Ardbeg Provenance 1974 23 Year Old

The first release of  the legendary  Ardbeg Provenance bottlings, distilled in 1974 and matured for 23 years until being released in late 1997.

Matured in bourbon casks roughly 4,000 of this were released to the EU and Asia.

These whiskies are highly acclaimed and desirable, the bottle and box is in perfect condition, including certificate and tartan insert.

Bottle number 2213.

Ardbeg 21 Year Old (Committee Bottling)

12 casks were hand chosen to be released exclusively for the Ardbeg committee in 2001.

Matured in bourbon casks, only 2,500 bottles were produced and hand signed by Stuart Thomson.

Ardbeg Young Uigeadail (The Oogling)

TThe very desirable Ardbeg Oogling, only available to the Ardbeg Committee, with a very limited 1,392 bottles being released in 2006.

Three ex-bourbon hosghead of Very Young Ardbeg were married with one sherry butt distilled in 2002.

Glenmorangie Last Christmas in Leith

Only 250 bottles of this were produced and given to employees of Glenmorangie at their old premises at the foot of Leith Walk in 1995.

The company had used the premises in Leith since 1893.

Arran Peacock 'Icons of Arran'

The original Icon of Arran whisky, released in 2009 this quickly became a popular collectors/investors item.

Distilled in 1996, matured in sherry casks and bottled in 2009, only 6,000 were released.

Glenlivet 1964 Peter Dominic Ltd (26 2/3 fl oz)

A very unusual old and rare official bottle of Glenlivet, bottled for Peter Dominic Ltd.

Distilled in May 1964 and bottled February 1977, from casks 5118-5119, 2267-2268, 2946-2950.

26 2/3 fluid ounces and 70 proof

Glenmorangie 1974

Originally only available at duty free this Glenmorangie was distilled in 1974 and released in 1998.

Ardbeg 1998 Feis Ile 2011 Including Bag and Poster

Drawn from two Spanish Ex-Pedro Ximenez Sherry Butts this rare Ardbeg was released to mark the Islay Festival, Feis Ile in 2011.

This includes the poster and red bottle bag that was provided on Ardbeg Day at the Feis Ile.

Ardbeg Supernova Stellar Release

Following the incredibly popular committee release of Arbdeg Supernova, this commercial release sold out quickly as well.  

Ardbeg Supernova is the peatiest Ardbeg ever released at 100ppm, an estimate 18,000 bottles were released in January 2009.

Glenlochy 1977 Cadenheads 17 Year Old (US Import)

There are not many Glenlochy's around, this particular bottling was distilled in October 1977 and bottled 17 years later in September 1995.

Glenfiddich Snow Phoenix

A limited edition release selected from three warehouses which collapsed on the 7th January 2010, due to adverse weather conditions (a rather heavy snow storm).

Bottled without an age statement, Glenfiddich Snow Phoenix has been highly acclaimed and includes Oloroso and American oak casks from warehouses ranging from 13 to 30 years old.

Arran 1995 Open Day 2011

Only available at Arran distillery at their Open Day on 29th May 2011.

The cask was selected by a number of attendees to the 2010 Open Day  This was a single bourbon cask #104 distilled on 4th October 1995 and bottled on 18th April 2011, aged 15 years old.

Bottle number 51 of 200.

Glenfiddich Snow Phoenix

A limited edition release selected from three warehouses which collapsed on the 7th January 2010, due to adverse weather conditions (a rather heavy snow storm).

Glen Flagler Pure Malt

Glen Flagler was a very short lived distillery built within the Moffat complex owned by Inverhouse Distillers, production only existed between 1965 and 1985.

This old Inver House Distillers bottling is believed to be 5 years old.

Arran Devil's Punch Bowl Chapter I

The first edition of Arran's Devil Punch Bowl which consists of 27 casks distilled between 1997 and 2004; 17 of which are sherry casks, 6 ‘unpeated’ bourbon casks and 4 peated bourbon casks.

Known as the Angels and Devils edition, only 6,600 bottles have been released.

Ardbeg Rollercoaster – Committee Reserve

Released June 2010, Ardbeg Rollercoaster was strictly only available at the distillery or via Ardbeg.com.  However Ardbeg did not expect such demand, the website quickly broke and it did not take long for all 15,000 bottles to sell out.

Released to mark the 10^th anniversary of the Ardbeg Committee the Rollercoaster consists of ten vintages from 1997 to 2006

Glenmorangie 1987 LVMH Take Over Bottling

Distilled in 1987 and bottled in 2004 to mark the succesful sale of Glenmorangie to the fashion and drinks firm Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy.

Bottle number 97 of 346.

Ardbeg Alligator Untamed Release

A fierce charring to the cask, an 'alligator char' provides the name for this whisky, aggressive heat when applied to the inside of the casks causes the cracking of the wood which re-sembles that of an Alligators skin. 

Following the acclaimed committee release, the un-tamed edition was released in 2011 and quickly sold out.

Glenmorangie 1993 '100 Best UK Companies To Work For'

Released in 2003, this 10 year old Glenmorangie was distilled in 1993 and matured in American White Oak.

Bottled to commemorate Glenmorangie being declared one of the best companies to work for within the UK.

This is bottle number 102 of 350 and is signed by Glenmorangie Chief Executive at the time Paul Neep.

Glen Moray VC10 Single Cask

A 10 year old bottling to commemorate the VC10 47th years of service with the Royal Air Force.

This single cask was flown from RAF Lossimouth to RAF Brize Norton on June 24th 2013 in K3 ZA147 or Squadron No.101.

Glen Moray Centenary Port Wood Finish​

Bottled to commemorate the centenary of Glen Moray distillery, the whisky is a combination of four casks from 1976, 1977, 1978 and 1979 all matured in ex-bourbon casks.  A further maturation period followed from 1987 in Port wood from Duoro Valley, Portugal until bottling in 1997.

An unboxed version of Glen Moray 30 year old, limited to only 3,000 bottles.

Inchmurrin 1966 29 Year Old

An official bottling from Loch Lomond.  Loch Lomond produce quite an array of different spirits Inchmurrin is apprently the sixth and most heavily peated spirit.

Distilled in 1966 and bottled december 1996.

Glenmorangie Signet

As usual with most recent Glenmorangies, this has a stunning box.  The Glenmorangie Signet is a combination of younger 'chocolate malt' blended with some very old over 30 year old Glenmorangie.

Ardbeg Ardbog

Released as Ardbeg’s annual Feis Ile offering at the start of June, alongside Ardbeg distillery it was also released at Ardbeg Embassies. 

A vatting of 10 year old Ardbeg matured in bourbon casks with a ‘heart’ matured in Manzanilla sherry casks. 

Ardbeg Ardbog

Glenmorangie 15 Year Old Artein 

A whisky born of stone, Artein is gaelic for stone as the whisky represents the rocky terroir of it's provence

Glenmorangie Artein was released into Glenmorangie's Private Edition series in 2011, finished in Super-Tuscan wine casks.
