Macallan Archival Series Folio 1

The new limited release from Macallan that's only available from the distillery. 

The distillery staff have confirmed that the liquid is 12 years old, Sherry Cask matured and limited 2000 bottles. Although none of these are stated on the packaging. 

This is the first in a range of whiskies recreating the old advertising styles of Macallan, this imitating an advertisement from the 1980s and early 1990s.

Presented with a book and USB stick all presented in a beautifully designed book-shaped tin.

Macallan 18 Year Old 1992

Distilled in 1992 and bottled in 2010.

This bottle was released for the Taiwanese market.

The first Phoenix and the Sun release from the Mars Shinsu distillery bottled exclusively for Whisky Talk Fukuoka 2015.

Distilled in 2012 and matured in cask #1490.

Midleton Very Rare 2000 Edition 

This famous blend of whiskies was produced by Jameson's Master Distiller, Barry Crockett. Midleton Very Rare was released in very limited quantities on an annual basis since 1984, until 2012 when it was replaced by the equally desirable and acclaimed Midleton Barry Crockett Legacy.

The whiskey is aged somewhere between 12 and 25 years and matured solely in Bourbon casks.  Each bottle carries a signature from Barry Crocket.

James Martin 30 Year Old Fine and Rare

A well aged blend produced primarily for the French Market.

Many of the James Martin blends have been highly acclaimed by whisky authors such as Michael Jackson and Dave Broom.

Macallan Rare Cask Black

A new Rare Cask created from the 'Dark, Mysterious Warehouses' of the The Macallan Distillery.

This is a one-off relatively small release of less than 100 casks, predominantly first fill sherry casks of European and American oak.

With a touch of smoke, the Rare Cask Black contains whisky from peat spirit produced at Macallan.

This new Macallan was released exclusive to Global Travel Retail.

Johnnie Walker Oldest is the original bottling of what we now know as Johnnie Walker Blue Label, these are becoming more and more difficult to find.

This has stated ages of 15 to 60 years.

Johnnie Walker Quest was originally positioned above the Blue Label in the Johnnie Walker range.

Further information from the label states that this is 'cask conditioned whisky'.
