Glenlossie 12 year old Manager’s Dram 2004

The Manager’s Dram series of whiskies were bottled exclusively for employees of what is now known as Diageo.  These whiskies were selected by the respective distillery managers within Diageo malt distilling and bottled at natural cask strength.

Glenlossie 12 year old was matured in a refill cask and bottled in November 2004.

This is the second entry in Glenfiddich's new experimental series. 

20 experts each selected 20 casks not knowing the reason, then master blender Brian Kinsman combined them to create this marrage. 

The mix is wide and different including port pipes, sherry casks and even some virgin oak. 

Glenmorangie Taghta

A rather odd offering from Glenmorangie, (pronounced Tuh-tah) , the first official 'crowd-sourced' whisky.

The characteristics were decided by Glenmorangie's 'Cask Master's' which ultimately has lead to the release of this whisky, which means 'chosen' in Gaelic.

This is the first release in a new range of Travel Retail Glenmorangie called the Legends. This is named after St Duthac the patron saint of Tain. 

The whisky is bourbon cask matured then finished in charred virgin oak and Pedro Ximinez sherry.
