Arran 1996 Douglas Laing 21 Year Old

Distilled in July 1996, three years after production commenced at Arran distillery. Bottled as a 21 year old in February 2018

Old Particular is Douglas Laing's flagship label, and was launched in 2013 after their Old Malt Cask series became part of the portfolio of the newly established Hunter Laing.

Auchentoshan 2008 Distillery Cask #3814 / Wine Cask

The Distillery Cask series from Auchentoshan is a visitor exclusive range, available only to hand-fill from the cask at the distillery.

This one was distilled on 17th September 2008 and bottled on 6th March 2019 from wine cask #3814.

Arran 21st Anniversary Limited Edition

A fantastic limited edition Arran, bottled to celebrate the 21st anniversary of Arran distillery.  

A limited release of 5,988 bottles were produced from a selection of ex-Sherry hogsheads from the first three years of production at the distillery.

Arran Smugglers' Series Volume 2 / The High Seas

A very cool nod to the shady history of Arran's distilling. Back during the 18th and 19th century the island was a producer of illicit whisky.This second release is specifically for the producers of the famed Arran Waters. 

The whisky itself is a peated spirit matured in rum casks and finished in first fill bourbon barrels.

One of 8,700 bottles. 

Old Pulteney 2007 SMWS 11 Year Old 52.22

'Dusky and deep'

A single cask Old Pulteney, bottled by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society from cask 52.22.

Distilled 21st March 2007 and matured for 11 years in a combination of bourbon wood and a first fill ex-Oloroso hogshead.

A Carn Mor 'Celebration of the Cask ' release from Morrison and Mackay.

Distilled at Auchroisk in 1990, and matured in hogshead cask #21750.

One of 273 bottles filled on 2nd February 2015.

Anderson Club 10 Year Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon 1990s

An old bottle of Anderson Club bourbon from the mid-1990's.

It was distilled and bottled at the old Heaven Hill distillery, before it was tragically burned down in a fire in 1996 and production moved to the new site at Bernheim.

Anderson Club is a charcoal filtered whiskey, a practice known as the Lincoln County Process and often better associated with Tennessee Whiskies such as Jack Daniel's. This often leads to a common misconception, likely deliberately promoted by some distillers, that whiskey produced in this fashion cannot be called bourbon. 

Old Chevalier Scotch Whisky 1940s / US Import

Old Chevalier is a blended Scotch whisky produced by Hepburn & Ross in Glasgow.

This was imported to the US in the late 1940s by Marco Importing Co, IL.

Ardbeg Perpetuum Bicentenary Release

Released in 2015 to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the legendary Islay distillery. This is the standard 47.4% release which was released during Feis Ile 2015.

Perpetuum is a blend of old and young whisky which has been matured in both bourbon and sherry casks.

Arran 1998 Single Cask 18 Year Old

Distiled in 1998 and then bottled in 2016, this Arran came from Sherry Hogshead 894.

A single cask bottle of Arran, distilled in 1995 and bottled for The Whiksy Agency in Germany and The Nectar in Belgium.

Matured for 16 years in a refill hogshead.

The Whisky Agency was founded in Germany by Carsten Ehrlich, who is also the driving force behind The Whisky Fair in Limburg, one of the world's most renowned annual whisky gatherings. Their passion is unquestionable, and they have a regular release schedule of high quality single casks, often in collaboration with some of the most respected whisky bars and retailers. The Whisky Agency's labels include The Perfect Dram, Liquid Library, Private Stock, and Liquid Sun.

Ardbeg Auriverdes

The Auriverdes was the 2014 Ardbeg Day release, an annual open day which coincides with the Feis Ile festival on Islay, on this occasion the 31st of May.

Auriverdes is a Portuguese term created by the combination of auri, meaning \"gold\" and verde, meaning \"green.\" The word is commonly used in reference to the national flag, or as a nickname for many of their sports teams on account of their uniforms. Coincidentally, these are also the brand colours of Ardbeg distillery.

Arran Devil’s Punch Bowl Chapter II           

Released in 2013, Arran’s second edition release in the very popular punch bowl series consists of 27 casks distilled between 1997 and 2004; 17 of which are sherry casks, 6 ‘unpeated’ bourbon casks and 4 peated bourbon casks.

Known as the Angels and Devils edition, only 6,660 bottles have been released.

An independent bottling from island distillery, Arran.

Distilled in 1997, this was finished in a rum cask before being bottled for The Whisky Agency in 2014, in collaboration with Swiss duty free store, ACLA, who selected the cask for the Whisky-Schiff Zurich that year.

'Crumbled sweets in a leather satchel'

Distilled on the 11th of October 2000 and bottled 17 years later by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society.

This was matured in an ex-bourbon hogshead before finishing in a first fill ex-Oloroso hogshead.

Old 1889 Royal 12 Year Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon 1980s

The Old 1889 brand is a historic bourbon brand, now owned by Heaven Hill. The bourbon was originally produced at Meadowlawn distillery, however the site suffered a severe fire in 1966, and then burned down completely in 1971. They continued to bottle the brand until 1977 when their stock ran out and Heaven Hill acquired the label.

Almost unbelievably, the Heaven Hill distillery in Bardstown where this was bottled in 1988, also burned down 8 years later. Heaven Hill's distillery operation has been located at Bernheim ever since.

This is a Japanese import.

This Oban has been finished in Montilla Fino cask wood. Bottled in 2003.
