Yamazaki 35 Year Old

This very rare 35 year old whisky was distilled between 1966 and 1970 before being bottled in 2006. The spirit was matured in special 90 litre Spanish second fill sherry casks.

This is one of the oldest expressions of Yamazaki ever bottled, and is presented in a stunning hard wooden case.

The town of Yamazaki was chosen to be the site of Japan’s first commercial distillery due to its very ‘Scottish’ climate and with it being an area where three rivers converge. The distillery was established in 1923 by Shinjiro Torii, the father of Japanese whisky. The first spirit ran from the stills in 1924, on 11th November at 11:11am.

Yamazaki 25 Year Old / Bill Amberg Case

As we all know, Yamazaki has ascended into the position of one of the most desirable and sought after whiskies in the world.

This 25 year old is matured exclusively in the finest Oloroso sherry casks and is bottle number 15493.

This bottle is presented in a special case designed by Bill Amberg, the world famous leather craftsmen. The leather case includes 25 stitches to represent each year of the whisky's maturation. 

The case is one of only 100 produced. 

Yamazaki 1984 Owner's Cask #WM0027 / Union 50th Anniversary

Single cask Yamazaki's are very rare and hard to find these days.

This single cask was distilled in 1984 and matured in sherry butt #WM0027 until bottling in 2008. 

The bottle was released for the UNION company who were celebrating their 50th anniversary.

The second bottling of Yamazaki from the Scotch Malt Whisky Society, bottled in June 2003. 

This was distilled in 1979 and was bottled at cask strength, as always.

Yamazaki 25 Year Old Limited Edition

A limited edition of around 100 bottles celebrating Japanese hospitality. This whisky has been matured for 25 years in the finest Oloroso sherry casks.

This limited edition bottling is decorated with a five-cord 'Mizuhiki', which symbolises the joining of hands and hearts of the giver and recipient. 

Yamazaki 1980 Single Cask #SJ1367 / White Oak Sherry Butt

A vintage release from The Cask of Yamazaki series by Suntory.

This was distilled at Yamazaki in 1980 and maturedin a single white oak sherry butt for 22 years.

Bottled form cask #SJ1367 in November 2002.

Yamazaki 1990 Single Cask #ON70645 / Sherry Butt

Distilled Febuary 1990 and matured until June 2008.

Matured in cask number ON70645 which was a Spanish oak sherry butt that was aged in Ohmi Aging Cellar location 3-N-4-5.

Glenfarclas 1967 Single Cask / 50th Anniversary of Lisbon Lions

A special single cask release of Glenfarclas, distilled in 1967 and bottled to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Lisbon Lions side that won the European Cup for Celtic FC in 1967. 

Bottle number 2 of only 67.

So few whiskies of this age are available these days, even Glenfarclas has no whisky remaining older than 1953. The whisky was distilled on 20th November 1953 and bottled on 13th February 2012, matured exclusively in a first fill sherry butt #1674.

A panel comprising of whisky connoisseur and a key member of the internationally renowned Malt Maniacs, Serge Valentin, along with Sales Director for Master of Malt, Ben Ellefsen, Michał Kowalski of Wealth Solutions and George Grant himself, unanimously made the selection from the remaining 4 casks distilled in 1953 and cask #1674 was selected to be bottled.

This single cask bottling was released at 58 years old and sold exclusively through Wealth Solutions, Poland.

This is one of the older releases in the Family Cask range by Glenfarclas. This Spring 2015 release was distilled in 1955 and bottled from a single sherry butt #2216.

A stunning bottle of Glenrothes which was distilled way back in 1932.

The liquid was bottled 42 years later in 1974 by the Highland Distilleries Co.

Glenfarclas 1965 Family Cask #3861 / 1st Release

Bottled as part of the first release of Glenfarclas Family Cask, perhaps the most extensive collection of vintage whiskies from a single distillery.

This 1965 vintage was bottled on the 27th February 2007 from single sherry butt #3861 yielding 417 bottles.

Glenfiddich 40 Year Old Rare Collection 75cl / US Import

A fantastic 40 year old single malt produced by Glenfiddich.

Selected by Glenfiddich's Malt Master, who hand selects individual casks before marrying them together with what was left over from the previous 40 Year Old vatting; a process known as ‘remnant vatting’. Glenfiddich claim to be the only distillery to use such a process.

Bottled in 2007, this is bottle number 17 of 500. 

Presented in a lockable wooden box with key included.

Single cask Yamazaki are very rare and hard to find these days, particularly those with such a dark rich colour.

A single cask distilled in Japan in 1995 and matured in a single sherry butt #5J3020 until bottled exclusively for La Maison Du Whisky in 2010.

Glenfarclas 1953 & Karuizawa 1964 Miniatures / Wealth Solutions 5cl Twin Pack

Both released exclusively for Wealth Solutions in Poland.

The Glenfarclas was distilled in November 1953 and bottled in February 2012 at 47.2%, after being aged for an impressive 58 years in a single first fill sherry butt, cask number #1674.

The Karuizawa was distilled in September 1964, matured in sherry cask number #3603 before being bottled in December 2012 at 57.7%. 

The set also includes a CD ROM and a book to celebrate the Glenfarclas.

An 18 year old malt from the oldest whisky distillery in Japan. In order to create the expression, Suntory’s chief blender Shinji Fukuyo tasted a hundreds of mizunara-matured whiskies and selected casks with varying ages.

Mizunara oak is incredibly rare.
