Ichiro`s Malt Gasai Cask Strength Blend / Hanyu and Chichibu

A cask strength vatting of the closed Japanese distillery of Hanyu with that of the relatively young distillery of Chichibu, where this whisky was matured, married and bottled.

Bottled exclusively for the Isetan Mitsukoshi group of Japanese department stores.

Dalmore 1976 Cadenhead's 37 Year Old

A stunning example of well aged Dalmore from Cadenhead's at what will no doubt will be a bargain compared to the official counter parts at this age.

Distilled in 1976 and bottled in March 2014 and matured in a rum cask.

This rare blend was released to commemorate the 150th Anniversary of diplomatic relations between Scotland and Japan. 

Contains malt whisky from both Scottish and Japanese distilleries and blended by Ichiro Akuto.

Dallas Dhu 1982 Historic Scotland Cask Strength 24 Year Old 

Distilled in 1982 not long before the distilleries closure then bottled in 2007 by Historic Scotland, the Government body that runs the former distillery as a museum.

Word on the street is that they are making moves to start the distillery back up and running. 

Cask number 3739 and bottle number 425.

This very limited single cask bottling was only available at Dalmore distillery. The spirit was created by Richard Paterson to showcase the exceptional ex-bourbon casks used for maturing Dalmore whiskies.  

This expression was created by moving the spirit through three different bourbon casks each one hand selected by Richard.

Bas Armagnac, has over the years produced some of the regions finest brandy.

Located on the western side of the region, it's distinctve soil contributes to the overall taste and smell of the brandy.

This was bottled for the Italian market by Sestante. 

Invergordon 1972 Whisky Broker 43 Year Old

A Single Cask independant bottling of Invergordon Grain Whisky distilled in 1972 by the guys who are starting the new Dornoch Distillery.

A very limited bottling of which only 218 bottles were released; 118 of these were sent to Japan the remaining 100 bottles were sold exclusively at the Dornoch Castle Hotel, of which we are told around 20 were consumed in the bar!

Dallas Dhu 1970 Rare Malt 24 Year Old

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

This Dallas Dhu was distilled in 1970 and bottled in one of the earlier Rare Malt releases (1994/1995).

Dallas Dhu Historic Scotland 23 Year Old Jubillee​

Bottled by Historic Scotland to commemorate the Golden Jubiee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in 2002.

This was part of the Dumbarton distillery complex where malt production ceased in 1991.

Islay Mist 8 Year Old 1980s

Islay Mist was originally created on Islay in 1922 to celebrate the 21st birthday of Lord Margadale. The theory was that the intensity of the Islay malts might be too much for all the guests to handle, so some Speyside whisky and a grain whisky were blended with some Islay malts to create Islay Mist.

Islay Mist has always been incredibly popular, we are excited to offer a great example of this blend.

Dailuaine 1997 Managers' Choice 

The Managers' Choice releases were quite controversial when initially released, fairly young whiskies with quite high price tags. With the changes in the industry and age statements becoming less and less common perhaps these can be considered quite reasonable now.

Distilled in 1997 and bottled in 2009 from single cask #8476 this is bottle number 265.

Dallas Dhu 1981 Duncan Taylor 26 Year Old

Distilled in April 1981 and bottled on December 2007 as a 26 year old by Duncan Taylor.

Cask number #421 yielded 249 bottles, this is number 170.

Dailuaine 1973 Rare Malt 22 Year Old 75cl / US Import
