A rare Tomintoul, distilled on in 1976 and bottled in 2007. This is a single vintage distillery bottling, comprised of several American oak casks.

Presented in a cream box with purple tartan.

Aberfeldy 1999 Hand Filled Cask #20658

A sumptuously dark single cask hand filled bottling from Aberfeldy distillery.

Distilled in 1999 and bottled by hand at the distillery from cask #20658 on 10th December 2018.

Rare single cask Tomintoul, distilled in January 1976. Bottled at a serious 62.6%.

Talisker 1986 Distillers Edition / First release 

The earliest issue of this Double matured series from the Isle of Skye, finished in Jerez Amoroso cask-wood.

Distilled 1986 and bottled 1999.

Araside 2010 Whisky House Japenese Blended Malt

A curious bottle of whisky distilled in Japan and matured in Scotland by Duncan Taylor for The Whisky House.

The liquid was distilled in April 2010 and bottled in 2017. Aged in a European hogshead cask, this bottle is limited to one of only 312.

Ardbeg Blasda

This tamed version of Ardbeg was peated to an average of 8ppm compared to the more usual 24ppm. Rather controversially, the Blasda was also bottled in clear glass, at 40% and has been chill filtered, un-like Ardbeg's other releases which are typically un-chillfiltered and bottled in the iconic green bottle at 46% or above.

Now discontinued and becoming increasingly difficult to find.

Tamdhu 1988 Hunter Laing 30 Year Old

An independent 30 year old bottling of Tamdhu from Hunter Laing's Old and Rare range.

Matured in a sherry butt this is one of 184 bottles.

Auchentoshan 1994 Whisky Agency 21 Year Old / Three Rivers

An indpendent bottling from Lowland distillery, Auchentoshan.

Distilled in 1994, matured in a hogshead and bottled in 2016 for The Whisky Agency and Three Rivers bar in Tokyo. 

One of 185 bottles.

A young Ardbeg distilled on the 20th December 2005and matured in a 2nd fill ex-sherry butt. 

One of 679 bottles filled by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society.

The conclusion of Ardbeg's 'Peaty Path to Maturity', distilled in 1998 and bottled as a celebration for Ardbeg reaching 10 years old following the rebirth of the distillery in the hands of Glenmorangie PLC.

A 2018 Travel Retail Exclusive Tamdhu aged exclusively in first fill Oloroso casks.

Ardbeg Kildalton 2014

This Ardbeg was released in connection with the North Highland Initiative (NHI) a charity which helps rural communities across the Northern Highlands.

Elegantly packaged, it is a combination of first fill and refill ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks.  Please do not mistake this Kildalton for that which was released in 2004, 10 years previously. 

Please note that the inner packaging is very fragile and cracking could occur in transit, Whisky Auctioneer takes no resposibility for this issue.

The Dark Side of Islay 21 Year Old Malts of Scotland Blended Malt

In what seems to be a right of passage for indy bottlers these days, Scarabus is a blended Islay malt from Malts of Scotland.

Aged in a combination of sherry, port and wine casks for 21 years and sharing a name with the third and final studio album of British jazz-rock fusion act, Ian Gillan Band, Scarabus declares itself to be \"The Dark Side of Islay\" which is very nearly the name of a Pink Floyd album.

One of 1254 bottles.

Ardbeg Perpetuum Distillery Release

Released in 2015 to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the legendary Islay distillery.

This is the high strength version which was only available at the distillery to Ardbeg Committee Members.

Perpetuum is a blend of old and young whisky which has been matured in both Bourbon and Sherry casks.

Ardbeg Dark Cove

The Feis Ile release for 2016, this was matured in ex-Bourbon casks with a heart matured in dark sherry casks. 

The style has been inspired by the history of illicit distilling on the Island of Islay. Many islanders were involved in this activity, including Allan and Alexander the uncles of John McDougall founder of Ardbeg distillery. 

This is the general release, a more available lower ABV edition launched for Ardbeg Day/Night.

Drum is a an ex-bourbon cask matured Ardbeg which has been finished in ex-rum casks from \"the Americas.\" The flavours are intended to evoke the \"rumbustious revelry\" that the distillery believes goes hand in hand with Ardbeg Day.

The bottle is peppered with additional small labels which feature tasting notes, including ripe banana, briny notes and pineapple.

An independent bottling of Auchroisk by Direct Wines, part of their First Cask series.

Distilled on the 5th of September 1979 and matured for 26 years.

The Ardbeg committee release for 2017, this has been matured in virgin casks crafted from oak grown on land in the Adyghe Republic - a Russian federal subject just north of Georgia, on the northeast coast of the Black Sea.

Teeling 21 Year Old Silver Bottling Vintage Reserve

A 21 year old single malt whisky bottled by Teeling. 

Teeling was the first whiskey distillery to open in Dublin for 125 years when it was established in 2015. The distillery bottled its first whiskey in 2018 they sourced casks from their former distillery, Cooley.

One of only 5000 bottles.
