D Antonia A Ferreira Garrafeira 1834 Vinho Porto

One of the famous vintages from the nineteenth century.

This vintage is linked to the Ferreira family; In October 1834 Dona Antonia Adelaide Ferreira marries the son namesake António Bernardo Ferreira in Chapel Farm Travassos in Loureiro. Both only children, the couple were to inherit the concentrated wealth of the two strongest branches of the family, a fact that would prove decisive to consolidate, under the name of D. Antonia.  This would evolve into the World famous port producing Ferriera empire.

his wine was the protagonist of a dramatic but fascinating episode: in 1887, the Swedish explorer Auguste Andrée, along with two companions, decided to cross the North Pole in a balloon. On 14 July, the balloon fell to the Arctic, amazingly they survived and the they made a feast in a floating ice sheet. The main course was yummy seagull breast,alongside abottle of Vintage Port \"D. Antonia Ferreira \"1834 which had been offered by the King of Sweden. Unfortunately, the adventurers did not survive to tell his experience but a Norwegian expedition found, 33 years later, their bodies and, diaries and some photographic material.

Dalmore Mackenzie 1992

The Dalmore Mackenzie was released to commemorate the long lasting relationship between Dalmore and Clan Mackenzie.

The whisky was matured in a bourbon hogsheads for 11 years before a finishing period of 6 years in port pipes.

A limited and highly sought after bottling of which only 3,000 were made.

Dalmore Millennium Release 1263 Custodian 2012 / 1st Release

The first cask to be bottled for Dalmore's custodians, a concept introduced by the distillery for it's followers in 2012.

A trio of casks were filled at midnight on January 1st 2000 and gradually released on their 12th, 15th, and 18th birthday's.

This is the first 'Millennium Release', bottled in 2012 as a 12 year old. Initiallly matured in an American oak ex-bourbon cask, before being finished in a Matusalem oloroso sherry cask.

Matured in American white oak and Spanish sherry wood, before being finished in Bordeaux casks. Castle Leod was distilled in 1995 and bottled in 2011.

The bottles will be checked-in, authenticated, photographed, and then listed into the next available auction, or an auction of your choice, by our expert team. Whisky Auctioneer hosts monthly auctions, where registered users from across the globe can bid on bottles via our website.  

After the auction closing date, the highest bidder will be notified by email. Payment is required within 72hrs. The buyer can then choose to ship, store, or collect the bottle(s). Buyer fees are applied during the online checkout process.  

The seller will receive payment within 21 working days of the end of the auction, directly to their chosen bank account. Seller fees will be applied to the seller’s invoice after the auction.
