Essence of Suntory Selection 3 x 50cl / Yamazaki, Hakushu, and Chita

• Yamazaki 2005 Peated Malt 50cl / The Essence of Suntory, this is a peated malt produced at their flagship Yamazaki distillery. Distilled in 2005 and bottled at a higher strength of 49%.

• Hakushu 2012 Rye Type 50cl / The Essence of Suntory, a rye based whisky from Hakushu. Distilled in 2012 and bottled at a higher strength of 57%.

• Chita 2001 Wine Cask 50cl / The Essence of Suntory, a single grain whisky, distilled in 2001 and matured in a Wine Cask for 4 years before being bottled in 2018. Bottled at 49%.

Eagle Rare 17 Year Old / Summer 2017

Eagle Rare is a historic bourbon brand and is one of the five bourbons included in the award-winning Buffalo Trace Antique Collection.

Buffalo Trace's parent company, Sazerac, purchased the Eagle Rare brand from Seagram in 1989, who had developed it in the 1970s to replicate what it felt where the successful motifs used by the Wild Turkey brand.

Production of the label was moved to Buffalo Trace when Sazerac acquired the facility in 1992 (then known as Ancient Age).

Although only new, Eden Mill is a distillery steeped in distilling history. Situated on the banks of the Eden Estuary, just outside the beautiful town of St. Andrews, the distillery occupies a site formerly owned and operated by the Haig family for most of the 19th century. Haig's moved their business to the familiar Markinch address in 1882, converting the buildings into a brewery and paper mill instead. The brewery closed just 20 years later and the paper mill operated until 2008. Then, Eden Mill was born.

In 2012, Eden Mill became St Andrews first brewery since 1902, and Scotland's first ever combined brewing and distillery complex in 2014 when the plan was hatched and set into motion, to produce their first malt whisky. 

The first whisky produced in St. Andrews for over 150 years, this elegantly packaged dram has been matured in a combination of French virgin oak, US virgin oak, and Pedro Ximenez casks.

An Irish single malt whiskey from an undisclosed distillery 

Distilled in 1989 and matured for 26 years in cask #16244 before being bottled by Speciality Drinks.

Enmore 1987 Full Proof Demerara Rum / Velier Import

A pot still rum from Enmore, distilled in 1987 and bottled from special casks #193-197.

Bottled by Dutch company Breitenstein Produkten BV for Italian importers, Velier in November 2000.

Elmer T. Lee Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Bourbon / Memorial Bottling

This whisky is named after the legendary Elmer T. Lee (1919-2013), who was hired in 1949 by Col. Albert B. Blanton to work at Buffalo Trace (named George T. Stagg distillery at the time).  

Starting from the bottom he worked his way up to Master Distiller before retiring in 1985. He passed away in 2013 aged 93. This bottle was released in 2014 to memorialise him. At the time of his death, Lee was one of only two living Master Distillers to have a bourbon named after them.

Edradour 1983 Single Cask 26 Year Old / Port Finish

A single cask Edradour, distilled on the 23rd March 1983 and bottled 24th April 2009 after a finishing period in a port cask of over 6 years.

Edradour 1993 Signatory Vintage 19 Year Old / Sauternes Cask Finish

Distilled in 1993 and initially filled into plain hogsheads for 14 years before being finished in a fresh Sauternes cask for a further 51 months.

Bottle number 253 of only 303 produced.

Enmore 1988 Silver Seal 19 Year Old Demerara Rum

A Pot still rum from Enmore, distilled in 1988 and bottled at 19 years old by Silver Seal in 2007.

The Enmore distillery closed in 1993, with its stills moved first to Uitvlugt and then to Diamond in 2000.

Silver Seal was founded by Ernesto Mainardi in 2000. This was Mainardi's second bottling company after the esteemed Sestane in 1979, and this later Silver Seal collection is named in its honour. Both companies were sold to Massimo Righi in 2010, with Ernesto's original releases becoming increasingly prized possessions by collectors.

Enmore 1992 Silver Seal 15 Year Old Demerara Rum

Distilled at Enmore distillery, Guyana in 1992, just a year before it closed.

This was bottled 2007 at 15 years old by Silver Seal.

Silver Seal was founded by Ernesto Mainardi in 2000. This was Mainardi's second bottling company after the esteemed Sestane in 1979, and this later Silver Seal collection is named in its honour. Both companies were sold to Massimo Righi in 2010, with Ernesto's original releases becoming increasingly prized possessions by collectors.

The 12 year old Elijah Craig. This is a 1992 bottling so will have been distilled at the old Heaven Hill distillery in Bardstown before it burned down 4 years later.

This particular bottling was produced prior to the Heaven Hill distillery fire in 1996, which forced them to relocate to their current home at Bernheim.

Elijah Craig is one of the flagship brands produced by Heaven Hill, named after an 18th century pastor, often cited (although probably incorrectly) as the first man to distil bourbon in the US.

This is the generally thrice annual cask strength 12 year old, released in September 2014.

Early Times Kentucky Straight 'Bourbon' 1960s / Soffiantino Import

A late 1960s bottle of Kentucky straight \"bourbon\" for the Italian market. Due to the use of refill barrels in the production process of the Early Times brand, it is not permitted to label itself as a bourbon in the US. These rules however do not apply in foreign markets.

Distilled and bottled by the Brown-Forman company at their distillery in Louisville, Kentucky.

Edradour 1995 Cask Strength Decanter

This 1995 vintage Edradour, officially bottled by distillery owners, Signatory Vintage in the elegant glass bottles used for their Decanter Collection.

Distilled on 11th December 1995 and bottled on 24th April 2009 from cask number 467.
