Invergordon 1997 Douglas Laing 21 Year Old

An independent bottling of Invergordon, distilled in 1997 and bottled at 21 years old by Douglas Laing.

Matured in refill barrel #DL12185.

Old Particular is Douglas Laing's flagship label, and was launched in 2013 after their Old Malt Cask series became part of the portfolio of the newly established Hunter Laing.

King Kamehameha Hawaii 6 Year Old Bourbon

A bottle of six year old bourbon to celebrate King Kamehameha I who was the founder and first ruler of the Kingdom of Hawaii. He reigned as king of the Islands from 1782 - 1819.

The bourbon itself was made in Bradstown, Kentucky by the Anderson Club and was bottled in the late 1990s or early 2000s.

Inchgower 2000 Whisky Agency 13 Year Old / Austrian Exclusive

An Inchgower single malt distilled in 2000 and matured in a single sherry butt until bottling at 13 years old.

Kilchoman Inaugural 100% Islay

Released in 2011, this is the inaugural bottling of Kilchoman's popular 100% Islay releases.

All parts of the production process for the 100% Islay take place at the distillery – from barley to bottle. The barley is grown, malted, distilled, matured and bottled at Kilchoman. Bottled at 50% ABV and peated to a lower level to that of other releases.

Aged in a combination of fresh and refill bourbon barrels for 3 years.

Kaiyo Mizunara Oak Cask Strength

An interesting Japanese whisky that is developing some traction within the small circles lucky enough to have tasted it.

Kaiyo is a bottling company run by former Asahi Brewery company employee, Mr. Watanabe. He uses his considerable connections in the drinks industry to procure teaspooned casks from an as yet undisclosed Japanese distillery. Given the 2018 announcement of shortages at Suntory, we would be surprised if it was one of theirs.

This is a cask strength whisky, matured in rare Japanese Mizunara oak.

Kanosuke 2018 New Born 20cl

An exciting release from one of the new kids on the Japanese whisky block, Kanosuke Distillery in Kagoshima. 

Situated near a beach, Kanosuke was established by shochu producer Komasa Jyozo Co. and is situated near to the Tsunuki distillery. 

This expression was distilled in February 2018, mellowed in white oak casks and bottled in November 2018.

A mystery Islay single malt, bottled for Sansibar in Germany after being selected by P. Van Vliet and J. Corte. 

Distilled in 2008 and bottled 8 years later in 2016.

One of only 250 bottles.

Sansibar Whisky is a German independent bottler, specialising in Scotch, Japanese whisky and rum. Founded by connoisseur, Jens Drewitz, he tastes and hand-selects almost every cask he purchases, on site at the distilleries. An impressive eye for quality, Sansibar have also supported other small independents, acting as the exclusive German distributor for Glasgow's North Star, and Hidden Spirits in Italy, the second bottling endeavour from legendary Intertrade founder, Nadi Fiori.
