George T Stagg 2018 Release

The 2018 edition of George T Stagg, part of the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection.

The Antique Collection celebrates historic US whiskey brands, figures and places. George T. Stagg was a 19th century distiller, and the Buffalo Trace distillery was named after him for most of the 20th century, becoming Ancient Age in 1983 and adopting its current title in 1999.

The 2018 bottling has been produced from 284 barrels containing Bourbon distilled in Spring 2003.

Glenugie 1982 Douglas Laing 27 Year Old

There really are very few examples of Glenugie around these days, this Douglas Laing bottling is part of the long-running Old Malt Cask series.

Distilled in March 1982 and bottled in March 2009 after maturation in a bourbon cask.

Glen Grant 1974 Berry Brothers and Rudd 37 Year Old

Distilled in 1974 and bottled in 2012 by Berry Brothers and Rudd.

Berry Brothers and Rudd is a firm steeped in history. They were established in the late 17th century, and received a Royal Warrant from King Edward VII in 1903. The company has been bottling single malt whisky from almost as early as that, and produced their first ever blend, Cutty Sark, in 1923.

Glenlivet 1970 Highland Inn 36 Year Old / Hankyu British Fair

A well-aged Glenlivet, selected and bottled by the Highlander Inn in Craigellachie for the Hankyu British Fair in 2006.

1970 was chosen as the vintage as this was the year of the first Hankyu British Fair. 36 year old was deemed fitting, as this was the 36th fair, and Glenlivet was slected purely for its prestige.

Bottle 4 of just 84 drawn from a single cask.

Glenfarclas 1994 Family Casks Double Cask / Special Release

Bottled as part of the Glenfarclas Family Cask series, perhaps the most extensive collection of vintage whiskies from a single distillery.

This 1994 vintage is a rare vatting of two casks. Both were Oloroso sherry casks, distilled on 3rd November 1994  and numbered #3913 and #3914.

Bottled as cask strength on 8th May 2014.

One of 556 bottles.

Glenfarclas 1978 Family Cask #3974 / World Whisky Index

A special release as part of the Glenfarclas Family Cask series, distilled in 1978 and matured in cask #3974.

Bottled in November 2013 for the World Whisky Index.

A very old bottle of Glenfarclas from the 1970's with the rare screen printed label.

Glengoyne 1972 Whisky Agency 38 Year Old / The Perfect Dram

This Glengoyne was distilled in 1972 and matured in an ex-bourbon barrel.  Bottled by The Whisky Agency in 2011 as part of their Perfect Dram series. 

One of 165 bottles. 

The Whisky Agency was founded in Germany by Carsten Ehrlich, who is also the driving force behind The Whisky Fair in Limburg, one of the world's most renowned annual whisky gatherings. Their passion is unquestionable, and they have a regular release schedule of high quality single casks, often in collaboration with some of the most respected whisky bars and retailers. The Whisky Agency's labels include The Perfect Dram, Liquid Library, Private Stock, and Liquid Sun.

Glendronach 15 Year Old 75cl 1990s / US Import​

Along with the 1990s 12 Year Old Sherry cask, this 15 year old led the sales volume for Glendronach in the 1990’s before the distillery was passed to Billy Walker.

Billy then honoured the former 15 year old by naming the new version, \"Revival\" in the early 2000s - which was another resounding success before eventually being discontinued as well

Matured exclusively in Sherry casks.

Glendronach 1992 Single Cask 25 Year Old #103​

A 25 year old Sherry butt matured Glendronach, part of their extensive and ever-popular single cask series.

Distilled in May 1992 and bottled in 2017.

Glen Elgin 12 Year Old Flora and Fauna

One of the more difficult to find Flora and Fauna bottlings, the 12 year old Glen Elgin was discontinued several years ago.

The Glendronach hand fill bottlings are known as the Manager's Casks.

Distilled in 1992 and bottled by hand at the distillery and has been matured in a sherry butt.

A 2016 addition to the ever-popular Glendronach single cask range, this was part of batch #14.

Distilled on 15th January 1993 and bottled at 23 years old from Oloroso sherry butt #42.

A lovely example of a vintage Glen Moray 1971 bottled in 1999.

Glen Ord 1973 Rare Malt 23 Year Old 75cl / 59.8%

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

This Glen Ord was distilled in 1973 and bottled 23 years later in September 1997.

A classic rich, full bodied and heavily-sherried whisky from the acclaimed Speyside distillery, Glenfarclas.

Glenfarclas 1989 Distillery Exclusive 26 Year Old

This 26 year old Glenfarclas from 1989 was sold during the Spirit of Speyside Festival 2015.

Limited to only 585 bottles, this is number 294.

Glencadam 1972 Signatory Vintage 29 Year Old with Miniature 5cl / Silent Stills

Bottled by Signatory Vintage, this Glencadam was distilled on 6th December 1972 and bottled on 29th October 2001 from cask #7821.

This is a bit of a time capsule, bottled for the Signatory Vintage Silent Stills series during the brief 3 year mothballing at the turn of the century.

The Silent Stills packs contain a 70cl bottle, 5cl miniature and replica bung. This is set 271 of 298.

Signatory Vintage were established in 1988 by Andrew Symington and are one of Scotland's most prolific independent bottlers. Their offices and bottling facility are located next to Edradour distillery, which they have also owned since 2002.

Glendronach 1993 Single Cask 20 Year Old #33 / Abbey Whisky

A 20 year old Glendronach matured in a Oloroso Sherry butt.

Distilled in Januray 1993 and bottled in November 2013 exclusivley for Abbey Whisky.

Distilled on 14th May 1981 and bottled March 1998, this is a cask strength Glenmorangie selected by the distillery manager.

This independent bottling from the long lost distillery Glen Albyn was distilled in 1976 and bottled in 2012 by Gordon and MacPhail.

Glendronach 1993 Single Cask 24 Year Old #668 / Hong Fu 

A 24 year old Glendronach matured in single Sherry butt #668.

Distilled in March 1993 and bottled in 2017 exclusively for the Hong Fu

Glen Scotia 1974 Signatory Vintage 33 Year Old Cask Strength

An excellent cask strength Glen Scotia from Signatory Vitnage, distilled on 16th March 1974 and bottled on 21st August 2007. 

Single bourbon barrel #847 yielded 219 bottles, of which this is bottle number 213.

Garnheath 1972 Signatory Vintage 27 Year Old with Miniature 5cl / Silent Stills

A presentation pack of Garnheath, a long lost and incredibly desirable grain whisky, distilled on 3rd of May 1972 and bottled on 1st of February 2000.

This 27 year old single grain whisky was bottled from single cask #386516 and is presented with a replica bung and matching miniature.

Glenmorangie Sonnalta PX is the first of the distillery's Private Collection bottlings.

Sonnalta PX has been finished in casks formerly containing Pedro Ximenez.

Glen Mhor 1979 Rare Malt 22 Year Old / 61.0%

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

Distilled 1979 and bottled October 2001. 

The distillery was closed in 1983 as it was not profitable, and demolished a few years later. Rare Malts releases from Glen Mhor are some of the few official bottlings from the distillery. 

Released at a natural cask strength of 61.0%.

Glenmorangie Sonnalta PX

Glenmorangie Sonnalta PX is the first of the distillery's Private Collection bottlings.

Sonnalta PX has been finished in casks formerly containing Pedro Ximenez.

Glenrothes 1997 Whisky Agency 20 Year Old​

Distilled in 1997 and bottled in 2017 by The Whisky Agency in collaboration with The Whisky Exchange.

Matured in a single ex-Sherry butt.
