Scapa 16 Year Old

Scapa released this 16 year old expression in 2008 to replace the popular 14 year old. Both have now been discontinued. 

Seagram's Crown Royal 1967 Canadian Whisky / with Display

North America's best selling Canadian Whisky, difficult to get hold of on this side of the pond.

The tax stamp dates the youngest vintage in the blend to 1967. 

Distilled by Joseph E. Seagram at their former distillery in Waterloo, Ontario. Production was moved to a new Crown Royal distillery in Gimli, Manitoba in 1968, and nowadays it is still produced there by Diageo who bought the brand and distillery after Seagram's were dissolved in 2000. The Waterloo distillery closed in 1984.

Lot includes a crown shaped display stand.

Versailles 2004 Single Cask 14 Year Old / Milan Rum Festival

Single cask rum distilled at Diamond in Guyana on the famous Versailles single wooden pot still, and bottled at 14 years old.

Distilled in July 2004 and bottled in September 2018 after the cask was selected by Andrea Giannone and Giuseppe Dolci for an exclusive Milan Rum Festival release.

One of 272 bottled at Navy strength.

Distilled on the 14th of May 1974 and bottled as a 26 year old from cask #1222.

Distilled in September 1990 and bottled in February 2019 at cask strength; One of only 800 bottles.

Smooth Ambler Old Scout 13 Year Old Single Barrel Bourbon

The Smooth Ambler is a craft distillery based in West Virginia, but the 'Old Scout' range is a collection of barrels sourced from other places, meeting the high standards of the Smooth Ambler brand. Old Scout was initially conceived as a means of generating funds in the intervening years that the initial Smooth Ambler spirit was maturing into whiskey, however its popularity has resulted in its continuation since.

This 13 year old straight bourbon was sourced from the Cascade Hollow distillery in Tennessee. This is batch number #13577.

Strathclyde 1973 Duncan Taylor 31 Year Old

A Lowland single grain whisky from Duncan Taylor's Rare Auld series.

This 1977 vintage Strathclyde was bottled from a single cask in July 2005.

Duncan Taylor was founded in Glasgow in 1938 as a cask broker and trading company. Its modern history began in 2001 when a former Glendronach employee, Euan Shand, purchased the firm and moved it to Huntly in Aberdeenshire, using the impressive cask portfolio it has amassed over the 20th century to become one of the premier independent bottlers in Scotland.

Originally only available at the Chivas distilleries this cask strength bottle of Strathisla was distilled in 1994 and bottled in 2013 at 19 years old.

Sheep Dip Amoroso Oloroso 1999

A rather unique whisky that was distilled and blended in Scotland in 1999 but spent 9 years maturing in Oloroso sherry casks at Sanchez Romate in Spain. This technically means that this cant be called Scotch whisky.

This was a big hit when it was released full of chocolatey notes that we all love. A delicious curiosity.

Scapa 2006 Reserve Collection 12 Year Old 50cl / Single Cask Edition

Distilled on 22nd March 2006 and bottled from a single first fill sherry butt on the 30th July 2018.

Taken from cask #674, this is bottle number 572 of only 828.

The Manager’s Dram series of whiskies were bottled exclusively for employees of what is now known as Diageo. These whiskies were selected by the respective distillery managers within Diageo malt distilling and bottled at natural cask strength.

This Strathmill was bottled in 2003 from a refill cask.

This 7 year old is from batch #57, which was bottled on 16th January 2014 from a barrels most likely sourced from MGP distillery, although Smooth Ambler also contract some distilling to Cascade Hollow in Tennessee.

This 10 year old is from batch #32 which was bottled on 26th March 2015 from barrels most likely sourced from MGP distillery in Indiana, although Smooth Ambler also contract soime distilling to Cascade Hollow in Tennesee.

Distilled on Orkney on 23rd November 2006 and bottled from a single first fill sherry butt cask #2173 on the 9th of May 2017.

SS Politician Whisky Galore Decanter

A blended whisky in a decanter named after the ship that sunk in \"Whisky Galore\"

This decanter contains a small amount of whisky which was recovered from the wreck of the SS Politician just off Eriskay in 1990 by a company who discovered several perfect bottles in the wreckage.
