Camus Napoleon Bicentenary Cognac Decanter 1969 / Silver Coated

Camus is a well established Cognac brand that carries history back to 1863 when Jean-Baptiste Camus founded a group of Cognac producers under the banner 'La Grande Marque'.  

This particular decanter of Camus, in the shape of a book, was produced to celebrate the 200th birthday of Napoleon (1769-1969). 

There are no visible measurements, however similar examples are 40% ABV and 70cl.

Caroni 1997 Milano Rum Festival 19 Year Old 50cl / Bar Metro 50th Anniversary

An independent bottling of Caroni, distilled in 1997 and bottled 19 years later.

This was bottled from cask #62 which produced 390 bottles.

Specially bottled to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Bar Metro. Bar Metro was founded in 1966 by Giorgio d'Ambrosio, and is a world famous whisky bar in Milan that have bottled numerous private casks of whisky. They continued that great tradition on their 50th birthday with this rum from the sought-after lost Trinidad distillery.

Croizet was founded in 1805 by Leon Croizet.  Fine-Champagne Cognacs are distilled from grapes sourced only from the prestigious Grande-Champagne and Petite-Champagne sub-regions.

J.W. Rutledge Cream of Kentucky 11.5 Year Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon

A refreshingly honest bottle of bourbon. Cream of Kentucky is a historic bourbon brand, first introduced in the late 19th century, but best known for its post-Prohibition iteration, when it was distilled and bottled by the Schenley company, first at James E. Pepper and later George T. Stagg distillery. Cream of Kentucky was a popular bourbon brand, but there was also a mysterious rye produced but never bottled. This was left to age significantly and eventually bottled by Kentucky Bourbon Distillers, Julian Van Winkle III, and early editions of the Sazerac 18 year old. 

Schenley were wound up in 1987, with their assets procured by what is now Diageo. The Cream of Kentucky brand has since been acquired by Jim Rutledge, the former Four Roses master distiller. There is no information on the source of the bourbon used to bottle this, but the safe money would be his former employers.

The J.W. Rutledge distillery will open in 2019.

Caol Ila 1995 Whisky Agency 17 Year Old / One of 50 Bottles

This Caol Ila was matured in a bourbon hogshead before being bottled by the Whisky Agency in 2013. 

One of 50 bottles filled as part of the \"Bluepring\" labels series, selected with the assistance of the Auld Alliance bar in Singapore.
