Ichiro's Malt Wine Wood Reserve

Rumoured to be a vatting of the closed Japanese distillery of Hanyu with that of the relatively young distillery of Chichibu, where this whisky was matured, married and bottled.​

Given that this was first released in 2010 and and Hanyu has become thinner on the ground since, we can only assume the Hanyu content has or will eventually be removed.

When that will happen or if it has already happened is unclear. 

Finished in French oak wine casks.

Benriach 1991 Whisky Agency 22 Year Old

An independent bottling of single malt whisky from Speyside distillery, Benriach.

Distilled in 1991, this was matured in a a refill barrel and bottled for The Whisky Agency in 2014. 

One of only 182 bottles.

The Whisky Agency was founded in Germany by Carsten Ehrlich, who is also the driving force behind The Whisky Fair in Limburg, one of the world's most renowned annual whisky gatherings. Their passion is unquestionable, and they have a regular release schedule of high quality single casks, often in collaboration with some of the most respected whisky bars and retailers. The Whisky Agency's labels include The Perfect Dram, Liquid Library, Private Stock, and Liquid Sun.

Benriach 17 Year Old PX Sherry Wood Finish

A 17 year old from Benriach, part of their wood finishes range.

This was finished in Pedrox Ximenez sherry butts.

Benriach 21 Year Old Authenticus

Benriach has quickly become a well known challenger to Islay malts, the Authenticus sits at the top of their core range created from peated spirit.

Benriach is one of the few remaining distilleries in Scotland that still uses its own malt floors to produce peated barley.

Ben Nevis 1991 Signatory Vintage 22 Year Old

A single cask Ben Nevis bottled by Signatory Vintage,part of their Un-Chillfiltered Collection.

Signatory Vintage were established in 1988 by Andrew Symington and are one of Scotland's most prolific independent bottlers. Their offices and bottling facility are located next to Edradour distillery, which they have also owned since 2002.

Distilled on 16th August 1991 and bottled on 17th January 2014 from a single sherry butt #2908.

Invergordon 1988 Douglas Laing 30 Year Old

Single grain whisky distilled in February 1988 and bottled in September 2018.

Old Particular is Douglas Laing's flagship label, and was launched in 2013 after their Old Malt Cask series became part of the portfolio of the newly established Hunter Laing.

Imperial 1995 Signatory Vintage 20 Year Old

Mothballed in 1998, Imperial distillery has been completely demolished and is becoming increasingly sought after. 

Distilled on 18th September 1995 and bottled 24th September 2015 by Signatory Vintage as part of their Un-Chillfiltered Collection.

Matured in hogsheads #50222+#50223

Bunnahabhain 2008 SMWS 9 Year Old 10.162

This Bunnahabhain was distilled on 22nd October 2008 and matured in a first-fill ex-Oloroso hogshead.

Inchmurrin 1996 Malts of Scotland Sherry Hogshead

This whisky was distilled at Loch Lomond Distillery and matured in a sherry hogshead.

Malts of Scotland were founded in 2005 by whisky enthusiast and connoisseur, Thomas Ewers.

Bottle number 89 of 221 filled in 2018.

A well-aged Imperial bottled for The Ultimate Whisky Company, Amsterdam in 2016.

Distilled on 18th August 1995 and matured in hogshead #50241. Bottled 15th January 2016.

Bowmore Bourbon Cask / Feis Ile 2014

This bourbon cask matured Bowmore was released at the 2014 Feis Ile, limited to only 1,000 bottles, only available at the distillery.

Matured predominantly in first fill Bourbon casks, bottled on 16th May 2014. The bag interestingly suggest that this whisky was also matured first fill American oak bourbon barrels and French wine Barriques.

Bowmore 1990 Douglas of Drumlanrig 18 Year Old 75cl / US Import

An independently bottled Bowmore by Langside Distillers, part of their Douglas of Drumlanrig range.

 Distilled in May 1990 and bottled in September 2008, there were only 150 bottles of this bourbon released.

Blanton's Single Barrel Dumped 2016 / Old Oaks

First introduced by then Ancient Age distillery Master Distiller, Elmer T. Lee, Blanton's was the first single barrel bourbon popularised in the US. Ancient Age was renamed the Buffalo Trace distillery by the Sazerac company in 1999.

Normally a 6 to 8 year old bourbon, it is aged in Warehouse H at Buffalo Trace, which is the only metal-clad warehouse at the distillery, commissioned for construction by Albert B. Blanton, after whom the whiskey is named. The warehouse was built shortly after prohibition and being metal, transfers heat quicker than brick warehouses, allowing for more rapid ageing.

This is a 2016 bottling, dumped on the 15th August and matured in barrel #25.

Stored on rick No.2 and bottled at 93 proof. Barrel #25 was a special selection by Old Oaks Cigars and Liquor in California.

Each bottle of Blanton's has one of 8 different stoppers, each depicting a horse and jockey at a different stage of finishing a race. The designs are all lettered so that a complete set laid out side by side will spell \"BLANTONS.\" This stopper is letter S.

Benriach 2008 Peated Single Cask 9 Year Old #2048 / Port Pipe

This is a heavily peated expression from Benriach, distilled in 2008 and then bottled in 2018 from port pipe #2048.

Benriach distillery peat their own malt on their in-house floor maltings. They are one of only seven Scottish sites still to do so.
