rarity 12 Year Old Decanter / Charles and Diana

A lovely old decanter of this blend produced by Bulloch Lade & Co, a popular old blend that is rarely seen at auction.

Specially produced to commemorate the wedding of Charles and Diana in 1981

Uitvlugt 1999 Transcontinental Rum Line 17 Year Old / LMDW

Part of the \"Transcontinental Rum Line\" series, this was distilled on the column stills of Uitvlugt distillery in Guyana in 1999. The distillery would close the following year, with many of its stock and many of its stills moved to Diamond.

This was transported to Europe instead, spending only 2 years in the tropics.

This is from a batch of two casks, bottled in 2016 by La Maison du Whisky.

Old Pulteney Pentland Skerries 1 Litre

Part of Old Pulteney's Lighthouse collection, released in the autumn of 2013.

Pentland Skerries is named two lighthouses, which are located on the archipelago between the mainland and Orkney. 

Matured exclusively in sherry casks.

A single cask blended malt from Old Perth.

Distilled in 1996 and bottled at 21 Years Old by Morrison & MacKay of Aberargie.

Old Pulteney 2001 SMWS 15 Year Old 52.21​

A single cask Old Pulteney, bottled by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society from cask 52.21.

Distilled 18th June 2001 and matured for 15 years in a first fill ex-red wine hogshead.

Distilled in a wooden Port Mourant still - which was moved to Uitvlugt after the closure of the original Port Mourant distillery -  1999

Bottled in August 2018 by Cadenhead's at 18 years old and cask strength.

Old Pulteney 2001 SMWS 13 Year Old 52.20

A single cask Old Pulteney, bottled by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society from cask 52.20.

Distilled 18th June 2001 and matured for 13 years in a refill bourbon barrel.

A single cask blended malt from Old Perth.

Distilled in 1996 and bottled at 22 years of age by Morrison & MacKay of Aberargie.

Old Fitzgerald Prime Bourbon 1 Litre

Currently distilled at Heaven Hill, this brand was once under the ownership of the legendary Pappy Van Winkle, who bought it for the princely sum of $10,000 from Old Judge distillery at the close of prohibition in 1933.

Heaven Hill procured the brand from United Distillers in 1999, who had been producing it until then using the remaining Stitzel-Weller stock.

This was distilled at Heaven Hill's Bernheim site.

The branding still has a key on its logo, harking back to its former Stitzel-Weller days.

Uitvlugt MPM 1999 Cadenhead's 18 Year Old

Distilled in a wooden Port Mourant still - which was moved to Uitvlugt after the closure of the original Port Mourant distillery -  1999

Bottled in August 2018 by Cadenhead's at 18 years old and cask strength.
