Glenfiddich 50 Year Old

This famous bottling of Glenfiddich was bottled in 1991 and limited to an incredible 500 bottles, in the early 1990s one of these bottles was auctioned for charity and officially became the most expensive bottle of whisky ever sold at auction. selling for 99,999,99 Lira in an Italian charity auction.

The release was restricted to only nine casks laid down originally in the 1930s, one cask was laid down for each of William Grant's nine children, who helped to build Glenfiddich distillery in the 1880s.  After laying undisturbed, these nine casks were bottled on 26th July 1991 and presented in a hand made oak box with a brass plaque.

Each bottle was signed by Alexander Grant Gordon the former Chairman and great grandson of the companies founder and is presented with a certificate and an appointment as a Freeman of Glenfiddich distillery.

Glenfarclas 1953 Single Cask 58 Year Old

So few whiskies of this age are available these days, even Glenfarclas has no whisky remaining older than 1953. The whisky was distilled on 20th November 1953 and bottled on 13th February 2012, matured exclusively in a first fill sherry butt #1674.

A panel comprising of Serge Valentin, a whisky connoisseur and a key member of the internationally renowned Malt Maniacs, Ben Ellefsen, Sales Director for Master of Malt, Michał Kowalski of Wealth Solutions and George Grant himself, unanimously made the selection from the remaining 4 casks distilled in 1953 and cask #1674 was selected to be bottled.

This single cask bottling was released at 58 years old and sold exclusively through the Wealth Solutions, Poland.

Glenfarclas 50 Year Old / John Grant's Birth Bicentenary

A incredibly special bottle of Glenfarclas, selected by George Grant to celebrate the bi-centenary of the distillery's founder, and his great, great, great, great Grandfather, John Grant.

Only 110 were produced of this 50 Year Old, which comes in an attractive presentation box with certificate / scroll.

Glenury Royal 1953 50 Year Old

There are very few official bottling of this rare highland malt, which closed its doors for the last time in 1985.

This spectacular sherried 1953 vintage Glenury was bottled as a 50 Year old.

Glenfiddich 30 Year Old Silver Stag's Head Decanter

An 1980s bottling of Glenfiddich 30 Year Old in a crystal decanter. There is also a stopper with a hallmarked solid silver stags head. 

A very elegant and ornate presentation that was ahead of its time.

Glenfiddich 1965 Vintage Reserve 35 Year Old

A very rare bottling of Glenfiddich exclusively bottled for the distillery.

Distilled in 1965 matured in cask # 10837.

This is bottle number 110.

Glendronach 1971 Single Cask 41 Year Old #1247

Distilled on 25th of Febuary 1971 and bottled in June 2012, this was fully matured in cask number 1247 which was a Pedro Ximinez Sherry Pucheon.

Glenfiddich 30 Year Old Silver Stag's Head Decanter

A Single Cask Glenfiddich 30 Year Old with crystal decanter and stopper resembling the famous Glenfiddich Stag in a Glenfiddich branded box.

The decanter and Stag's head are part of the 1980s original release, The Glenfiddich 30 Year Old if from within the last 10 years, Bottle No 0107 drawn from Cask 00029.

Glendronach 1971 Single Cask 39 Year Old

Distilled on 25th of Febuary 1971 and bottled in June 2010, this was fully matured in cask number 489 which was a Oloroso Sherry butt.

Glenfarclas 1962 Family Cask #2639 75cl / US Import

Bottled as part of the Glenfarclas Family Cask range of vintage whiskies.

This 1962 bottled was bottled on the 27th of May 2011 from sherry hogshead #2639 yielding 129 bottles.

Glenlochy 1969 Rare Malt 26 Year Old - B297 

A very rare bottling of Glenlochy from within the Rare Malts Selection and one of the rare bottles from the series.

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

Distilled in 1969 and bottled as a 26 year old,this is bottle number 0,447.

Glendronach 1955 Gordon and Macphail 23 Year Old

What a beauty!  As old a Glendronach as you can find.  This Gordon and Macphail bottling was distilled in 1955 and bottled 23 years later.

A very rare Glenfarclas bottled in their Historic Reserve collection, this is the original release No.1.

Bottled from casks #3232-3235, only 240 bottles were released.

A very rare single cask Glen Garioch bottled in the late 1990s as part of thei Distillery Archive series.

Distilled on 27th April 1968 and bottled 29 years later.

Matured in a single hogshead, cask #615.

Distilled in 1968 and then selected by Glenfarclas collector Luc Timmermans. When he couldnt decide on a single cask he got two vatted together. A first fill oloroso sherry hogsheadx and first fill fino sherry hogshead.

A stunning 1936 vintage Glen Grant bottled by Gordon and Macphail.

Pre-World War Two whiskies are incredibly hard to find these days.

Rumoured to be an exceptional Glenmorangie, this legendary malt was matured in bourbon casks prior to being finished in Cote de Nuit Burgundy Grand Cru casks.

Glenlivet 25 Year Old Royal Wedding 75cl

A 25 year old Glenlivet bottled for the Wedding of Charles and Dianna. Meaning this liquid would have been distilled back in the 1950s.

The fifth release within the Grandeur series from Glendronach, matured in Oloroso sherry casks and bottled at cask strength.

Glen Elgin 1965 Samaroli 14 Year Old / Original 1979 Release

This legendary bottling company was established in 1968 by Silvano Samaroli, Bologna, Italy.

Samaroli has produced hundreds if not thousands of single cask independantly bottled whiskies, many of which are highly acclaimed.  This is an iconic bottling from the first release under the Samaroli name, in 1979.  These bottles are all numbered and rarely ever seen at auction.

This is one of six bottlings from this famous collection, currently under the hammer in our March 2016 auction.

A rare official bottling of Glenugie distilled in December 1977 and bottled in March 2010 after being finished in Oloroso Sherry butt number 5 for 90 months.

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

One of the few official bottlings of Glenury Royal released at 29 years old within the famous Rare Malts Selection.  

Distilled in 1970 and bottled in the October 1999 out-turn.
