Old Elgin 50 Year Old

Distilled in the Winter of 1940 and matured for 50 years prior to being bottled in \"The Whisky Capital of Scotland\" Elgin. 

This is a 50 year old Speyside single malt, Gordon and MacPhail have bottled Macallan, Glenlivet and Mortlach from this era. This may be one of them but it may not be. 

Bottle number 062. 

Please note the low fill level and that this bottle has a fragile wax seal. 

Glen Flagler 1973 30 Year Old

A very rare bottling of this long lost distillery that was once part of the Moffat distilling complex, Glenflagler was produced between 1965 and 1985.

This 30 year old official release from Inverhouses is a combination of the five  last remaining casks of Glen Flagler that belonged to Inverhouse.

A release of only 931 bottles this is bottle number 300.

Includes a lovely wooden box and certificate of authenticity.

Glenlochy 1969 Rare Malt 26 Year Old 75cl 

A very rare bottling of Glenlochy from within the Rare Malts Selection and one of the rare bottles from the series.

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

Distilled in 1969 and bottled as a 26 year old,this is bottle number 0240.

B297 version , the last of the Rare Malt Selection bottlings of this closed distillery.

Glenglassaugh 1972 Single Cask 40 Year Old

A recent old release from the long closed but now reopened distillery. 

Distilled in December 1973 then matured in a single manzanilla Sherry puncheon numbered 6801 for 40 years. 

This is bottle number 246 of 497. 

Glenury 1970 40 Year Old

There are very few official bottling of this rare highland malt, which closed its doors for the last time in 1985.

This 1970 vintage Glenury was bottled in 2011 within Diageo's annual super premium series.  

One of only 1500 bottles, this is bottle number 0074.

Please note staining to inner packaging. 

Glengoyne 1986 Ewan's Choice 19 Year Old

Distilled on the 13th of April 1986 then bottled May 2005. Cask number 441 was a PX sherry puncheon chosen by Glengoyne Stillman Ewan Hendry. 

This is bottle number 516 of 600.

Glenury 1968 36 Year Old

There are very few official bottling of this rare highland malt, which closed its doors for the last time in 1985.

This 1968 vintage Glenury was bottled in 2005 within Diageo's annual super premium series.  

One of only 2,100 bottles, this is bottle number 696.

Glenrothes 1972

Distilled in November 1972 and bottled in March 1996.

Glenfiddich 1995 First Fill Sherry Cask / Speyside Festival 2015

A single cask first fill sherry Glenfiddich distilled in 1995 and bottled for the 2015 Speyside festival. 

Glenfiddich 30 Year Old 

Glenfiddich 30 year old presented in a stunning box, this mult award winning whisky was matured in Spanish Oloroso and American Bourbon casks.

Glen Grant 1966 Gordon and Macphail / Queen's Award for Enterprise

A rare bottle of Glen Grant, distilled in 1966 and bottled in October 2013  to commemorate Gordon and Macphail's reception of the Queen's award for Enterprise and International Trade.

This was never available for retail and was given to employees of Gordon and Macphail at the time.

Glenfiddich 1991 Hand Filled First Fill Bourbon 24 Year Old

This Glenfiddich was distilled in 1991 and bottled in 2015 after maturation in a single first fill bourbon cask. 

This was hand botttled at the distillery and has been unsigned. 

Chichibu 2009 SMWS 4 Year Old 130.1

A Chichibu distilled in June 2009 and matured in a first fill ex-bourbon barrel.

Coleburn 1978 Cadenhead's 19 Year Old

This Coleburn was distilled in March 1978 and bottled in February 1998. 

Glenugie 1984 Douglas Laing 20 Year Old

A single cask Douglas Laing bottling of this rare closed highland distillery.

Distilled in March 1984 and bottled iin August 2004.

One of 201 bottles.

Glenfarclas / Ballindalloch 1965 Douglas Laing 40 Year Old

Not to be confused with the new Ballindalloch distillery (established 2014),  Valley of the Green Grass tranlslated to gaelic means Glenfarclas. 

Distilled in 1965 and bottled in 2005, this whisky has spent 40 years in a sherry butt. 

One of 194 bottles. 

Glen Grant 30 Year Old 150th Anniversary

A very rare bottling of Glen Grant at 30 years old.

Bottled in 1990 to commemorate the 150th Anniversary of the distillery opening in 1840.

A Glenlochy distilled in March 1975 and bottled in June 2001.

One of 258 bottles.

Caol Ila 1975 Rare Malt 20 year old 75cl

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

Distilled in 1975 and bottled in 1995 as a 20 year old, there were eight releases of Caol Ila under the Rare Malt Selection.

Glen Grant 1976 Douglas Laing / Sherry Butt

Distilled in December 1976 and bottled in March 2009 after being matured in a single sherry butt. 

One of 266 bottles. 

Chivas Regal 18 Year Old Christian Lacroix Edition

This what happens when you let a talented fashion designer at an icon of whisky... Christian Lacroix has designed this limited edition Chivas Regal 18 year old in an embroidery fabric and silver bottle, designed to emphasise 'Chivalry'.

Only 3,000 of this limited edition Chivas were produced.

Campbell's Blended Scotch Whisky 1940 

A very rare blended whisky produced by John Campbell's we believe from around the 1940s

This particular bottle has been difficult to find information on and we believe this rare John Campbell's blended whisky is affiliated to Campbell, Hope and King the legendary bottlers from Elgin.  The bottle certainly dates from an earlier period than that to which Campbell, Hope and King are better known.  The italic name 'Campbell's' certainly matches those used for Campbell's of Elgin a blend that was produced from the 1960s.

Clynelish 17 Year Old Manager's Dram 1998

The Manager’s Dram series of whiskies were bottled exclusively for employees of what is now known as Diageo.  These whiskies were selected by the respective distillery managers within Diageo malt distilling and bottled at natural cask strength.

This 17 year old Clynelish was matured in sherry casks and selected by the distillery manager.

Bottled 23rd November 1998.

Bottle number 0737.

Glen Keith 1967 Gordon and Macphail

Distilled at Glen Keith in 1967 at the time when they were triple distilling their whiskies.

Bottled by Gordon and Macphail in 2003.

Glen Ord 1973 Rare Malt 23 Year Old 75cl

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

This Glen Ord was distilled in 1973 and bottled 23 years later, this is bottle number 5341.

A 21 Year Old limited edition Oban, bottled as part of Diageo's 2013 Special Releases. Matured using rejuvenated American oak and second-fill Bodega casks, only 2,860 bottles were released.

Caperdonich Boutique-y Whisky Company Batch #1

Caperdonich is a Speyside distillery that closed in 2002. 

The image depicts a \"donich Caper\", with guys trying to drill the legendary pipeline that runs between Glen Grant and Caperdonich.

Glenfiddich Snow Phoenix

A limited edition release selected from three warehouses which collapsed on the 7th January 2010, due to adverse weather conditions (a rather heavy snow storm).

Bottled without an age statement, Glenfiddich Snow Phoenix has been highly acclaimed and includes Oloroso and American oak casks from warehouses ranging from 13 to 30 years old.
