An independent bottling of Bunnahabhain from Speciality Drinks for their Single Malts of Scotland label.

Distilled October 1979 and bottled in August 2009.

Balvenie Tun 1509 Batch #2

Another 'Tun' release from Balvenie following the footsteps of Balvenie Tun 1401 and 1858.

This larger Tun can hold up to four times as much liquid as Tun 1401 and hence we expect a larger quantity of this release.  This release is a combination of 32 casks, 18 traditional American oak barrels, 5 american oak hogsheads, 7 European oak sherry butts and 2 sherry hogsheads. These were married in tun 1509 for several months before bottling.

Braes of Glenlivet 1979 Whyte and Whyte 15 Year Old 75cl / Spirits Library

An absolutely spectacular independent Speyside single malt from the Braes of Glenlivet distillery, bottled in the same year in which it changed its name to Braeval.

Distilled in 1979 and matured for over 15 years in a single sherry cask.

This was bottled by Whyte and Whyte for the Spirits Library, a Scotch and Cognac retailer in the US.

Bottled at cask strength.

This is a heavily peated expression from Benriach. 

Distilled in 1984 and then bottled in July 2011 after being finished in virgin American oak hogshead #7193.

Bunnahabhain 1987 Sansibar 27 Year Old / Spirits Shop' Selection

An unusual independently bottled Bunnahabhain for Spirits Shop Selection by Sanisbar.

Distilled in 1987 and bottled in 2014 from a sherry cask.

Sansibar Whisky is a German independent bottler, specialising in Scotch, Japanese whisky and rum. Founded by connoisseur, Jens Drewitz, he tastes and hand-selects almost every cask he purchases, on site at the distilleries. An impressive eye for quality, Sansibar have also supported other small independents, acting as the exclusive German distributor for Glasgow's North Star, and Hidden Spirits in Italy, the second bottling endeavour from legendary Intertrade founder, Nadi Fiori.

Bowmore 2002 Hand Filled 13 Year Old Cask #1692 / 1st Fill Oloroso Butt

Available to bottle yourself at Bowmore distillery, this 'hand filled' was distilled on 5th July 2002 and bottled on 30th March 2016 at 13 years old.

Bottled from a single first-fill Oloroso sherry butt #1692.

Balvenie Tun 1509 Batch #4

Another 'tun' release from Balvenie, following the footsteps of Balvenie Tun 1401 and 1858.

This larger Tun can hold up to four times as much liquid as Tun 1401.  

This release is a combination of 23 casks: 13 refill American oak butts and 10 Sherry Butts.

Blanton's Single Barrel Limited Edition 2017 / M&P Wine and Spirits Festival 

First introduced by then Ancient Age distillery Master Distiller, Elmer T. Lee, Blanton's was the first single barrel bourbon popularised in the US. Ancient Age was renamed the Buffalo Trace distillery by the Sazerac company in 1999.

Normally a 6 to 8 year old bourbon, it is aged in Warehouse H at Buffalo Trace, which is the only metal-clad warehouse at the distillery, commissioned for construction by Albert B. Blanton, after whom the whiskey is named. The warehouse was built shortly after prohibition and being metal, transfers heat quicker than brick warehouses, allowing for more rapid ageing.

This is a 2017 bottling, dumped on the 18th July and matured in barrel #913.

Stored on rick No.14 and bottled at 100 proof for the 2017 M&P Wine & Spirits festival.

Each bottle of Blanton's has one of 8 different stoppers, each depicting a horse and jockey at a different stage of finishing a race. The designs are all lettered so that a complete set laid out side by side will spell \"BLANTONS.\"

Bunnahabhain 1980 Whisky Agency 34 Year Old / The Perfect Dram

This Bunnahabhain was matured in a refill butt before being bottled for Germany's The Whisky Agency in 2014.

Part of the The Perfect Dram range, this was specially selected and approved by Master taster, F. Thomas.

The Whisky Agency was founded in Germany by Carsten Ehrlich, who is also the driving force behind The Whisky Fair in Limburg, one of the world's most renowned annual whisky gatherings. Their passion is unquestionable, and they have a regular release schedule of high quality single casks, often in collaboration with some of the most respected whisky bars and retailers. The Whisky Agency's labels include The Perfect Dram, Liquid Library, Private Stock, and Liquid Sun.

Bowmore 1993 Whisky Agency 16 Year Old / Perfect Dram

The Perfect Dram is a series of independent bottlings produced for the Whisky Agency in Germany.

Distilled in 1993 on the isle of Islay, this Bowmore bottled at 16 years old in 2010.

One of 209 bottles filled at cask strength from an ex-bourbon hogshead.

Ben Wyvis 1968 Signatory Vintage Miniature 5cl

Ben Wyvis was a distillery in Invergordon and operated between 1965 and 1977. 

This was distilled in June 1968 matured in single cask no. 685 and bottled in February 2000. 

Signatory Vintage were established in 1988 by Andrew Symington and are one of Scotland's most prolific independent bottlers. Their offices and bottling facility are located next to Edradour distillery, which they have also owned since 2002.

Bowmore 2002 Hand Filled 13 Year Old Cask #1692 / 1st Fill Oloroso Butt

Available to bottle yourself at Bowmore distillery, this 'hand filled' was distilled on 5th July 2002 and bottled on 24th March 2016 at 13 years old.

Balmenach 12 Year Old Flora and Fauna White Cap

One of the most desirable of the Flora and Fauna series, the tasty Balmenach was released as a 12 year old and especially rare with the white cap.

Distilleries Company Ltd (DCL/Diageo) created the Flora and Fauna series in the early 1990s, when DCL sold the distillery to Inverhouse distillers this bottle was discontinued.

Buffalo Trace 1993 Experimental Collection 17 Year Old 37.5cl / Rediscovered 1993 Barrels

Buffalo Trace have released a number of experiments, this particular release was matured in eight rediscovered charred white oak barrels which were produced by Bluegrass Cooperage. 

They were distilled in May 1993, way back when the site was still known as Ancient Age.

A peated single cask Benriach distilled in 1985 and bottled in June 2013 after finishing in a virgin American oak cask.

Bruichladdich 10 Year Old 1980s / Moon Import

Moon Import was founded by Pepi Mongiardino in 1980 and he bottled his first whisky in 1982. Always beautifully labelled, Pepi is acclaimed for designing the packaging for Moon Import bottles himself, often using images found in old books. These iconic designs, coupled with the quality of the liquid saw Moon Import steadily grow in popularity. The company is still going strong, and their early releases are some of the brightest gems in any whisky collection.

This was officially bottled for Mongiardino. He became the Bruichladdich distributor in the early 1980s, and imported their whisky for 5 years before selling the contract to Rinaldi.

In addition to the standard range, Mongiardino bottled outside of the standard 10, 15 and 17 year old Bruichladdich, which are well worth looking our for.

Bowmore 1997 Douglas Laing 21 Year Old / XOP

An independent bottling from Islay's oldest distillery, Bowmore.

Distilled in March 1997 and bottled 21 years later in June 2018 by Douglas Laing as part of their XOP series.

Old Particular is Douglas Laing's flagship label, and was launched in 2013 after their Old Malt Cask series became part of the portfolio of the newly established Hunter Laing. Xtra Old Particular is the premium version of the brand, and is reserved for casks the company considers the Laing \"family jewels.\"

Refill hogshead #12539 yielded 317 bottles.

Bruichladdich 1989 Single Cask 20 Year Old Rum Finish 50cl

This is a fantastic single cask Bruichladdich.

Distilled in 1989 and aged 20 years with a rum finish.

Blanton's Single Barrel Black Label Dumped 2018 / Japanese Import

Ben Nevis 1966 Whisky Broker 49 Year Old 50cl / Spirit of the Highlands

No longer able to be called single malt Scotch due to its depleted ABV, this is a \"spirit of the Highlands\" from Whisky Broker.

A vatting of 6 hogsheads, distilled in 1966 at Ben Nevis and bottled at its lowly cask strength after 49 years.

This Bunnahabhain was distilled in 1979 and bottled 25 years later by Direct Wines, part of their extensive First Cask series.
