Karuizawa 1971 36 Year Old Single Cask #6878

Karuizawa produced outstanding whiskies, many of which have received international acclaim.  This particular Karuizawa was distilled in 1971 and bottled on the 15th January 2008 was fortunate enough to be matured in sherry butt #6878. 

Only 430 bottles were released. 

Please note the box has various bends and creases.

From this incredibly popular lost Japanese distillery, which has produced so many internationally acclaimed malts.

Old Comber 30 Year Old 1980s 75cl

The Old Comber distillery was located in Comber, county Down in Northern Ireland.  Like the mjority of Ireland's distilleries, distilling ceased at Old Comber in 1952, which makes this an amazing piece of Irish Whiskey heritage.

This 30 year old bottle was bottled during the 1980s and represents the last bottlings ever released from this long lost distillery.

Bottled in 1992 it is very rare to see a Knockando of this age. An older expression from a excellent yet over looked Speyside classic.

Distilled in 1991 and bottled by the Queen of the Moorlands independent bottling company from the small wine shop in Leek, Staffordshire in July 2005.

Bottle number 2 of 36, which must make this one of the rarest independent bottled Springbanks!

Springbank 1997 Single Cask 16 Year Old

A new release from Springbank, distilled in June 1997 and bottled from a single cask #07/178-3.  Bottled as a 16 year old in October 2013.

Matured for 10 years in a refill bourbon barrel and a further 6 years in Madeira casks.

Only 630 bottles produced.

Kilchoman Single Cask Whisky Shop 

An exclusive single cask release from Islay's smallest distillery for The Whisky Shop. This expression was bottled from a first fill bourbon cask at natural cask strength of 61% ABV and is one of only 260 bottles.

Distilled onn 2nd October 2008 and bottled 4th May 2013 from cask number 484/2008.

Old Rhosdhu 1967 33 Year Old

An official bottling from Loch Lomond.  Loch Lomond produce quite an array of different spirits, Rhosdhu is apprently the fourth most heavily peated spirit.

Distilled in 1967 and bottled december 1996.

Kilchoman Inaugural 100% Islay

The inaugural bottling of Kilchoman's popular 100% Islay releases.

All parts of the production process for the 100% Islay were taken place at the distillery – from barley to bottle. The barley is grown, malted, distilled, matured and bottled at Kilchoman. Bottled at 50% abv and peated to a lower level to that of other releases.

Old Fettercairn 10 year Old (Old Style with Free Glass)

Bottled in the early 2000s, prior to the word 'old' being removed from the title of their whiskies, this 10 year old comes with a free branded glass.

Glass and bottle are in good condition.

Placing a Maximum Bid
Use the "Set your bid limit" button on the left side of the bidding panel to enter the highest amount you're willing to bid on a lot. Our system will then automatically raise your bid in set increments if you’re outbid, up to your maximum. If someone bids above your set limit, we’ll notify you by email so you can choose whether to increase your bid.

Placing a Single Bid
Alternatively, place a single bid by selecting the button on the right side of the bidding panel. The button displays the amount needed for the next increment. For example, if the current highest bid is £50.00, the button will show "+ £55.00" (reflecting a £5.00 increment).

When browsing the bidding history on a specific lot,  the list of recent bidders is shown as 'anonymised bidders' with the exception of any bids placed through your account - which would appear as your username.

When logged into your account your bids are shown with your username, however, other users are not able to see this and you will appear as an 'anonymised bidder'.

Customers across the world can choose to sell their rum with Whisky Auctioneer. Our Client Service team will support sellers by providing valuations for their bottles and advice on the best way to get their whisky to us for sale into our auctions.

The bottles will be checked-in, authenticated, photographed, and then listed into the next available auction, or an auction of your choice, by our expert team. Whisky Auctioneer hosts monthly auctions, where registered users from across the globe can bid on bottles via our website.  

After the auction closing date, the highest bidder will be notified by email. Payment is required within 72hrs. The buyer can then choose to ship, store, or collect the bottle(s). Buyer fees are applied during the online checkout process.  

The seller will receive payment within 21 working days of the end of the auction, directly to their chosen bank account. Seller fees will be applied to the seller’s invoice after the auction.
