Karuizawa 29 Year Old Single Cask #8897

One of the recent Karuizawa bottlings exclusive to attendees of The Whisky Show, London and carries a stunning depiction of a Geisha, only half though - the other half is found on a sister bottling from a sherry cask #5347.

Produced from single bourbon cask #8897.

Port Ellen 1979 22 Year Old 1st Release

The first of the incredibly popular Port Ellen annual releases.  Distilled in 1979 and bottled 22 years later in 2001, bottled at cask strength and limited to 6,000 bottles, this is bottle 1420.

Port Ellen is the lost jewel in the Islay crown. Closure in 1983 has enabled this distillery to receive a near mythical amount of love and respect. As stocks get thinner on the ground, these bottles become rarer and rarer.

The bottle is in excellent condition, the front box label has a tiny touch of water staining. 

Karuizawa 1999 Noh Single Cask #869

A rare single cask Karuizawa exclusively bottled for K&L Wines.

This single cask was distilled in 1999 and bottled in 2013 from single sherry butt cask #869.

Limited to 500 bottles.

Another new single cask Karuizawa for us, distilled in 1982 and bottled in 2012 with a fantastic label - shame we missed Halloween with this one!

Single bourbon cask #8529 yielded only 411 bottles.

Karuizawa 1990 22 Year Old Single Cask #679

A rare single cask Karuizawa bottled in 2012 bottled at cask strength for The Whisky Exchange, from a single first fill sherry butt #679.

Please note the damage to the front of the box, where a label has been removed, Although these were not the original boxes as the boxes were added for the UK market by the Whisky Exchange. 

Karuizawa Noh 27 Year Old Multi Vintages Batch #1

La Maison Du Whisky released a number of multi-vintage Karuizawa's, bottled under the Noh release brand.

This is the original multi-vintage Karuizawa from 1981, 1983 and 1984 bottled October 2011.

The whisky used was from Sherry Butts and Bourbon casks from 1981, 1981, 1983 and 1984; cask numbers #6405, #4973, #8184 and #6437.

A range of no age statement Port Ellens bottled by Speciality Drinks Ltd in 50cl bottles.

Kawasaki 1981 Ichiro's Choice 

One of the very rare bottlings of Kawasaki by Ichirio Akuto. Only a handful of single casks have ever been bottled from this lost Japanese grain distillery.

This 1981 vintage was released in 2009 from refill sherry butts.

This is bottle number 170 of 710.

The tenth release of this famed Limited Edition series from Diageo.  Distilled  1978, bottled 2010 @ 54.6% & 70cl., this is bottle 1583 of only 3000 issued, in original velvet lined presentation box, good neck level, the entire package is pristine.

Karuizawa 1992 Single Cask #3434 Whisky Magazine

A single cask bottling of Karuizawa selected by the editor of Whisky Magazine.

Distilled in 1992 and matured in an American white oak sherry butt, #3434, bottled in 2007 at 15 years old.

This cask strength series of Karuizawa was exclusively released to the Taiwanese market.  

The 3rd release is a blend of vintages from 1999 and 2000, matured in a sherry butt and bottled in 2013.

Johnnie Walker Green Label Taiwan Wonders Jade Mountain Edition

Johnnie Walker Green Label has been discontinued in most markets, this recent limited edition bottling is known as the Taiwan Wonders Collection.

The collection features etched images presented on the rear of each bottle. This is the complete set and comes along with a T-Shirt. 

Jade Mountain, Sun Moon Lake, Taroko Gorge and Ali Mountain are the wonders depicted. 

Jameson Limited Edition 15 Year Old

All Triple distilled pot still whiskey with no grain added, this was created as a special edition for the millennium.

Port Ellen 1982 Bladnoch Forum 24 Year Old

Distilled in October 1982 and bottled in November 2006. 

One of 644 bottles. 

Karuizawa Cask Strength 4th Release

This cask strength series of Karuizawa was exclusively released to the Taiwanese market, this is the fourth release.

The cask strength series is a combination of sherry casks from 1999 and 2000 all bottled at 61.7%

Port Ellen 27 Year Old Wilson and Morgan

Distilled in 1982 and bottled 2010 and was matured in Butt number 2347. 

Presented in a sturdy wooden box. 

Karuizawa 2000 SMWS 132.6 12 Year Old

Perhaps slightly more bizarre this whisky is otherwise known as 'Nite Nurse Nipped by Piranhas'.

Distilled on 31st December 2000 and bottled in 2013 this 12 year old Karuizawa was matured in a refill ex-sherry butt yielding 553 bottles.

Port Ellen 1979 28 Year Old 7th Release 20cl

The seventh of the incredibly popular Port Ellen annual releases.  Distilled in 1979 and bottled 28 years later in 2007, bottled at cask strength and limited to 5,274 bottles.

Port Charlotte PC5

Port Charlotte is a heavily peated spirit produced by Bruichladdich in rememberance and hope for a long list distillery at Port Charlotte on Islay, which closed in 1929. 

Matured in both bourbon and sherry cask this 5 year old spirit was limited to 6,038 bottles.
