Glengoyne Teapot Dram Batch #3

An incredibly popular Glengoyne that is only available at the distillery, this is the latest batch of the Teapot Dram.

From Glengoyne's website; For almost 150 years, workers at Glengoyne were allowed three large drams while on duty throughout the day. It was the Brewers’ job to select a different cask each week from which to draw the drams. The workers would gather in the staff canteen at 9.00am, midday and 3.00pm to receive their share.

The agreed measure was for it to be “no less than the quantity indicated by the placement of three fingers upon the tumbler” which was usually calibrated by the man with the chubbiest digits. Served at full cask strength, some of the younger workers found it a bit of a struggle to finish. So instead of disposing with the leftovers, the drams were secreted in a copper teapot. The more seasoned imbibers would enjoy a little extra throughout the day – well, it beats a proper tea break.

Available only from Glengoyne Batch 004 as with the previous Teapot Drams, it has been lovingly recreated by men with a vague recollection of those days matured exclusively in first fill sherry casks.

Glenfiddich 125th Anniversary  

A limited edition Glenfiddich created by Brian Kinsman to reflect 125 years of pioneering spirit at Glenfiddich, this whisky was crafted to the style of Glenfiddich in William Grant's day (125 year earlier).

The Glenfiddich 125 Anniversary is a marriage of peated Glenfiddich whiskies matured mainly in American oak casks.

Glenfarclas £511.19s.0d Family Reserve

A special bottle of Glenfarclas to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the distillery under the ownership of the Grant family. Named after the price which John Grant payed for the distillery on 8th June 1865.

Caol Ila 2000 Feis Ile 2011

Released for the annual Feis Ile, in 2011 this Caol Ila was hand selected by Billy Mitchell and was matured in sherry cask 301696.

Glenkinchie 15 Year Old Manager's Dram 2010

The Manager’s Dram series of whiskies were bottled exclusively for employees of what is now known as Diageo. These whiskies were selected by the respective distillery managers within Diageo malt distilling and bottled at natural cask strength.

Glenfiddich Cask of Dreams 2012 Russian Cask Russian Import 75cl

This is a bottle of the Russian Cask of Dreams release by Glenfiddich, strictly to the Russian market in 2012.

Idividuals were asked to sign and record their dreams on casks that was travelling around Russia.  Once finished of the tour the cask was flown back to Scotland and filled with Glenfiddich for a a short period before bottling. The total out-turn of the Cask of Dreams was 6,420 bottles available only within the Russia.

Craigellachie 1980 Cadenhead's 16 Year Old

A relatively unknown Speyside distillery, this was distilled in June 1980 and bottled in June 1997. 

Caol Ila 2002 Feis Ile 2014

Caol Ila's annual Feis Ile release this year comes in the form of a 12 year old matured in refill American oak Hogsheads, personally selected by David Wood.

Glenmorangie 18 Year Old Extremely Rare

Glenmorangie 18 year old was matured for 15 years in ex bourbon casks prior to a 3 year finishing period in Oloroso sherry casks.

This was exported to the Taiwanese market. 

Glenfarclas 17 Year Old Luvians Bottle Shop Open 2010

Specially selected by Luvians Bottle Shop to mark The Open being played at St Andrews Old Course in 2010.

This is one of 300 produced by Glenfarclas for this occasion.

Glenrothes distilled in December 1988 and bottled in 2010.

Cardhu 12 Year Old 1980s

An old 1980s bottling of Cardhu, carrying the infamous dumpier style but not depicting the striding man of Johnnie Walker on the neck.

Single cask Glenlivet from cask 9345 bottled in Spetember 2012. 

Cameronbridge 1979 Duncan Taylor 25 Year Old

Distilled in Februrary 1979 and bottled in Februrary 2006.

This particular bottling is a single grain whisky from the Cameron Bridge distillery, the first distillery to produce Grain whisky using the Column still method invented by Robert Stein, Prior to Aeneas Coffey improving the design.

This is bottle number 96 of 173.

This is a 17 year old from Cadenhead's. 

Glengoyne 1994 Claret Finish 11 Year Old Single Cask

A vintage Glengoyne distilled in February 1994 and matured for 10 years until bottling in June 2005.

Matured in cask #90481 then finished in Claret wood. This was bottled to celebrate Ayr's 800th birthday.

Clynelish 2004 SMWS 9 Year Old 26.101

\"An autumn feast at springtime\" is a 1st Fill Bourbon Barrel Clynelish 9 year old bottled by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society.

This was released to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Queen Street venue in Edinburgh.

Glenmorangie Fino Sherry Wood Finish

A more unusual sherry finished Glenmorangie.  

This was matured in traditional American white oak before being transferred into Fino Sherry casks for the final maturation.

Glenfiddich The Original 1963 

A recent addition to Glenfiddich's range of whiskies only available in select markets.This bottle was purchased at the distillery in Dufftown. 

Created using a sample of whisky from the first single malt to be produced by Glenfiddich in 1963, this recreation was produced to commemorate the 'Original' single malt.

Cambus 1991 Signatory Vintage 18 Year Old

A signatory vintage bottling of this much loved closed distillery.

Distilled on 24th July 1991 and bottled on 10th September 2009, matured in a single refill butt #55883.

Glengoyne 1994 Claret Finish Single Cask / Ayr 800

A vintage single cask Glengoyne distilled in February 1994 and bottled in June 2005 after being finished in a claret cask. 

This was bottled to celebrate 800 years of Ayr.
