Talisker 1973 28 Year Old Single Cask Oddbins' Exclusive

At the time of release, the 100 bottles of this were from the oldest casks at Talisker.  Exclusive to Oddbins, this very, very limited release of Talisker sold out within hours and has been one of the rarest Taliskers since. Includes the original leaflet that Oddbins produced to promote the whisky.

A very old Cadenhead's bottling of Talisker with very little information on the label.

Dalmore 1960 25 Year Old

A very very rare bottling of Dalmore, distilled in 1960 and aged for 25 years before bottling in the mid 1980s.

Limited edition bottle number 404, presented in a classic wooden box - what a wonderful contrast to recent well aged Dalmore's.

Talisker 1981 20 Year Old

Bottled in 2002 as part of Diageo's Super Premium release.  This Talisker, distilled in 1981 has quickly become very desirable - no thanks to Jim Murray who scored this 95 points and making the comment 'Miss this and your life will be incomplete'. 

Matured in a sherry cask and released as a 20 year old this is bottle number 0120 of 9,000.

Dallas Dhu 1962 Cadenhead's 16 Year Old

Distilled in December 1962 and bottled September1979, this is a Cadenhead bottling of the closed Speyside distillery.

Johnnie Walker Green Label Taiwan Wonders Jade Mountain Edition

Johnnie Walker Green Label has been discontinued in most markets, this recent limited edition bottling is known as the Taiwan Wonders Collection.

The collection features etched images presented on the rear of each bottle. This is the complete set and comes along with a T-Shirt. 

Jade Mountain, Sun Moon Lake, Taroko Gorge and Ali Mountain are the wonders depicted. 

Jameson Limited Edition 15 Year Old

All Triple distilled pot still whiskey with no grain added, this was created as a special edition for the millennium.

Teaninich 1957 Cadenhead's 26 Year Old

One of several of these old Cadenhead's bottlings in our current auction.  

Distilled at Teaninich in 1957 and bottled 26 years later in January 1984.

Condition is near perfect, with exceptional fill level and only some minor peeling of the label.

Dalmore Clan Mackenzie Series  3 x 70cl (Mackenzie, Castle Leod, Cromartie)

These whiskies were release to pay homage to the Clan Mackenzie and generate funds for the restoration of the Clan Mackenzie's ancestral home the Castle Leod.

Dalmore Mackenzie 

Distilled in 1992 and bottled in 2010. Matured in a bourbon hogsheads for 11 years before a finishing period of 6 years in port pipes. 46%. 

Dalmore Castle Leod

Distilled in 1995 and bottled in 2011. Matured in American white oak and Spanish sherry wood, before being finished in Bordeaux casks. 46%. 

Dalmore Cromartie

Distilled in 1996 and bottled in 2012. Matured in American white oak before being transferred to Oloroso sherry casks, from Gonzalez Byass. 45%

Dallas Dhu 24 Year Old Historic Scotland Cask Strength

Distilled in 1982 not long before the distilleries closure then bottled in 2007 by Historic Scotland, the Goveenment body that runs the former distillery as a museum. 

Cask number 3739 and bottle number 500. 

Dalmore Millennium Release 1263 Custodian 2012 / 1st Release

Dalmore introduced the idea of becoming a Dalmore Custodian in 2010.

This is the first bottling to be released exclusively for the Dalmore Custodians'.  The whisky was filled into a cask at midnight on January 1st 2000 and will be gradually released at it's major birthday's of 12 years, 15 years and 18 years old.

This 'Millenium Release' was bottled in 2012 to mark the 12th birthday of this spirit, bottled from a single cask yielding only 421 bottles, approximately the same number will be released in 2015 and 2018.

Dalmore Millennium Release 1263 Custodian 2012 / 1st Release

The first cask to be bottled for Dalmore's custodians, a concept introduced by the distillery for it's followers in 2012.

A trio of casks were filled at midnight on January 1st 2000 and gradually released on their 12th, 15th, and 18th birthday's.

This is the first 'Millennium Release', bottled in 2012 as a 12 year old. Initiallly matured in an American oak ex-bourbon cask, before being finished in a Matusalem oloroso sherry cask.

Thomas H Handy Sazerac 2012 Release

Part of Buffalo Trace's annual antique collection. The 2011 release won Jim Murray's Whisky of the Year! 

Dallas Dhu 1979 Chieftain's 25 Year Old

A single cask Dallas Dhu distilled in in June 1979 and bottled September 2004. Matured in Sherry butt number 1380. 

One of 498 bottles. 

Tomatin 1989 Cù Bòcan 24 Year Old

The unitentional production of peated whisky at Tomatin in 1989 led to this being released 24 years later.

Bottled from bourbon casks 37470, 37471 and 37472 .

This is bottle 0742 of 1080 bottles.

Dalmore 1995 Distillery Exclusive Matusalem Finesse

Distilled in 1995, this single cask Dalmore was released exclusively for Dalmore distillery in 2012.

Matured in a bourbon cask before being finished in a Matusalem Olosoro sherry cask.

Limited to only 650 bottles.

Dallas Dhu 1976 Douglas Laing 24 Year Old

Distilled in 1976 and bottled in 2001, from the closed Speyside distillery which is now a museum. 

One of 630 bottles. 

Dallas Dhu 1971 Gordon and Macphail

Distilled in 1971 and bottled in 1992, this Speyside distillery has been closed sinced the 1980s but lives on as a Historic Scotland Museum. 

Isle of Jura 1984 (19 Year Old)

To mark the centenary of the birth of George Orwell, the author of 1984, who in 1948 moved to the isolation of Jura to write. 

This 19 year old Isle of Jura was finished in Palo Cortado Oloroso sherry casks with only 4,800 bottles were released.

Dalmore 1995 Castle Leod

Following the very popular Dalmore Clan Mackenzie release in 2010, similiarly this follow up was released to generate funds for the restoration of the Clan Mackenzie's ancestral home the Castle Leod.

Matured in American white oak and Spanish sherry wood, before being finished in Bordeaux casks. Castle Leod was distilled in 1995 and bottled in 2011.

Released by Nikka, this range of blended malts is named after Nikka's founder and a key member of the birth of Japanese whisky, Masataka Taketsuru.

Taketsuru 21 year old is highly acclaimed and has received many awards.

Dalmore Cromartie 1996

An exclusive bottling of Dalmore distilled in 1995 for 'The Whisky Shop', chosen by distillery manager Ian Mackay.

Matured using a combination of 65% Mathusalem sherry casks and 35% American ex-bourbon casks.

Jura Experimental 2002

An experimental bottling of Jura. This whisky is the combination of a young heavly peated cask from 1999 and an older variety from the 1970's.

Signed by Master Blender Richard Paterson and Distillery Manager of the time Mickey Heads.

J&B Rare Ministry of Sound

J&B's classic blend in a bottle desgined in collaboration with The Ministry of Sound. The label will turn red, blue or green under different lighting conditions, to help emulate that Nightclub feel. 

Jack Daniel's 1981 Gold Medal (US Import) 75cl

7th release in Jack Daniel's celebratingthe awards they get! And why not?!? 

The award in question this time was Jack's 1981 award from Insitut Pour Les Selections De La Qualite in Amsterdam.

Teaninich 1978 Chieftain's 19 Year Old

Bottled in the late 1990s by Ian Macleod, this Chieftain's bottling of Teaninich was distilled in 1978.

Please note there is some tape on the front of the box and some minor creases on the top.
