Port Charlotte 2003 Skene Reserve 14 Year Old

A handsome bottling of peated Bruichladdich by Skene Scotch Whisky. Distilled in July 2003 and matured in ex-Bordeaux cask number 17/642.

Bottled in November 2017, this is bottle number 11 of only 90 produced. 

Port Charlotte 2001 The Heretic: The Last of the First / Feis Ile 2018

This Port Charlotte is one of two launched for the annual Feis Ile festival in 2018, to coincide with the rebrand of the Port Charlotte Range. Port Charlotte is a heavily peated expression, produced at Bruichladdich as a recreation of a style of whisky created at an old 'lost' distillery in the nearby town of the same name.

This distillery exclusive was launched at their Feis Ile open day on 27th May 2018. This is a marriage of the last 5 casks filled during the first year of Bruichladdich's Port Charlotte production in 2001, hence the name 'The Last of the First.'. The casks in question had previously held American whiskey, rum, and fine French wine.

Bottle number 133 of 1300.

All five casks were selected by Bruichladdich's Master Distiller, Adam Hannett.

Dalmore Tweed Dram / 2011 Season​

The Dalmore \"Rivers Collection\" was originally released in 2011 and included four bottling named after four famous Scottish Salmon rivers: The Dee, The Spey, The Tweed and The Tay.

In recognition of conservation works done on the rivers, Dalmore made donations to the respective river Trusts/Foundations for every bottle sold.

The Tweed is the most prolific Salmon river in the British Isles, with its flow towards the east coast marking part of the geographical border between Scotland and England.

Delamain Napoleon Imperial Cognac 1960s

Delamain's Napoleon cognac, imported to the Italian market in 1960s by D&C, Bologna.

Delamain is one of the oldest Cognac's in France, and is notable to this day for its insistence on quality. The maison does not produce any VS or VSOP expressions, and prefers to dilute the strength of its product to 40% using lower strength cognac (Faibles) rather than water.

Dufftown 14 Year Old Manager's Dram 2014

The Manager’s Dram series of whiskies were bottled exclusively for employees of what is now known as Diageo.  These whiskies were selected by their respective distillery managers and bottled at natural cask strength.

This 14 year old Dufftown was bottled in November 2014.

Port Charlotte 2002 Private Cask 7 Year Old

A independent bottling of Port Charlotte, carrying the title 'Smith Reserve'.

Distilled 8th November 2002 and bottled 19th April 2010, matured in fresh sherry cask #1213. 

The single cask yielded 230 bottles.

Dalmore 1995 Vintage Distillery Manager's Exclusive

An exclusive bottling of Dalmore distilled in 1995 for 'The Whisky Shop', chosen by distillery manager Ian Mackay.

Matured using a combination of 65% Mathusalem sherry casks and 35% American ex-bourbon casks.

Dingle Irish Single Malt Small Batch No. 3 / Bourbon and Port Casks

The Dingle Whisky distillery started production in 2012.

This release is a marriage of single malt whisky matured in two cask types, ex-bourbon and ex-port.

Crafted to honour the act of saving Scotland’s king in 1263, this expression unites six specially selected casks housing spirit of perfect maturity. Whiskies matured in ex-bourbon casks, Matusalem oloroso sherry wood, Madeira barrels, Marsala casks, port pipes and Cabernet Sauvignon wine barriques are all brought together. 

Dictador Best of 1978 Limited Release

Dictador rum is named after Severo Arango y Ferro, nicknamed \"El Dictador,\" who oversaw trade between Spain and its colonies in the 18th century. The company was founded by one of his descendants.

Parker's Heritage Collection 8 Year Old Kentucky Straight Malt

The Parker's Heritage Collection from Heaven Hill is always highly anticipated.

This is an unusual release, a Kentucky Straight Malt whiskey, with a mash containing 85% malted barley. The casks for this were aged for 8 years in Heaven Hill's Bardstown warehouse on the 5th and 7th floors.

Dalmore 1996 Cromartie

Following the very popular Dalmore Clan Mackenzie release in 2010 and Dalmore Castle Leod in 2011, this is the third release in the Clan Mackenzie series.These whiskies were release to pay homage to the Clan Mackenzie and generate funds for the restoration of the Clan Mackenzie's ancestral home the Castle Leod.

Matured in American white oak before being transferred to Oloroso sherry casks, from Gonzalez Byass, distilled in 1996 and bottled in 2012.

Prestonfield De Luxe Scotch

Prestonfield House in Edinburgh has a strong conncetion to the whisky world, bottling some particularly collectible and sought after Bowmore and Springbank single casks.

This is a blended Scotch whisky, featuring an artist's impression of the hotel, with some famous Edinburgh landmarks in the background.

Diageo Classic Malts Brand Ambassador Tasting Set

This tasting kit would have been used by distillery managers and Diageo brand ambassadors in the early 1990s to talk to bartenders and consumers about the flavours of whisky, and how each of the Classic Malts represent a flavor region for whisky. Apparently there is one of these in the Diageo Archives.

Released in 2008, this 7 year old whisky was limited to 24,000 bottles.

Dewar's Coronation Miniature 1953 / Pre-War Whisky

A special miniature blended Scotch produced by John Dewar & Sons to commemorate the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II in 1953.

The label states that the contents are \"the rale last drappie and wee deoch an doruis o' pre-war Scots Usquebaugh.\" The last of the company's pre-war whisky stock. One for the road!

Diamond 2003 Single Cask 14 Year Old / Milan Rum Festival 2018

Single cask demerara rum distilled at Diamond distillery in Guyana.

Distilled in 2003 and bottled in November 2017 after the cask was selected by Andrea Giannone and Giuseppe Dolci for an exclusive Milan Rum Festival release.

Bottled at a cask strength of 55.8%.

Diamond 2004 Versailles Single Cask 14 Year Old / Milan Rum Festival 2019

This rum was distilled at Diamond distillery in 2004 using the Versailles single wooden pot still, and bottled to limited release in September 2018.

Selected by Andrea Giannone and Guiseppe Gervasio Dolci for the Milano Rum Festival.

Pillage Trilogy 2007 14 Year Old Blended Malt

This whisky was 'pillaged' from each of the operating Islay distilleries, as well as Jura and also Bushmills distillery in Northern Ireland in 2007. This is the last in the Trilogy series and was bottled on 20th March 2008. 

Organisers rowed between each of the distilleries to collect the whisky and donated all proceeds to charitable causes.
