Cragganmore 1987 SMWS 30 Year Old 37.104

A 30 year old Cragganmore bottled by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society with the title \"Admiring Art From An Old Leather Armchair.\"

Distilled on the 26th of May 1987 and matured initially in an ex-bourbon hogshead before finishing in a first fill Pedro Ximinez sherry hogshead.

One of only 166 bottles.

A 1997 vintage Caroni, selected and bottled at 18 years old by the Thompson Brothers of Dornoch Distillery.

Caroni has become a highly collectible rum since the distillery's closure in 2002.

One of only 90 bottles.

Caroni 1994 Guyana Stock 23 Year Old 100 Proof Heavy Trinidad Rum

This is a \"double matured\" rum from the lost Trindadian distillery.

Distilled in 1994 and aged in its native Trinidad until 2008. The barrels were then transferred to DDL's Diamond distillery in Guyana where they were selected by Velier's Luca Gargano in 2017.

This is Velier's 36th Caroni release.

Caroni 1997 Silver Seal Heavy Rum

A Silver Seal bottling of Caroni, distilled in 1997 and bottled in 2011.

Part of the ' Wildlife' Series No.2.

Silver Seal was founded by Ernesto Mainardi in 2000. This was Mainardi's second bottling company after the esteemed Sestane in 1979, and this later Silver Seal collection is named in its honour. Both companies were sold to Massimo Righi in 2010, and this is one of his early releases.

Caol Ila 1979 Coopers Choice 30 Year Old

A very nicely aged single cask bottling of Caol Ila.

This was released in 2010 by the Vintage Malt Whisky Company under The Coopers Choice brand. It was distilled in 1979 and is one of 300 bottles drawn from hogshead #10450.

Rosebank 1990 Douglas of Drumlanrig 19 Year Old

Distilled in February 1990 and bottled in March 2009 after 19 years maturing in a refill butt, this is a Rosebank bottled by Douglas of Drumlanrig.

Charged from cask #5083, this is one of 486 bottles.

Colonel E.H Taylor Barrel Proof / 2018 Release

Hailing from Buffalo Trace, Colonel E.H. Taylor was created by the Sazerac company in 2009 after they purchased the Old Taylor brand from Jim Beam.

The brand applies methods and mashbills comparable to those introduced by Colonel E. H. Taylor. Edmund Haynes Taylor is generally considered to be the father of modern bourbon, recognising the the importance of strong brands and building numerous important distilleries, including Old Fashioned Copper (OFC, better known today as Buffalo Trace).

Taylor's \"Colonel\" title is not a military prefix, but actually refers to the honourary title, Kentucky Colonel. He shares this with many famous sons of Kentucky, but perhaps none more so than a certain Fried Chicken vendor...

The 2018 barrel proof release is bottled at a hefty 129.7 US proof.

This is a 1984 release from Gordon and MacPhail bottled in 1998.

Distilled on the 10th of April 1976 and bottled from cask #900015 on the 29th of March 2011 within the Dead Whisky Society range of whiskies.

The whisky was selected from the private stocks of independent bottler Silvano Samaroli by his wife, Maryse Accorsi, after Silvano's death in 2017.

A Douglas Laing bottling of Clynelish, distilled in October 1995 and bottled in September 2017 as part of their XOP range. 

Matured in a refill hogshead #DL12014, this is bottle number 23 of 265 bottles.

Caroni 1998 110 Proof 17 Year Old Rum​

Distilled at the long lost Caroni distillery in 1998, and aged in Trinidad for 15 years before bottling in Scotland for LMDW at a final 17 years old.

The label is a reproduction of an original 1940 Caroni design.

Royal Lochnagar 1981 Roseisle Maltings 25 Year Old

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Roseisle maltings, in 2008 Diageo bottled a 25 year old Royal Lochnagar, distilled in 1981 from the very first batch of barley produced at the facility.

Part of the Distillery Reserve Collection, this is a single cask Caperdonich and was available only at Chivas Brothers distilleries. This is a peated expression from the closed distillery.

Distilled on 7th October 1996 and bottled from a second fill barrel on the 6th August 2018.

Drawn from cask #7375, this is bottle 31 of 324. 

Caol Ila 1995 Whisky Agency 19 Year Old / The Drunken Master - One of 48 Bottles

An independent single cask bottling from Islay distillery, Caol Ila.

Bottled in 2014 for Germany's The Whisky Agency in collaboration with The Drunken Master in Taiwan to celebrate the 19th anniversary of The Bow Bar.

One of only 48 bottles drawn from bourbon hogshead #9807 (elsewhere on the label the bottle count is also stated to be 52, it is unclear which is correct).
