Dalwhinnie 1987 Cask Strength 25 Year Old

Released within Diageo's 2012 Special Releases.

Distilled in 1987, matured in American Oak casks and bottled in 2012.

This release was limited to 5358 bottles.

Dalmore King Alexander III

Crafted to honour the act of saving Scotland’s king in 1263, this expression unites six specially selected casks housing spirit of perfect maturity. Whiskies matured in ex-bourbon casks, Matusalem oloroso sherry wood, Madeira barrels, Marsala casks, port pipes and Cabernet Sauvignon wine barriques are all brought together. 

Araside 2010 Whisky House Japenese Blended Malt

A curious bottle of whisky distilled in Japan and matured in Scotland by Duncan Taylor for The Whisky House.

The liquid was distilled in April 2010 and bottled in 2017. Aged in a European hogshead cask, this bottle is limited to one of only 312.

Ardbeg Grooves Committee Release​

The 2018 committee release from Ardbeg. This has been matured in heavily charred casks (presenting a grooved surface, hence the name).

Totally groovy and totally not the same thing as the Alligator...

Ardbeg Blasda

This tamed version of Ardbeg was peated to an average of 8ppm compared to the more usual 24ppm. Rather controversially, the Blasda was also bottled in clear glass, at 40% and has been chill filtered, un-like Ardbeg's other releases which are typically un-chillfiltered and bottled in the iconic green bottle at 46% or above.

Now discontinued and becoming increasingly difficult to find.

Dalmore Cigar Malt / Pre-2009

The well-known Dalmore Cigar Malt and one of the original releases prior to being discontinued in 2009.

This eventually returned to the range in the form of Dalmore Cigar Malt Reserve.

Daftmill 2006 Winter Batch Release 2018 / UK Batch

Daftmill was granted a license to begin producing spirit in 2005, and had not bottled a single drop of that first distillate until 2018 when it produced just 629 bottles of its inaugural release.

Daftmill is a farm distillery, owned and run by the Cuthbert family, who grow all of the barley used in their whisky on-site. The distillery is only operational during the farm's quiet periods in mid-summer and mid-winter, sometimes producing as few as 100 casks per year. 

This is the distillery's third ever offering from its inaugural release year, a 2006 single vintage bottling of 6 casks. The spirit matured for nearly 12 years in ex-bourbon casks from Heaven Hill Bernheim distillery in Louisville, Kentucky.

The UK batch consists of 1625 bottles, drawn from casks #080/2006 through #085/2006.

An export batch was also produced from a different set of 6 casks.

Dallas Dhu 1977 First Cask 20 Year Old

This is bottled by Direct Wines as part of their extensive First Cask collection. 

Distilled on the 20th May 1977 at the closed Speyside distillery, Dallas Dhu and matured in cask #1115. 

Bottle number 276. 

Auchentoshan 1994 Whisky Agency 21 Year Old / Three Rivers

An indpendent bottling from Lowland distillery, Auchentoshan.

Distilled in 1994, matured in a hogshead and bottled in 2016 for The Whisky Agency and Three Rivers bar in Tokyo. 

One of 185 bottles. 

Ardbeg 2005 SMWS 7 Year Old 33.131

\"The Mad Scientish on the Dockside\"

A young Ardbeg distilled on the 20th December 2005and matured in a 2nd fill ex-sherry butt. 

One of 679 bottles filled by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society.

Ardbeg 1998 Renaissance 

The conclusion of Ardbeg's 'Peaty Path to Maturity', distilled in 1998 and bottled as a celebration for Ardbeg reaching 10 years old following the rebirth of the distillery in the hands of Glenmorangie PLC.

Ardbeg Kildalton 2014

This Ardbeg was released in connection with the North Highland Initiative (NHI) a charity which helps rural communities across the Northern Highlands.

Elegantly packaged, it is a combination of first fill and refill ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks.  Please do not mistake this Kildalton for that which was released in 2004, 10 years previously.

Dalmore 1996 Malts of Scotland Sherry Hogshead

A 1996 distilled Dalmore matured in a single sherry hogshead #17003 until 2017.

One of 225 bottles. 

Dufftown 15 Year Old Flora and Fauna

This Flora and Fauna 15 year old Dufftown has been discontinued for a number of years and has since been replaced by 'The Singleton of Dufftown' range of whiskies.

Distillers Company Ltd (DCL/Diageo) created the Flora and Fauna series in the early 1990s.

Dumbarton 1962 Cadenhead's 32 Year Old

An Authentic Collection release from Cadenhead's. Distilled in 1962 at the now closed Dumbarton distillery.

Bottled in February 1994 at 32 years old from a single bourbon hogshead.

Ardbeg Kildalton 2014

Released in 2015 to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the legendary Islay distillery.

This is the high strength version which was only available at the distillery to Ardbeg Committee Members.

Perpetuum is a blend of old and young whisky which has been matured in both Bourbon and Sherry casks.

Arran White Stag Fourth Release

The fourth release exclusive to Arran's online community, the White Stag.  

Specially selected by a tasting panel of 20 members of the White Stag, these bottlings are always eagerly awaited, selling out online incredibly quickly!  

The fourth release is a small batch 10 years old drawn from four ex-bourbon barrels.

Ardbeg Dark Cove

The Feis Ile release for 2016, this was matured in ex-Bourbon casks with a heart matured in dark sherry casks. 

The style has been inspired by the history of illicit distilling on the Island of Islay. Many islanders were involved in this activity, including Allan and Alexander the uncles of John McDougall founder of Ardbeg distillery. 

This is the general release, a more available lower ABV edition launched for Ardbeg Day/Night.

An independent bottling of Auchroisk by Direct Wines, part of their First Cask series.

Distilled on the 5th of September 1979 and matured for 26 years.
