Distilled in July 1997 and bottled from cask #6935 in July 2015.

Compass Box Canto Cask #35

Canto Cask #35 is part of a Compass Box range of single cask, cask strength whiskies. The initial 16 releases were blends.

This was bottled in July 2007 from new American oak heads that had been charred to level 5 on Compass Box's scale.

Canto cask #35 was specially selected by Maurizio Cagnolati of Arnolfini in Italy.

Chichibu Ichiro's Malt IPA Cask Finish / 2017

A larger release of IPA Cask finish Chichibu, following on from the highly popular single cask #3867 version 

Matured in a bourbon barrel before finished in an IPA cask.

One of 6700 bottles.

Camus is a well established Cognac brand that carries history back to 1863 when Jean-Baptiste Camus founded a group of Cognac producers under the banner 'La Grande Marque'.

The hand made Limoges Porcelain decanter display The Irises , the 1889 art work from Vincent Van Gogh.  

Gilded with 22k gold.

This is from the relatively new and incredibly popular Japanese distillery Chichibu.

Distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2018, this has been produced from heavily peated malt and bottled at cask strength.

Featuring the image of Basil Hayden, Old Grand-dad is a classic of the bourbon world. 

Distilled and bottled by National Distillers at the now silent Old Grand-dad distillery.

The 1970s and 1980s represented a period in the US known as the \"Glut Era,\" when warehouses were over-stocked with whiskey, and many barrels of better-aged than usual bourbon was often dumped into these standard expressions. They are well worth trying.

Old Fitzgerald 2008 Bottled in Bond 9 Year Old

Currently distilled at Heaven Hill, this brand was once under the ownership of the legendary Pappy Van Winkle, who bought it for the princely sum of $10,000 from Old Judge distillery at the close of prohibition in 1933.

Heaven Hill procured the brand from United Distillers in 1999 along with the Bernheim distillery, who had been producing it until then using the remaining Stitzel-Weller stock.

This was distilled at Heaven Hill's Bernheim site in 2008, and bottled in Fall 2018.

Clynelish 1995 Single Malts of Scotland 21 Year Old

A well-aged Clynelish bottled for Elixir Distillers.

Distilled 31st October 1995 and matured in single hogshead #10203, before being bottled on 22nd September 2017.

This is one of 246 bottles.

Released in 2014, Craigellachie's entire award-winning range has raised many people's opinion of this relatively unknown Speyside distillery.

Octomore 6.3 Islay Barley

Aged for 5 years in true Octomore fashion, this is the most heavily peated Octomore so far at 258ppm. The barley is also entirely sourced from the island of Islay.

18,000 bottles produced and bottled at 64%.

Clynelish 1995 Douglas Laing 21 Year Old / XOP

Old Particular is Douglas Laing's flagship label, and was launched in 2013 after their Old Malt Cask series became part of the portfolio of the newly established Hunter Laing. Xtra Old Particular is the premium version of the brand, and is reserved for casks the company considers the Laing \"family jewels.\"

This Clynelish was distilledin 1995 and matured in a refill hogshead #DL12014.

One of 265 bottles. 

Caol Ila 1974 First Cask 19 Year Old

An independent bottling from Direct Wines, part of their First Cask series.

Distilled at Caol Ila distillery on 24th December 1974 and bottled as a 19 year old.

This is bottle number 147, which was drawn from cask #12497.

Cragganmore 1989 Cask Strength 21 Year Old

A cask strength Cragganmore, bottled at part of the Diageo super premium releases in 2010.

Distilled in 1989 and bottled at natural cask strength.

Caol Ila 1990 Wilson and Morgan 25 Year Old

An independent bottling of single malt whisky from Islay distillery, Caol Ila.

Wilson & Morgan was founded in Italy in 1992 by Fabio Rossi, the son of prolific importer Mario Rossi Jr, who began distributing Scotch whisky back in the 1960s. His son’s company was one of a new generation of Italian bottlers established in the 1990s, which aimed to replicate the successes of predecessors like Samaroli and Moon Import.

One of only 408 bottles drawn from a Oloroso cask in 2015.

Distilled in 1982 and bottled from a single refill hogshead #12535 in June 2018.

Old Fitzgerald '1849'

A premium bourbon distilled at Heaven Hill and highly rated by Dave Broom in Whisky Mag.

This is a Japanese Import bottling of the 1849, historically produced at Stitzel-Weller by the Van Winkle family and named after the year in which the W.L. Weller company was founded. The brand has been produced at Heaven Hill since 1999 when it was sold to them by United Distillers along with the Bernheim distillery.

The expression is named 1849 after the year in which the W.L. Weller company was formed.

Old Grand-Dad 114 Proof Bourbon / Lot No.18

Featuring the image of Basil Hayden, Old Grand-dad is a classic of the bourbon world. 

Jim Beam purchased the brand in 1987, and this was produced at their distillery in Clermont, KY. Old Grand-dad is now silent, although Beam continue to use it as a warehouse for ageing barrels.

This edition is 114 barrel proof.

Caol Ila 1998 Cask Strength / Feis Ile 2015

Distilled in 1998 and released in June 2015 for the annual Feis Ile, this Caol Ila was specially selected by David Wood.

One of only 1500 bottles produced.

Old Crow Kentucky Straight Bourbon 1970s

A 1970s bottling of Kentucky Bourbon. 

Old Crow is was one of Kentucky's earliest bourbon brands, created in the 1830s by Scottish immigrant James C. Crow, Master Distiller at the Old Oscar Pepper distillery. He pioneered the use of scientific methods to ensure continuity in the quality of his whiskey. The brand was purchased by W.A. Gaines who opened the Old Crow distillery. Both were then procured by National Distillers during prohibition, who produced the brand until 1987 when they were purchased by Jim Beam who shut the distillery and moved production to their Clermont facility.

This is the National Distillers era version.

A single cask matured Old Pulteney, bottled by exclusively for The Whisky Exchange. 

Distilled in 2004 and matured in sherry cask #128.

One of only 612 bottles.
