Bell's Extra Special 8 year old blended Scotch whisky, bottled in a ceramic decanter to commemorate the birth of Princess Beatrice on 8^th August 1998

A very unusual and rare bottling of Ben Nevis, bottled to commemorate the Centenary of Henry Alexander Jr ascending Ben Nevis (the mountain) in a Ford Model T in 1911.   

Only 100 bottles were released alongside the decanter shown in the pictures, signed by distillery manager Alex W Ross.

Bruichladdich released the Blacker Still in 2006, matured exclusively in Oloroso sherry casks for almost 20 years.  This was the first release in the ‘Still’ series and quickly became an icon of collectible Bruichladdich. 

Only 2840 bottles were produced, this is bottle number 1579 of 2840

Only available at the distillery this particular valinch bottling was bottled to celebrate the life of Michael Jackson, the beer and whisky journalist/author.  Distilled on April 19th 1989 from cask #003 and matured in Bourbon and Syrah casks before being bottled in October 2007.

Bruichladdich Octomore 2.2 or Orpheus

Similiarly to the Comus, the Orpheus release was equally peated to the same degree as its counter-part Octomore 2.1, at 140ppm.  The Orpheus was finished using Château Pétrus Bordeaux casks, recognised as one of the world’s top vineyards.  Matured for only 5 years this alongside the Comus have proven to be quite desirable bottlings.

This is bottle 998 of 15,000.

A limited release of 747 bottles distilled in 1985 and matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks for 26 years.
