Essence of Suntory Selection 3 x 50cl / Yamazaki, Hakushu, and Chita

• Yamazaki 2005 Peated Malt 50cl / The Essence of Suntory, this is a peated malt produced at their flagship Yamazaki distillery. Distilled in 2005 and bottled at a higher strength of 49%.

• Hakushu 2012 Rye Type 50cl / The Essence of Suntory, a rye based whisky from Hakushu. Distilled in 2012 and bottled at a higher strength of 57%.

• Chita 2001 Wine Cask 50cl / The Essence of Suntory, a single grain whisky, distilled in 2001 and matured in a Wine Cask for 4 years before being bottled in 2018. Bottled at 49%.

Eagle Rare is a historic bourbon brand and is one of the five bourbons included in the award-winning Buffalo Trace Antique Collection.

Buffalo Trace's parent company, Sazerac, purchased the Eagle Rare brand from Seagram in 1989, who had developed it in the 1970s to replicate what it felt where the successful motifs used by the Wild Turkey brand.

Production of the label was moved to Buffalo Trace when Sazerac acquired the facility in 1992 (then known as Ancient Age).

Although only new, Eden Mill is a distillery steeped in distilling history. Situated on the banks of the Eden Estuary, just outside the beautiful town of St. Andrews, the distillery occupies a site formerly owned and operated by the Haig family for most of the 19th century. Haig's moved their business to the familiar Markinch address in 1882, converting the buildings into a brewery and paper mill instead. The brewery closed just 20 years later and the paper mill operated until 2008. Then, Eden Mill was born.

In 2012, Eden Mill became St Andrews first brewery since 1902, and Scotland's first ever combined brewing and distillery complex in 2014 when the plan was hatched and set into motion, to produce their first malt whisky. 

The first whisky produced in St. Andrews for over 150 years, this elegantly packaged dram has been matured in a combination of French virgin oak, US virgin oak, and Pedro Ximenez casks.

Emerald Isle 1989 Speciality Drinks 26 Year Old Irish Single Malt

An Irish single malt whiskey from an undisclosed distillery 

Distilled in 1989 and matured for 26 years in cask #16244 before being bottled by Speciality Drinks.

Nikka 2003 Coffey Malt Single Cask #130541

Distilled 6th March 2003 and bottled on 11th July 2014, this is Malt whisky that has been produced in a Coffey still and then matured in a single re-charred hogshead. 

North Port 1980 SMWS 16 Year Old 74.3

Distilled in May 1980 and bottled in October 1996, this is from the closed distillery North Port also known as Brechin. 

North of Ireland 1989 ACLA Selection 27 Year Old

Distilled in 1988 and matured for 27 years in a 'barrel' before being bottled in 2015.

The label states \"Distilled in the North of Ireland.\" it is unclear whether this suggests Bushmills (Northern Ireland), or Cooley (northernmost Republic of Ireland).

One of only 201 bottles.

Enmore 1987 Full Proof Demerara Rum / Velier Import

A pot still rum from Enmore, distilled in 1987 and bottled from special casks #193-197.

Bottled by Dutch company Breitenstein Produkten BV for Italian importers, Velier in November 2000.

One of 419 bottles.

Elmer T. Lee Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Bourbon / Memorial Bottling

This whisky is named after the legendary Elmer T. Lee (1919-2013), who was hired in 1949 by Col. Albert B. Blanton to work at Buffalo Trace (named George T. Stagg distillery at the time).  

Starting from the bottom he worked his way up to Master Distiller before retiring in 1985. He passed away in 2013 aged 93. This bottle was released in 2014 to memorialise him. At the time of his death, Lee was one of only two living Master Distillers to have a bourbon named after them.

North British 1962 Douglas Laing 50 Year Old / Director's Cut

A single cask single grain bottling from Douglas Laing, part of their premium Director's Cut series. This range was replaced by the Xtra Old Particular (XOP) in which was launched in 2014. 

Distilled in 1962 in Edinburgh at the North British distillery, this was bottled at 50 years old from refill butt #DL8228.

One of just 222 bottles.

Nikka Taketsuru 21 Year Old Pure Malt 75cl / US Import

Released by Nikka, this range of blended malts is named after their founder and a key player in the birth of Japanese whisky, Masataka Taketsuru.

Taketsuru 21 year old is highly acclaimed and has received many awards.

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

This North Port was distilled in 1979 and bottled 20 years later in October 1999.

This North British grain whisky was distilled in March 1962 and matured in bourbon hogshead #13017. 

Bottled over 50 years later by independent bottler Malts of Scotland in March 2013, this is bottle number 41 of 85.

North British 1962 Whisky Agency 48 Year Old / Perfect Dram

This single grain release was bottled from a single bourbon hogshead for The Whisky Agency under The Perfect Dram brand, one of their many labels.

Distilled in 1962 in Edinburgh at the North British distillery, this was bottled at 48 years old in 2010.

Enmore 1988 Silver Seal 19 Year Old Demerara Rum

A Pot still rum from Enmore, distilled in 1988 and bottled at 19 years old by Silver Seal in 2007.

The Enmore distillery closed in 1993, with its stills moved first to Uitvlugt and then to Diamond in 2000.

Silver Seal was founded by Ernesto Mainardi in 2000. This was Mainardi's second bottling company after the esteemed Sestane in 1979, and this later Silver Seal collection is named in its honour. Both companies were sold to Massimo Righi in 2010, with Ernesto's original releases becoming increasingly prized possessions by collectors.

North of Ireland 1991 Whisky Agency 24 Year Old / Komplex Whisky

Distilled in 1991 and matured for 24 yearsbefore being bottled in 2015.

One of only 157 bottles produced for Komplex Whisky, Sweden.

Nikka Gold and Gold Samurai
