Old Crow 4 Year Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon 1 Litre 1990s

Old Crow is was one of Kentucky's earliest bourbon brands, created in the 1830's by Scottish immigrant, James C. Crow, Master Distiller at the Old Oscar Pepper distillery. He pioneered the use of scientific methods to ensure continuity in the quality of his whiskey. The brand was purchased by W.A. Gaines who opened the Old Crow distillery. Both were then procured by National Distillers during prohibition, who produced the brand until 1987 when they were purchased by Jim Beam who shut the distillery and moved production to their Clermont facility.

This is the Beam era version.

Friar John Cor Quincentenary 1 Litre

A bottling released in 1994 to commemorate the 500th anniversary of the oldest recorded reference to Scotch Whisky, an authorisation from the King for Friar John Cor to make Spirit on the 1st of June 1495.

Fettercairn 1990 Liquid Sun 23 Year Old

A 1990 vintage from Fettercairn, bottled in 2013 from a refill hogshead cask.

The Whisky Agency was founded in Germany by Carsten Ehrlich, who is also the driving force behind The Whisky Fair in Limburg, one of the world's most renowned annual whisky gatherings. Their passion is unquestionable, and they have a regular release schedule of high quality single casks, often in collaboration with some of the most respected whisky bars and retailers. The Whisky Agency's labels include The Perfect Dram, Liquid Library, Private Stock, and Liquid Sun.

Liquid Sun is a subsidiary brand of The Whisky Agency, introduced to allow them to bottle a wider range of casks without overloading their catalogue. Initially bottled for the Scandinavian and Asian markets, but were later introduced to a wider audience.
 

Old Pulteney 17 Year Old

One of our favourites, Old Pulteney 17 year old has been highly acclaimed receiving an impressive 96.5 points in the Whisky Bible.  

This was in the same year that their 21 year old received Best Whisky in the World - we personally think the 17 year old is better, but don't tell Jim.

Now discontinued and a popular drinker so we expect stocks to dry up fast. Grab it whilst you can!

This Old Pulteney was matured in a refill hogshead before being bottled for The Whisky Agency and Three Rivers Tokyo in 2014.

One of 183 bottles.

Old Grand-Dad Kentucky Straight Bourbon 1990s / Japanese Import

Featuring the image of Basil Hayden, Old Grand-dad is a classic of the bourbon world. 

Distilled and bottled by Jim Beam at their distillery around 1993.

Jim Beam purchased the brand in 1987, and although they have moved production to their Clermont based distillery, the Old Grand-dad site still exists as a warehouse and bottling plant.

Orkney 9 Year Old Chorlton Whisky

A single cask from one of the two distilleries on the Isle of Orkney.

This malt has been aged for 9 years in a single bourbon cask and has been bottled by Chorlton Whisky at a cask strength of 63.1%

One of only 191 bottles.

Old Lewis Hunter 6 Year Old Bourbon 1970s

This is an old pre-prohibition brand of bourbon, bottled in the 1970's by then-owners, Seagram's, at their distillery in Louisville, Kentucky.

Imported to the Italian market.

Four Roses 6 Year Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon 1980s / Rene Briand Import

A 1980s bottling of 6 year old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey from the Four Roses distillery in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky.

At this time the brand was produced by Seagram who, preferring to promote their Seven Crown as the whiskey brand of choice in the US, limited Four Roses as a straight bourbon to the export market. US customers had to make do with a blended \"light\" whisky variant until the brand was acquired by Kirin in 2002, who re-introduced the straight bourbon to its native market.

Orkney Single Malt 2007 North Star 11 Year Old / The Whisky Barrel

Part of the sixth North Star Cask Series, this was distilled in 2007 at an undisclosed Orkney distillery, so Scapa or Highland Park. 

Finished in an ex-Pedro Ximenez hogshead and bottled in September 2018.

One of 312 bottles.

Frapin Cigar Blend Grande Champagne Cognac

A single estate Cognac produced by Frapin at Chateau de Fontpinot.

Fernet-Branca Digestif 1 Litre 1960s

With a secret formula, passed down through the Branca family this digestive bitter liqueur contains 27 herbs from four continents. Including aloe from South Africa, rhubarb from China, gentian from France, galingale from India or Sri Lanka, chamomile from Italy or Argentina.

On top of that there are flowers, herbs, roots and plants used for alcoholic brews, extracts and teas that, blended in a special mixture. Fernet-Branca is then aged for at least one year in oak barrels.
