Port Ellen 1979 22 Year Old 1st Release

The first of the incredibly popular Port Ellen annual releases.  Distilled in 1979 and bottled 22 years later in 2001, bottled at cask strength and limited to 6,000 bottles, this is bottle 1420.

Port Ellen is the lost jewel in the Islay crown. Closure in 1983 has enabled this distillery to receive a near mythical amount of love and respect. As stocks get thinner on the ground, these bottles become rarer and rarer.

The bottle is in excellent condition, the front box label has a tiny touch of water staining.

A range of no age statement Port Ellens bottled by Speciality Drinks Ltd in 50cl bottles.

Glenfarclas 1956 Family Cask Autumn 2014 

One of the oldest recent releases in the Family Cask range by Glenfarclas.  This Autumn 2014 released was distilled in 1956 and bottled from a single plain butt #1768 on 9th July 2014.

The thirteenth edition of the incredibly popular Port Ellen annual releases.  Distilled in 1978 and bottled 34 years later in 2013, bottled at cask strength and limited to 2,958 bottles, this is bottle 0066.

Glendronach 1972 Single Cask 37 Year Old Batch #1

The very first single cask batch released after the distillery was taken over by Benriach in 2008. 

These helped establish Glendronach as the new home of heavily sherried whisky. 

Distilled in March 1972 and then bottled in July 2009 after being matured inOloroso butt number 719.

Glenfiddich Spirit of a Nation 29 Year Old

A limited edition Glenfiddich produced to commemorate the four brave servicemen and women who were wounded while serving in the armed forces and who set out on an epic 335km race to the South Pole. Glenfiddich are sponsoring the expedition and this bottle was released to commemorate the event.  

Released exclusively in the UK this refill sherry cask was filled in 1984 and select by Glenfiddich's Malt Master.  The whisky spent a brief finishing period in a cask which toured events in support of the 'Walking With the Wounded UK South Pole Challenge Team'.  

Only 200 bottles were released.

Port Ellen 10^th. Release 31yo

The tenth release of this famed Limited Edition series from Diageo.  Distilled  1978, bottled 2010 @ 54.6% & 70cl., this is bottle 1583 of only 3000 issued, in original velvet lined presentation box, good neck level, the entire package is pristine.

Glendronach 1972 Single Cask 40 Year Old

Distilled in February 1972 and then bottled in March 2013 from single cask number 704 which was an Oloroso sherry butt. Bottled for Spirit Empire in China.

45 year old Glenglassaugh released since BenRiach took the distillery over. Presented in a well crafted wooden box in a glass decanter with stopper.

Yamazaki 1990 Single Cask  #ON70646 Sherry Butt

Distilled Febuary 1990 and matured until June 2008.

Matured in cask number ON70646 which was a Spanish Oak Sherry Butt.

This is a rare Signatory vintage bottling of this long lost distillery that was once part of the Moffat distilling complex.

Distilled on 10th November 1972 and bottled on 26th June 1996 from cask number #228442.

Condition is excellent.
