Buffalo Trace 1980 O.F.C.

Three unique bourbons dating back to 1980, 1982 and 1983 were released by Buffalo Trace Distillery late last year and offered exclusively to non-profit organisations in order for them to raise money for their causes.

We are delighted to have been given the opportunity to auction a bottle of the 1980 vintage, one of only 100.

Presented within a beautifully decorative crystal bottle with copper lettering and finely crafted dark wood display case with revolving door, this stunning whiskey has been named in honour of the distillery’s original name, Old Fashioned Copper or O.F.C.

We hope to see this fly in our January Auction and make a healthy sum for a very worthy cause.

Oban 16 Year Old Manager's Dram Bicentenary 1994

The Manager’s Dram series of whiskies were bottled exclusively for employees of what is now known as Diageo.  These whiskies were selected by the respective distillery managers within Diageo malt distilling and bottled at natural cask strength.

Bottled to celebrate Oban’s 200^th anniversary, 1794 – 1994  this 16 year old was released exclusively from sherry casks by distillery manager John William and his employees listed on the rear of the bottle.

Oishii Wisukii 36 Year Old Highlander Inn Small Batch Blend

A very high quality 36 year old blended whisky which has been matured in a single Sherry cask.

Bottled exlusively for the whisky lover's paradise, The Highlander Inn in Craigellachie, and named Oishii Wisukii, which translates to \"Delicious Whisky\", this bottle has labels designed by Japanese artist and designer Takeshi Abe whose previous work has included label design for the Ichiro's Malt card series.

Oban 21 Year Old

A 21 Year Old limited edition Oban, bottled as part of Diageo's 2013 Special Releases. Matured using rejuvenated American oak and second-fill Bodega casks, only 2,860 bottles were released.

Bottled number 958 of 2,860.

Old Pulteney 1989 Lightly Peated

An award winning whisky, the Old Pulteney 1989 was acclaimed the title of World's Best Single Malt from the World Whisky Awards, which are awarded by the Whisky Magazine.

This lightly peated 1989 vintage has now virtually all but sold out at retail and has quickly gained status at auctions.

Oban 21 Year Old South American Import 75cl

A 21 Year Old limited edition Oban, bottled as part of Diageo's 2013 Special Releases.

Matured using rejuvenated American oak and second-fill Bodega casks.

Bottled number 1612 of 2,860.

Oban 19 Year Old Manager’s 1995

Released in 1995 from a refill cask, this Oban was bottled for United Distillers (Diageo) and chosen by John Williams.

From the Van Winkle range this is the entry level edition. Absolutely stonking!

As popular and impressive as the older members of this legendary family of whiskies.

Old Pulteney 8 Year Old 1970s

A rare 1970s bottling of Old Pulteney bottled by Gordon and MacPhail.

Measurements on the top of the label appear to have been removed.

Serge Valentin claims that Low Robertson & Co. LTD held Port Ellen's License so this blend is said to contain young PE whisky!

A special release of the iconic Oban 14 year old to mark the bi-centenary of Oban distillery, released in 1994.

Old Parr Superior 75cl

An older expression of Old Parr Superior.

First released in 1989 and produed in relatively small quantities.

Old Bardstown 6 Year Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon 1990s

Jim Murray gave a more recent bottling from this distillery 95 points in his whisky bible. Robert Parker compared a whisky in this range to 20 Year old Van winkle. The praise heaped upon this brand is huge. 

This seems to be a very well-kept secret.

Old Rarity Blend 1960s

A lovely old bottling of this blend produced by Bulloch Lade & Co,a popular old blend that is rarely seen at auction.  We estimate that this is a 1960s bottling.

A very popular peated Tomintoul, released in the last few years at a slightly higher abv.

Each distillery in Diageo's Distillers Edition is double matured in a unique Wine cask choosen specifically to enchance that distillery's best characteristics.

This is part of Old Pulteney's Lighthouse Collection, released in the autumn of 2013.

Duncansby Head is named after the lighthouse located near John O'Groats.

Matured in bourbon and sherry casks.

Old Weller Antique Original 107 Brand

W L Weller is the original wheated bourbon, This bourbon is made with a unique recipie at Buffalo trace. 

This has been bottled at 107 proof and used to carry a 7 year age statement but this has now been removed. 

This is produced in a very similar manner to Van Winkle 10 Year Old as it has the same mash bill and produced at the same distillery. 

Old Weller Antique Original 107 Brand
