North Port 1964 Cadenhead's 15 Year Old

As Scotland’s oldest independent bottler, Cadenhead’s have long been known for releasing stunning whiskies but none more so than those from their famous ‘dumpy’ series, which features some incredible 1950s and 60s vintages.  Whisky from this bygone era of production have become increasingly elusive in recent years, making them exceptionally desirable. 

This North Port was distilled in February 1964 and bottled in May 1979

North Port 1978 SMWS 74.1

Distilled in March 1978 and bottled in September 1989, this is from the closed distillery North Port also known as Brechin. 

North British 1959 Signatory Vintage 51 Year Old​

A single cask North British released by Signatory Vintage.

Distilled 21st December 1959 and bottled on 31st January 2011 from a single cask  #67876.

Elmer T. Lee Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Bourbon / Commemorative Bottling​

This whisky is named after the legendary Elmer T. Lee, 1919-2013, who was hired in 1949 by Col. Albert B. Blanton to work at Buffalo Trace. (At the time named George T. Stagg Distillery!)

Starting from the bottom he worked his way up to Master Distiller, before retiring in 1985. He passed away in 2013 aged 93.

This is the special edition 2013 commemorative release of the single barrel sour mash Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey. 

Eagle Rare 10 Year Old 101 Proof 1980s

A late 1980s bottling of 101 proof bourbon, bottled by the Old Prentice Company in New Orleans.

Interestingly, Old Prentice Distillery (now Four Roses) is based in Frankfort, Kentucky, meaning this is likely one of the first Eagle Rare to be bottled by the Sazerac company following their purchase of the brand in 1989.

North Port 1979 Rare Malt 20 Year Old / 61.2%

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

This North Port was distilled in 1979 and bottled 20 years later in October 1999.

Enmore 1987 Full Proof Demerara Rum / Velier Import

Pot still rum from Enmore, distilled in 1987 and bottled from special casks #193-197.

Bottled by Dutch company Breitenstein Produkten BV for Italian importers, Velier in November 2000.

The 23 year old single barrel Elijah Craig was matured in a single charred oak barrel.

Barrelled on 21st April 1990 at the old Heaven Hill distillery.

Barrel number 153.

Released in very limited quantities.

Nikka Whisky From The Barrel 3 Litre / 80th Anniversary Gift Set​

A Nikka blend that netted 2 World Whisky Awards.

A highly recommended cask strength blend. This 3 litre bottle was released for the 80th anniversary of Nikka and includes a display stand and giant pipette for drawing whisky from the giant bottle.

Nikka Coffey Grain 1999 SMWS 14 Year Old G11.1

Distilled on the first of December 1999 and matured in a recharred hogshead.

The Eagle Rare brand nowadays is produced at Buffalo Trace after it was sold to the Sazerac company a few years after this was bottled.

Barrelled on 30th November 1989 at the old Heaven Hill distillery.

Starting from the bottom he worked his way up to Master Distiller, before retiring in 1985. He passed away in 2013 aged 93.

Thisis an erly version of the Elmer T. Lee when the bottles were still sealed with wax.

This single barrel release was exclusively selected and bottled for Binnys Beverage Depot.

Nathan Stone's Private Stock 105 Proof / Japanese Exclusive 

A very rare bourbon produced exclusively for the Japanese market.

Nathan Stone's was selected and bottled by Julian Van Winkle III in 1992, presented in original box and velvet bag. Although nothing has been officially stated, Van Winkle is said to have confirmed the source of this whiskey to be old Heaven Hill, aged around 4 years.

Eden Mill Single Malt Hip Flask Series 6 x 20cl​

Although only new, Eden Mill is a distillery steeped in distilling history. Situated on the banks of the Eden Estuary, just outside the beautiful town of St. Andrews, the distillery occupies a site formerly owned and operated by the Haig family for most of the 19th century. Haig's moved their business to the familiar Markinch address in 1882, converting the buildings into a brewery and paper mill instead. The brewery closed just 20 years later and the paper mill operated until 2008. Then, Eden Mill was born.

In 2012, Eden Mill became St Andrews first brewery since 1902, and Scotland's first ever combined brewing and distillery complex in 2014 when the plan was hatched and set into motion, to produce their first malt whisky. As we all know, the art of whisky production is a game of patience, and as their first ever malt distillate lay resting for the requisite 3 years to become malt whisky, the distillery made quite a name for itself in the Gin world. With three copper stills and as many years on their hands, Eden Mill produced boundary-pushing gin, infusing everything from beer hops to old golf clubs, creating a brand that has become a bar gantry staple and home cabinet favourite. Now however, the wait is over and the it is time for their whisky to take centre stage.

The first whiskies produced in St. Andrews for over 150 years, theses elegantly packaged 20cl glass \"hip flask\" bottles have been distilled using a variety of malt types, and matured in a variety of different casks.

Nine Leaves 2014 Encrypted Single Cask 3 Year Old Rum / Velier 70th Anniversary

A special barrel proof release from Japan's Nine Leaves rum distillery. Entitled \"Encrypted,\" this rum was distilled in 2014 and bottled at 3 years old in 2017 from cask #3.

This special edition bottling was for the 70th anniversary of reknowned Italian importers Velier.

Edradour 1976 Signatory Vintage 23 Year Old

An 'official/independant' bottling by Signatory Vintage, the owners of Edradour.

Distilled on the 12th of May 1976 and bottled on the 22nd of June 2000.

Cask #142, this is bottle number 24 of 260.

North Port / Brechin 1981 Gordon and MacPhail

Mothballed in 1983 and demolished in 1990, the site of North Port now houses a Supermarket. 

North Port is quickly becoming scarce, this 1981 release from Gordon and MacPhail was bottled in 2004.

Elijah Craig 18 Year Old Single Barrel

This 18 year old single barrel Elijah Craig was matured in a single charred oak barrel.

Barreled on 25th of July 1997 from barrel #4146.

The Elijah Craig brand is produced by Heaven Hill, and this single barrel originates from an unusual period between 1996 when the old ditillery burned down, and 1999 when the current distillery at Bernheim was purchased. Heaven Hill survived during this period by procuriung barrels from Brown Forman and Jim Beam, and this was likely one of those.

North British 1989 Carn Mor

Single grain whisky distilled in Edinburgh on the 27th June 1989 then bottled from single sherry hogshead #40328 on the 31st March 2014 by Carn Mor at cask strength.

Edradour 2003 PTM Single Cask 14 Year Old / ex-Port Ellen Cask

This 2003 vintage Edradour PTM ('peated through maturation') is unpeated spirit aged in casks previously containing peated whisky.

This was matured in ex-Port Ellen cask #149, and bottled at 14 years old in 2017.

One of only 193 bottles.
