Linkwood 1983 A.D. Rattray 25 Year Old

An independent bottling of Linkwood from A.D. Rattray.

Re-established in 2002, the A.D. Rattray company is headed up by Stanley Walker Morrison, grandson of the Stanley P. Morrison who owned Bowmore distillery. The A.D. Rattray company came into the family through the marriage of Stanley to the daughter of William Walker, who's William Walker & Co had acquired the firm in 1920. When Beam Suntory acquired full ownership of the Morrison Bowmore in 1994, the family revived the A.D. Rattray name in order to find a new avenue back into the whisky trade. This is part of their Cask Collection range, which was launched in 2004.

Distilled in 1983 and bottled from hogshead #5711 in 2009.

Distilled on 16th October 1989, matured for 27 years in a bourbon hogshead, before being finished in a virgin oak hogshead and bottled at cask strength.

Despite there name The Scotch Malt Whisky Society do more than just Scotch Malt Whisky.

The exact distillery behind this Caribbean rum is still a tightly kept secret it seem but we can tell you it was distilled on the 31st of December 1991 in Trinidad, aged in a refill-barrel and bottled 25 years later.

Our monthly auctions end from 7:00 PM (UK local time) on the closing date. If a bid is placed after 7:00 PM on any lot, the entire auction will be extended by an additional two minutes. 

The auction will end once all bidding has ceased for two minutes. Based on previous auction activity, the auction will continue for several hours and is most likely to finish between 9pm - 11pm (UK local time).
