Cinzano Rojo 1970s 93cl

Cinzano is a brand of vermouth created in the northwest of Italy by aromatising wines with herbs and spices.  This bottle of Rojo (red vermouth) was distilled under license in Spain.

We estimate this bottle to be from the 1970s.

Red wine from the Minervois appellation in the South of France.  The wine is a blend of Carignan, Grenache, Mourvedre and Syrah.

Clos Peyrelevade 1987 Pécharmant

A red wine from the very little-known French appellation of Pécharmant, just northeast of Bergerac (east of Bordeaux).  The wine follows much the same blending formula as with the classic Bordeaux-blend: Merlot dominant, with Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Malbec.

Cinzano Reserva Rosso 1970s 93cl

Cinzano is a brand of vermouth created in the northwest of Italy by aromatising wines with herbs and spices.  This bottle of Rosso (red vermouth) was distilled under license in Spain.

Château La Rose Nouet is the 2nd wine from Château Chantegrive.

Condado de Navalarri 1983 Navarra

Tempranillo & Garnacha red wine from the northern Spanish region of Navarra, immediately to the east of Rioja (across the river Ebro).  The grapes for this wine were from the 1983 vintage, with bottling in November 1985, so it is possible this wine rested in either traditional concrete tanks or oak barrels briefly.
