Matured in native Japanese 'Mizunara' oak casks, as well as American and European. This whisky was named World's Best Single Malt Whisky at the 2011 World Whisky Awards.

A single cask #9001 Hanyu bottled within the Ichiro's Malt series of whiskies.

Distilled in 1991 and matured in a hogshead before being moved into a American oak sherry butt for a second maturation period prior to being bottled in 2006.

Hanyu 2000 Ichiro's Malt 'Card' #9523 / Ace of Clubs​

Part of the legendary card series produced by Ichiro Akuto.  

Distilled at the lost Japanese distillery of Hanyu in 2000 and bottled in 2012 from cask #9523.

This ace Hanyu was initially matured in a traditional hogshead before a second maturation in a Mizunara puncheon.

Hanyu 1988 Full Proof 'Caber Tossing' Single Cask #9204

Single cask Hanyu with an interesting tale to tell. This is bottle number 49 of 204, however this cask was bottled in two halfs. So the total bottle number was 408, there is no batch number so the only way to tell the difference between the first and second batch, is the misspelling of \"Puncheon\" on the label. 

So this is from the first batch.

Highland Park 1968 Dragon

The Dragon independent bottlings of Highland Park are legendary, this vintage is from 1968.

The Dragon bottlings were produced by Robertson's of Kirkwall throughout the 1980s and 1990s.

A legendary highland park, distilled in 1961 and bottled in 1997, this is a 36 year old Highland Park that was matured in single Oloroso sherry cask number 4493. 

The Dragon from which this whisky takes its name comes from the 12th century carving in Maes Howe neolithic tomb, Orkney.

Hanyu 2000 ‘The Game’ Cask #9805 Rum Finish

This is a bottle from a Japanese food and spirits importer called Shinanoya exclusively for the Japanese market.

This is the forth release in their acclaimed The Game series which contains Hanyu from the final year that the distillery was producing.

This was finished in a rum cask.
