Aberlour A'Bunadh Batch #57

Aberlour A'Bunadh is bottled at cask strength in the tradition of 19th century single malts when villagers would come to the distillery to collect their dram straight from the cask, often in apothecary bottles obtained from the village chemist. These were the inspiration for the A'Bunadh bottle shape today.

A'Bunadh is bottled using only first fill Oloroso sherry butts, this is batch #57 released in 2016.

Ardbeg 10 Year Old Black Mystery 2nd Release

The second 'Black Mystery' release of 3,000 shiny glossy black boxes.

This was created and sold specifically in the French market - with the majority being sold by La Maison Du Whisky.

Ardbeg 10 Year Old accompanied the impressive packaging.

Ardmore 1997 First Editions 20 Year Old

This Ardmore was distilled in 1997 and matured in a refill hogshead. 

Edition Spirits was founded in 2010 by Scott and Andrew Laing, the sons of Douglas Laing founder, Stewart. When he left Douglas Laing to establish the new Hunter Laing company in 2013, he was joined by his sons who made Edition Spirits one of its operating arms, along with Langside Distillers.

Bottled in 2018 as a 20 year old.

Aberfeldy 21 Year Old 75cl / US Import

A very tasty Aberfeldy, first introduced in 2005 and given a lovely 'make-over' in 2014. 

The Aberfeldy Distillery was established just three miles from the birth place of founder John Dewar and was built by the Dewar family. It is steeped in history and craftsmanship. 

Released on June 1^st 2012 as Ardbeg’s annual Feis Ile bottling it was not only available at Ardbeg Distillery but also via 100 of Ardbeg’s ‘embassies’.

The hugely popular Ardbeg Day was a limited run of 12,000 bottles partially married in ex refill sherry casks used to mature whisky the Ardbeg Uigeadail.

These 5cl miniatures of Ardbeg Day are very rare.

Ardmore 1996 20 Year Old​ / Bourbon and Islay Cask 

A single vintage bottling of Ardmore, a marriage of first fill bourbon and ex-Islay cask matured whisky. 

Given that Laphroaig supplied the quarter casks for the now discontinued Traditional, it's a safe bet they contributed the casks for this too.

Ancient Bottle London Dry Gin 1950s

A London dry gin produced by Canadian distilling giants, Seagram.

The bottle bears the Sigillo Stella tax medal used in the 1950s.

The site of Seagram's Waterloo distillery, where this was produced, was shut down and converted into the Seagram Museum in 1984.

Auchroisk 1994 Hunter Laing 24 Year Old

An independently bottled Auchroisk from Hunter Laing.

Distilled in February 1994, matured for 24 years in a single cask and bottled in August 2018. 

The Old Malt Cask series is one of the most established independent labels on the market. It was launched by Douglas Laing in 1998 and bottled by them until 2013 when the brand became part of the Hunter Laing portfolio instead. This resurrection of the older label style celebrates the 20th anniversary of the brand.

Aultmore 1991 Hunter Laing 21 Year Old 75cl / US Exclusive

An independently bottled Aultmore from Hunter Laing.

Distilled in September 1991, matured for 21 years in a single cask and bottled in July 2013 for the US market. Refill hogshead #HL9821 was selected specially by Brad Jarvis and yielded 150 bottles.

A mysterious 15 year old single malt whisky from the highlands which has been very romantically packaged.

Released in 2016 and bottled at 46%.

Arran Millennium Casks

A memorable mix of 10 sherry hogsheads and 35 bourbon barrels, the Arran Millennium casks were distilled and filled into these casks on the 31^st December 1999 and 1^st January 2000. 

A limited release of 7,800 bottles.

Ardbeg An Oa

Released in September 2017 at Ardbeg Embassies and whisky specialists, the An Oa is the fourth addition to the distillery's Ultimate range.

The whisky itself is a marriage of Pedro Ximenez Sherry, Bourbon, and Charred Virgin Oak casks, which have been combined together in the distillery's bespoke Gathering Vat.

Ardbeg Guaranteed 10 Year Old Miniature 1970s

A very rare, highly sought after miniature bottle of Ardbeg 10 year old, originally available in the 1970s.

The Ardbeg Distillery lies on the most Southernly part of Islay and on the rugged shores of the Atlantic Ocean. Ardbeg is revered around the world as the peatiest, smokiest, most complex whisky of them all. Yet it does not flaunt the peat: rather the peat gives way to the malt, the natural sweetness of which subtly intrudes, producing perfect balance.

Ardbeg Supernova SN2014 Committee Release Miniature

You would not think it to see it now, but Ardbeg had a difficult time of it for much of the 20th century. The distillery was bought in a joint venture between Hiram Walker and DCL in 1959, both intending to supply their blends. The subsequent years were very successful, but DCL backed out in 1979 (closing many of their other distilleries a few years later), and Hiram Walker then struggled in the 1980s era oversupply when interest in blended Scotch was waning. They closed it down for the majority of the decade. It re-opened briefly in the 1990s before being revived for good by Glenmorangie plc in 1997. 

Following in the footsteps of the previous Supernova release, this is as peaty as Ardbeg gets.  Sold exclusively to members of the Ardbeg Committee via Ardbeg Embassies worldwide, as you can imagine it was not available for long...

This release celebrates the return to earth of the 'Ardbeg Space Experiment'.

Officially launched in January 2000, the Ardbeg Committee is a fan club that loosely tasked with safeguarding the distillery from a return to its darker days of the previous century. Open to anyone to register, the club has access to exclusive releases like this one, which are never available to the general public. Membership also have access to a private room at the distillery and are asked to adhere to semi-tongue in cheek set of Committee rules, one of which warns of grave consequences for those who mix their Ardbeg with anything other than water.

Auchentoshan 18 Year Old

An 18 year old expression from the Scotch maestros of triple distillation, Auchentoshan. 

Matured in bourbon casks. 

Ardbeg Corryvreckan

Ardbeg Corryvreckan is named after the famous whirlpool off the northern tip of Jura.

This expression joined the Ardbeg 10 year old and Uigeadail as an ongoing product, replacing the Airgh Nam Beist. This Ardbeg was matured in predominantly French oak casks and ex-bourbon American oak casks.

Ardnamurchan Spirit 2018/AD Limited Release No.3

This is the third release of matured new make spirit from Adelphi's Ardnamurchan distillery, which is situated near Glenbeg on the far west of the Scottish mainland. 

New make spirit matured in 1st fill sherry casks (both Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez). 

Each bottle has a scannable QR code which reveals complete details of the spirit from barley to bottle.
