Spey Royal Fine Old 1980s

Bottled and blended at Glen Spey, Spey Royal is a blended Scotch whisky with this bottle dating from around the 1980s.

Soho Old London Dry Gin

London Dry is a style of gin named for where it was first created, and so does not have Protected Geographical status.  Indeed many London Dry Gins are distilled outside of London, as is the case in this old gin, distilled by Glenaber Distillers of Lisbon, Portugal.

Please note condition of lot as shown. This bottle has no label measurements indicating a date of production in the 1960s to early 70s.

This red wine is from the central Spanish DO (Denominación de Origen) of Valdepeñas, likely to be a Cencibel (aka Tempranillo) dominant big-blend, with quantities of Garnacha, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah and Petit Verdot, with a minimum period of 24 months maturing in oak barrels; 1990 vintage.

A well-matured red wine from the Navarra region in northern Spain, immediately east of Rioja.  The wine is a blend of Tempranillo and Garnacha, matured for over 3 years in oak barrels.

As a 1981 vintage, bottled in 1985, this wine easily qualifies to be regarded as a Gran Reserva.
