Marqués De Arienzo 1987 Rioja Crianza

Marqués De Arienzo is a Rioja Crianza from the stable of the major Spanish wine group, Marqués De Riscal.

The wine is a blend of Tempranillo (90%), Graciano (5%) and Mazuelo (5%), aged for 18 months in American oak barrels.

Raimat Clamor Tinto 1989

An interesting wine although with very little of the label left to recognise it.

The commune of Raimat in the Catalonian DO (Denominación de Origen) of Costers del Segre, is in fact one single vineyard, all 3,200 hectares - owned by Manuel Raventós - making it the largest parcel of vines of single person ownership in Europe.  This wine from Bodegas Raimat's \"Clamor\" range is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Tempranillo (known locally as Ull De Llebre), with a brief resting period in oak barrels.

Obviously, please note the extremely poor condition of the label - I could be making everything up...
