Lochside 1981 Murray McDavid 18 Year Old

Lochside was founded in 1957, however single malt examples only date from the early to mid 1960's and from the early 1980's.

This single cask was distilled in May 1981 and bottled in February 2000 by Murray McDavid.

The 18 year maturation took place exclusively in a refill sherry cask ref: MM 9636.

Talisker 25 Year Old 2014 Release

Released within Diageo's super-premium annual releases, Talisker 25 year old has been bottled a number of times. This particular bottle is from the 2014 release.

Trinidad 1991 Silver Seal Rum

A 1991 vintage rum, bottled in Scotland by Silver Seal as part of their Wildlife series in 2011. Distilled by Trinidad Distillers Ltd at their Angostura distillery.

Silver Seal was founded by Ernesto Mainardi in 2000. This was Mainardi's second bottling company after the esteemed Sestane in 1979, and this later Silver Seal collection is named in its honour. Both companies were sold to Massimo Righi in 2010, and this is one of his early releases.

Teeling Silk Road Collection / Ningxia Wine Cask Finish

An Irish whiskey bottled by Teeling as part of their Silk Road Collection. This hasd been finished in Ningxia wine casks from the Kanaan winery in China.

Teeling was the first whiskey distillery to open in Dublin for 125 years when it was established in 2015. The distillery bottled its first whiskey in 2018, the liquid in this bottle however would have been produced at their old distillery, Cooley.

Laphroaig 18 Year Old Diamond Jubilee

This commemorative edition of Laphroaig 18 year old, was released in Summer 2012 in a specially designed tube celebrating the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.

There were only 3,000 of these limited edition tubes made.  

Jim Beam donated £3000 from the sales of these bottles to the Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust which helps young craftsmen.

This is a 13 year old Longrow was bottled to mark the opening of the Scotch Malt Whisky Society's restored Georgian townhouse premises on Edinburgh's Queen Street, which opened in 2004. 

Distilled March 1990 and bottled in February 2004 at 54.5%.

Longrow is the peated single malt from Springbank distillery, one of three produced there.

Teeling Chestnut Cask Finish / Distillery Exclusive

This is a small batch whiskey was finished in chestnut casks! Crazy.

This exclusive release was only available at Teeling distillery.

Teeling was the first whiskey distillery to open in Dublin for 125 years when it was established in 2015. The distillery bottled its first whiskey in 2018, the liquid in this bottle however would have been produced at their former distillery, Cooley.

Tamdhu Collector's Journey #01 / Dalbeallie Dram

A limited edition small batch Tamdhu. 

Aged exclusively in sherry oak, the Dalbeallie dram is named for the local train station at Dalbeallie, \"where casks would arrive from Spain and Tamdhu began its passage to the world\" prior to it's closure in the 1960s.

This is the first release of the Collectors Journey series.

Tullamore Dew 8 Year Old 1960s

Tullamore Dew is a popular Irish Whiskey, now owned by William Grant and Sons.

Bottled in the late 1960s by Irish Distillers, who were formed by the amalgamation of Cork Distillers, John Jameson & Son, and John Powers & Son in 1966. The latter had procured the Tullamore Dew brand from D.E. Williams in the early part of that decade, at which point the brand replaced the D.E Williams foundation date (1829) with the Powers establishment date (1791) on the bottle.

This timeline suggests that this may contain whiskey distilled at Power's old John's Lane distillery as well as some older stock from Old Tullamore.

The Old Tullamore Distillery (also known as Daly's) was owned by D.E. Williams closed in 1954, eventually entering an agreement with Powers who would provide whiskey for their brand, Irish Mist. The Tullamore Dew brand was eventually fully acquired by Power's, with D.E. Williams choosing to focus on the liqueur business.
