Yamazaki 12 Year Old Watami Founders Choice 

A rare Yamazaki 12 year old produced exclusively for Miki Watanabe, the Managing Director of the Watami Chain of Restaurants.  This exclusive bottling was only available through the Watami restaurants and izakayas (informal drinking / eating establishments in Japan). 

Bottled at 43% and in a 66cl bottle.

Bladnoch 10 Year Old Flora and Fauna

This Flora and Fauna 10 year old Bladnoch has been discontinued for a number of years and was the last bottling released by Diageo the old owners of the distillery.

The distillery is currently not in production but this is unlikely to be for the long term.

15 Year old from Nikka's Yoichi distillery, now discontinued and becoming increasingly sought after at auction. 

Benriach 16 Year Old Cape of Storms

A very limited Benriach that was only available in South Africa, originally launched at the Whisky Live Show 2007.  The Cape of Storms limited releases followed the days when whisky was transported as ballast, in ships that travelled to the Cape from the UK and back. This unique shipping experience greatly affected the flavour, the sea, the constant motion and movement of the liquid.

Two bottlings were released, a younger 12 year old and this 16 year old.  The actual spirit used in the bottling of this 16 year old is widely regarded to be nearer 19 years old, however the later part of the maturation period was in South Africa and can not be placed legally onto the label.

Only 195 bottles of the 16 year old were released.

This 12 years was matrued in an ex-sherry cask number 576.

Balvenie 1980 15 Year Old Single Barrel

An older edition of Balvenie's classic single barrel series, a 15 year old single malt which is drawn from a single traditional oak whisky cask of a single distillation. While every cask is subtly different, The Balvenie Malt Master has selected only casks which have the essential characteristics of The Balvenie Single Barrel.

Distilled on 25th July 1980  and bottled from cask #5471 on the 21st August 1996, this is bottle number 216.

A classic, legendary speyside that has recently been revamped, this recent version of Balvenie 15 year old Single Barrel is from sherry cask #2801, this is bottle number 376.

No longer are we told the year of distillation or bottling.

No more than one of 650 bottles.

Balvenie 12 Year Old Double Wood / Gift Box

The Double Wood is a malt which gains its distinctive character and name from being matured in two wood types.

During maturation it is transferred from a traditional oak whisky cask to a first fill European oak sherry cask. 

Comes in an unusual gift box.

Bowmore Darkest

The Bowmore Darkest was matured in sherry casks and is incredibly popular amongst Bowmore fans.

The non-age-statement version shown here has long been discontinued and replaced by the 15 year old 'Darkest'.

Part of Diageo's 2014 Special releases, this meaty 21 Year Old is aged exclusively in sherry casks.

Bruichladdich ​Octomores Futures 'The Beast'

Distilled on 9th November 2004 and bottled in April 2011 the futures releases were only ever available at Bruichladdich distillery.

Peated to a massive 167 ppm, malted using Optic barley and matured in a bourbon cask.  

No wonder it's named 'The Beast'

Bruichladdich Octomore 2016 10 Year Old / 2nd Release

This spirit was distilled in December 2005 using malt peated to a colossal 167ppm.  Filled into Fresh Bourbon and Grenache Blanc casks, it spent the next decade slumbering in P2, the ancient stone warehouse in the village of Port Charlotte, close to the western shore of Loch Indaal.

In this second edition of ten year old, the unique texture of Octomore is lifted further by the smooth, sweet fruit of Grenache and engages perfectly with the phenolic depth. Just 18,000 bottles exist, presented at 57.3% alc.vol. with a splash of Islay spring water. 18,000 individually numbered bottles only.

Dumped on 7th December 1995 from Barrel No 349 stored in warehouse H on Rick 14.

Bottle Number 70.

Please note the abv and size measurements for this bottle are not visible on the bottle.

There is an Asian import sticker on the bottom of the carton. This states 40% / 70cl, however this might not be accurate.

Benromach 1980 SMWS 20 Year Old 47.5
