Ardnamurchan Spirit 2018/AD Limited Release No.3

This is the third release of matured new make spirit from Adelphi's Ardnamurchan distillery, which is situated near Glenbeg on the far west of the Scottish mainland. 

New make spirit matured in 1st fill sherry casks (both Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez). 

Each bottle has a scannable QR code which reveals complete details of the spirit from barley to bottle.

One of 158 bottles filled in 2016.

Arran 1996 Single Bourbon Cask #1405

A single cask release from Arran distillery.

Distilled in their first year of production, 1996, and bottled in 2011 from bourbon cask 1405.

Number 34 of 181 cask strength bottles.

Aberlour A'Bunadh Batch #55

Aberlour A'Bunadh is produced in the tradition of 19th century single malts from an era when villagers would come to the distillery to collect their dram straight from the cask, often in apothecary bottles obtained from the village chemist. These bottles are the inspiration for the A'Bunadh bottle shape today.

A'Bunadh is bottled using only first fill Oloroso sherry butts, this is batch #55 released in 2015.

This was awarded 95.5% by Jim Murray in his 2016 book with the comment \"Ladies and Gentlemen of Aberlour, I raise my glass to you in celebration\".

Aberlour A'Bunadh Batch #51

Aberlour A'Bunadh is bottled at cask strength in the tradition of 19th century single malts when villagers would come to the distillery to collect their dram straight from the cask, often in apothecary bottles obtained from the village chemist. These were the inspiration for the A'Bunadh bottle shape today.

Bottled using only first fill Oloroso sherry butts, this is batch #51 and was released in 2015.

Arran 18 Year Old 

This recent release follows the success of Arran's 16 and 17 year old whiskies, released annually prior to this bottle.

Matured in ex-sherry casks and limited to 9,000 bottles.

An early release from Abhainn Dearg as the Spirit of Lewis Distilled on 10th February 2010 and bottled from cask #032010, this is bottle number 192 of 1,000.

Ardbeg Corryvreckan

Ardbeg Corryvreckan is named after the famous whirlpool off the northern tip of Jura.

This expression joined the Ardbeg 10 year old and Uigeadail as an ongoing product, replacing the Airgh Nam Beist. This Ardbeg was matured in predominantly French oak casks and ex-bourbon American oak casks.

A bitter menthol liqueur produced during the 1960s in Milan, Italy.

Ardbeg & Craigellachie Douglas Laing Double Barrel

A blended malt produced using two casks of whisky, one from Ardbeg, and another from Craigellachie.

These are then married together in a single cask.

Ardmore 1996 20 Year Old​ / Bourbon and Islay Cask 

A single vintage bottling of Ardmore, a marriage of first fill bourbon and ex-Islay cask matured whisky. 

Given that Laphroaig supplied the quarter casks for the now discontinued Traditional, it's a safe bet they contributed the casks for this too. 

Ardnamurchan 1 Year Old Spirit Warehouse Release Batch #3

Independent bottler Adelphi have opened their own distillery. 

This is one of their first one year old bottles of new make spirit. The distillery is in Glenbeg on the far west of the Scottish mainland. 

The new make has been matured in 1st fill sherry casks (both Oloroso and PX Octaves) for over a year. 

Bottle on the 1st of September 2017.
