Glen Grant 1959 Gordon and MacPhail

This Glen Grant was distilled in 1959, and is one of a number of fantastic vintage offerings of Glen Grant by Gordon & MacPhail. 

This is part of the Gordon & MacPhail Distillery Labels series, which replicates the livery the Elgin-based bottlers used in the mid-20th century when they produced the only official bottlings (under license) for many distilleries like this.

Bottled in 1996.

Glen Garioch 1970 27 Year Old Single Cask #256

An older 27 year old bottling of Glen Garioch, distilled on 29th May 1970, this is bound to be an amazing whisky from this relatively unknown highland distillery.

Matured in single hogshead cask number 256 and realised for the US market.

Glenesk 1981 Jack Wiebers 20 Year Old

A rare bottling from the closed distillery Glenesk, distilled in 1981 and matured in dark sherry cask #571 before bottling at 20 years old.

One of 160 bottles.

Glenfarclas 1974 Family Malt Collection 

Distilled in 1974 and bottled in September 2001, this is a full-bodied Glenfarclas which was released for the Spanish market. 

Part of the distilleries Family Malt Collection. 

Glenlivet 1954 15 Year Old / Baretto Import

An older bottling of Glenlivet for the Italian market, distilled back in 1954.

Officially imported by the Baretto brothers for Italy.

Glen Grant 38 Year Old Gordon and MacPhail 1970s​

A Glen Grant bottled at 38 years old in the 1970's by Elgin based bottler Gordon & MacPhail.

Glass code SC 803 was produced 1976-79 which indicates that this particular bottle may contain whisky distilled at Glen Grant in the late 1920s or early 1930s!

Glenrothes 1969 Duncan Taylor 40 Year Old

Distilled in July 1969 and bottled April 2010 by Duncan Taylor.

One of only 101 bottles drawn from single cask 12884.

Glen Grant 1972 Whisky Agency 39 Year Old / Perfect Dram

The Perfect Dram is a series of independent bottlings produced for the Whisky Agency in Germany.

Distilled in 1972 in Speyside at the Glen Grant distillery, this was bottled at 39 years old in 2011 at Spirits in the Sky Leuven.

One of 119 bottles filled at cask strength from an ex-sherry cask.

Glenfarclas 1970 Cask Strength Single Cask

Matured exclusively in Sherry Cask # 2018 after being distilled on the 16th March 1970. Bottled on the 23rd March 1999 at cask strength making this a 29 year old, albeit just by a couple of days.

Glen Keith 1971 Duncan Taylor 33 Year Old

An independent bottle from Glen Keith distillery bottled in January 2005 by Huntley's own Duncan Taylor.

Distilled in December 1971 and aged for 33 years in a single Sherry cask 8066.

One of 531 bottles.

Glen Grant 1962 Murray McDavid 34 Year Old

This sumptuous looking Glen Grant was distilled in 1962 and bottled by Murray McDavid.

Bottled from single cask #4115 after 34 years.

Glen Grant 1969 Samaroli 9 Year Old Sherry Wood  / Cadenhead's 1979

This legendary bottling company was established in 1968 by Silvano Samaroli, in Bologna, Italy.

Silvano Samaroli began his career in the whisky industry as an importer in 1968, operating as the Italian agent for Speyside's Linkwood distillery. This 1979 bottling of Glen Grant is part of his first foray into the independent bottling scene. The series comprises of two Springbank, as well as a Macallan, Highland Park and Glenlivet, among others. They were bottled for him by Cadenhead's, in the classic brown dumpy glass of the era, using unique labels that Samaroli had designed himself.

Glen Mhor 1974 Sestante 13 Year Old

A 13 year old expression from the long closed Highland distillery, Glen Mhor. Bottled by the legendary Italian importers, Sestante.

The Sestante import company was founded in the 1970s by Ernesto Mainardi, and he bottled his first single casks under the name in 1985. Alongside his contemporary, Silvano Samaroli, Mainardi pioneered giving his customers a choice of both standard 40-46% bottlings, and cask strength releases from the same casks. Along with his other brand, Silver Seal, Mainardi's bottlings are incredibly sought after.

This was bottled in 1987 at cask strength, and is one of several from the distillery that Mainardi bottled in the 1980s.

Glen Albyn 1979 SMWS 25 Year Old 69.8

A stunning bottle of Glen Albyn distilled in July 1979 and bottled in January 2005 by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society.

Glenmorangie 1989 Grand Vintage / Bond House No.1 Collection

A spectacular Glenmorangie, part of their Bond House No.1 Collection which is a series of releases from Glenmorangie's original 19th century warehouse. Bond House No.1 was transformed into the distillery's Stillhouse in order to increase production capacity the year after this was distilled, making it one of the final vintages to be warhoused there.

This is a vatting of several 1989 vintages, blended by Glenmorangie's Dr. Bill Lumsden and finished in Cote-de-Rotie casks before being bottles in this stunning decanter bottle in 2017.

Number 2244 of 6178 bottles.

Bottled from casks specially selected by George S. Grant, Director of Sales and the sixth generation of the family who own and manage the distillery.

A fantastic whisky from one of Scotland's last independents.

Glendronach Grandeur 25 Year Old Batch #008

The eighth release within the Grandeur series from Glendronach, matured in Oloroso sherry casks and bottled at cask strength.

Berry Brothers and Rudd 1906 Grand Champagne Cognac

A very impressive vintage Grande Champagne Cognac from renowned wine merchants, Berry Brothers and Rudd.

Distilled in 1906 from grapes grown exclusively in the premium vineyards of the Grande Champagne district, in 1967 the spirit was shipped to BBR's cellars in England where maturation continued for a further 10 years before bottling in 1977.

Glendronach Grandeur 27 Year Old Batch #010

The tenth release within the Grandeur series from Glendronach, matured this time in a mixture of Pedro Ximenez  and Oloroso sherry casks. Bottled at cask strength.

Glenfarclas 1953 Single Cask 58 Year Old Miniature 5cl / Wealth Solutions

So few whiskies of this age are available these days, even Glenfarclas has no whisky remaining older than 1953. The whisky was distilled on 20th November 1953 and bottled on 13th February 2012, matured exclusively in a first fill sherry butt #1674.

A panel comprising of whisky connoisseur and a key member of the internationally renowned Malt Maniacs, Serge Valentin, along with Sales Director for Master of Malt, Ben Ellefsen, Michał Kowalski of Wealth Solutions and George Grant himself, unanimously made the selection from the remaining 4 casks distilled in 1953 and cask #1674 was selected to be bottled.

This single cask bottling was released at 58 years old and sold exclusively through Wealth Solutions, Poland.
