Macallan Chairman's Release

This is the jewel of the 1700 series, Macallan: the \"Chairman's Release,\". Bottled for the Chinese market, the back label is in the Chinese language. Released in 2001 this is a rarity and must have for Macallan enthusiasts. 

Macallan 1971 Speymalt Gordon and Macphail

Another fantastic example of old Macallan bottled by Gordon and Macphail.

Distilled in 1971 and bottled in 2009.

Macallan 1990 Dambusters 12 Year Old / 1st Edition

A limited edition independent bottling of Macallan distilled on 9th April 1990 and bottled from single cask #25983 on 10th of February 2003.

Bottle number 22 of 96, this first edition was specially bottled to commemorate 617 Squadrons 60th Year 1943 - 2003

Apres Moi Le Deluge / After me the Flood. 

Macallan 1962 Samaroli 17 Year Old / Original 1979 Release

This legendary bottling company was established in 1968 by Silvano Samaroli, Bologna, Italy.

Samaroli has produced hundreds if not thousands of single cask independantly bottled whiskies, many of which are highly acclaimed.  This is an iconic bottling from the first release under the Samaroli name, in 1979.  These bottles are all numbered and rarely ever seen at auction.

This is one of six bottlings from this famous collection, currently under the hammer in our March 2016 auction.

Macallan 1989 Exceptional Cask #552 

This is the fifth release in the Exceptional cask range. 

Distilled in January 1989, matured in Oloroso sherry butt number 552 then bottled in November 2003. 

The box is signed by Macallan Master distiller Bob Dalgarno. 

Please note the rust on the lid. 

Macallan 1990 Exceptional Cask #24680

This is the forth release in the Exceptional cask range. 

Distilled in December 1990, matured in sherry butt number 24680 then bottled in Jauary 2003. 

Jim Murray's Whisky Bible 2004 described this bottle as \" For this, Unquestionably, is the greatest Macallan of them all \"

Macallan 1990 The Gulf Buccaneer Single Cask 12 Year Old 

A limited edition independent bottling of Macallan distilled on 9th April 1990 and bottled from single cask #25981 on the 24th of June 2002.

Bottle number 11 of 96.

Mortlach 1957 Samaroli 22 Year Old / Original 1979 Release

William L Weller 2015 Release

Released within the famous and eagerly awaited Buffalo Trace Antique Selection. 

William L Weller bottlings tend to contain whiskey aged for approximately 10 to 14 years old. In recent years the William Weller bottlings are increasingly harder to get hold of.

Bottled at 67.3% 

Macallan 10 Year Old New Club Elgin 1980s

A 75cl bottle of Macallan 10 year old sherry cask with the old white packaging showing Easter Elchies House.

This is bottle was specially labelled for members of The New Club Elgin.

Macallan 11 Year Old Seasonal Selection

The Easter Elchies Seasonal Selection dates from 2005-2007 before the season aspects of the bottlings were removed.  

This \"Autumn\" was distilled in 1995 then matured in sherry hogshead number 9457, which produced a total of 285 bottles. 

Macallan 1989 18 Year Old 

Distilled in 1989 and bottled in 2007.

This bottle was released for the Taiwanese market.

Distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2008.

This was released for the Taiwanese market.

The distillery staff have confirmed that the liquid is 12 years old, Sherry Cask matured and limited 2000 bottles. Although none of these are stated on the packaging. 

This is the first in a range of whiskies recreating the old advertising styles of Macallan, this imitating an advertisement from the 1980s and early 1990s.

Presented with a  a book and USB stick all presented in a beautifully designed book-shaped tin.

Release of folio 2 is scheduled for April 2016.

A new Rare Cask created from the 'Dark, Mysterious Warehouses' of the The Macallan Distillery.

This is a one-off relatively small release of less than 100 casks, predominantly first fill sherry casks of European and American oak.

With a touch of smoke, the Rare Cask Black contains whisky from peat spirit produced at Macallan.

This new Macallan was released exclusive to Global Travel Retail.

Millburn 1966 Gordon and Macphail

A bottling of Millburn distilled in 1966 and bottled 16 years later.

The distillery closed in 1985.

Macallan 10 Year Old Cask Strength 1 Litre

A 1 litre bottle of the discontinued and much loved cask strength 10 year old Macallan.

Macallan 1985 SMWS 29 Year Old 24.128

A single cask Macallan from the Scotch Malt Whisky Society. Distilled on the 25th of April 1985.

One of 209 bottles.

Midleton Very Rare 1997 Edition 

This famous blend of whiskies was produced by Jameson's Master Distiller, Barry Crockett. Midleton Very Rare was released in very limited quantities on an annual basis since 1984, until 2012 when it was replaced by the equally desirable and acclaimed Midleton Barry Crockett Legacy.

The whiskey is aged somewhere between 12 and 25 years and matured solely in Bourbon casks.  Each bottle carries a signature from Barry Crocket and has an individual bottle number, this particular bottle is #16373.

Macallan 1991 18 Year Old 

Distilled in 1991 and bottled in 2009.

This bottle was released for the Taiwanese market. 

Miyagikyo 2002 Single Cask #101127

Miyagikio is made from four different types of malt whiskies distilled at Nikka's Miyagikyo distillery.

Distilled in 2002 and bottled in 2012 from a refill butt.

Macallan 1978 Douglas Laing 25 Year Old

Two bottles of independantly bottled Macallan from Douglas Laing.

Bottled within their Old Malt Cask selection, they were distilled in October 1978 and bottled in August 2005.

Only 230 bottles were produced.
