Remy Martin Louis XIII Cognac Tres Vieille 1950s

Remy Martin is perhaps the most well known of all Cognac producers and has established a reputation for quality that very few others can relate to.

This is a spectacular 1950s example of the Louis XIII Tres Vieille Cognac Baccarat decanter which holds Grande Champagne cognac aged between 40 and 100 years.

Please note that this item is very old and hence very fragile. Lot is sold as photographed.

The neck label is missing but this liquid is likely from the same period as similiar bottles late 1950s perhaps?

A cask strength independent bottling of Tamnavulin from Italian bottler Samaroli.

This bottle marks the 40th Anniversary of Samaroli and was distilled 1968 and was bottled 2008 from cask #3662.

After 40 years in barrel it's come down to a cask strengh of a mellow 40%

This Flora and Fauna bottling of Rosebank has been discontinued for a number of years and was the last standard official release from Rosebank.

This was one of the rare cask strength botltings, distilled in 1981 and bottled in 1997.

Talisker 8 Year Old 1970s

A brilliant and very rare example of an 8 year old Talisker which was bottled before the 'Striding Man' mid-1980s era when Talisker was bottled under the Johnnie Walker name.

This was arround the time that Talisker closed their on site maltings and began to import malt from Glen Ord.

Carries the moto 'The Golden Spirit of the Isle of Skye'.

Rosebank 1974 Signatory Vintage 17 Year Old

A Rosebank distilled on 30th November 1974 and bottled by Signatory Vintage in March 1992 from Cask # 5061

Rosebank 1990 SMWS 11 Year Old 25.22

An older Rosebank release from the Scotch Malt Whisky Society distilled in November 1990 and bottled in June 2001.

Carrying the SMWS tasting note/name \"Sweet pear and parma violet\".

This blend range is named after Nikka founder and key member of the birth of Japanese whisky, Masataka Taketsuru.

This blended malt was released to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Nikka, which was established in 1934.

Only 984 bottles were released.

Thomas H Handy Sazerac 2016 Release

Part of Buffalo Trace's annual antique collection. Bottled at hot 63.1% alcohol, they do get higher abvs than this but it's still impressive!

The 2011 release won Jim Murray's Whisky of the Year!

Real Companhia Velha​ Novidade De 1896

This bottle appears to be a vintage 1896 Colheita style style port produced by Companhia Geral da Agricultura das Vinhas do Alto Douro or Real Companhia Velha for short. 

Founded in 1756 by Marquez de Pombal Real Companhia Velha are one of the most important and storied produces in the region, responsible for the demarcation of the Alto Douro region, the oldest demarcated wine region in the world. 

An exceptionally unusual bottle and piece of wine history. The fill level is to the bottom of the neck, and there are no apparent signs of leaking.

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

Released at natural cask strength of 56.2% this is bottle number 1191. Royal Lochnagar distilled this in 1974 and it was bottled as a 30 year old.

The distillery is situated close to Balmoral, the Queen’s official residence in Scotland which makes this Distillery a Tourist must.
