Bowmore 1964 Black Bowmore 42 Year Old 

Arguably the most famous of all Bowmore's, one of the most collectible and most memorable whiskies on the market.  The Black Bowmore is an icon of whisky collecting, whisky drinking and whisky investing!

This is the first of the more recent releases from this famous Bowmore vintage, officially released in 2007 at 42 years of age in an impressive wooden presentation case.

The Black Bowmore was followed by the slightly older, Gold and White Bowmore's.

Please note there is a magnet missing from the door and there are Russian tax stickers. 

Springbank 50 Year Old

An incredible Springbank which we believe to be from the same iconic vintage as the Campbeltown 1919. Matured for 50 years and bottled in 1969.

Springbank is one of Scotland's many distilleries to be legitimately founded on the site of an illicit still. In 1837 the distillery was bought by the Mitchell family making this the longest family owned distillery in Scotland.  Springbank was one of the few distilleries to make it through the Campbeltown crash, caused by the prohibition and the great depression.Although the distillery was closed for seven years it managed to reopen. This has widely been attributed to the distillery focusing on quality not quantity. Now one of the last three distilleries in the region.

Never chill filtering or adding artificial colour, Springbanks continued passion for traditional whisky production is still evident. Springbank malt their own barley and bottle their own final product. The entire process is completed on one location (no other distillery can testify to that). This is a fantastic whisky from a fantastic distillery. 

There are no markings for volume or strength.

Bowmore 1964 Bourbon Cask 38 Year Old

Distilled on the 11th of November 1964, this hails from the era of epic Bowmores. 

Matured in a Bourbon cask for 38 years this bottle has been presented in a lockable wooden box.

Bottle number 173 of 300 Bottles.

Balvenie 1968 Vintage Cask

The vintage cask range of whiskies from Balvenie are a fantastic insight into single casks released from this popular Speysider.

Distilled in 21st May 1966 and bottled on 26th August 1998  this is a specially selected single cask Balvenie, from cask #6434.

Bottle number 32 of 270 bottles. 

Uniting Nations 40 Year Old The Essence of Karuizawa

Blended by Ichiro Akuto, this is a combination of a 40 year old Scottish malt and 45 year old Karuizawa. 

One of only 677 bottles. 

Brora 30 Year Old 2002 / 1st Release

This is a bottle of the original 30 year old Brora released within Diageo's Super Premium malts, back in 2002.  

Bottle number 1,195 of 3,000.

Springbank 12 Year Old 100 Proof Red Thistle

A rare bottling of over proof Springbank from the 1990s.

Produced with their iconic 'S' and red Thistle on the label.

Bunnahabhain 1965 Single Cask 35 Year Old

Distilled in November 1965 and then matured in a sherry cask this was then bottled in April 2001 for that year's Feis Ile. 

Widely considered as one of the finest Bunnahabhains ever. 

One of 594 bottles. 

Brora 35 Year Old 2013 Release 

Last years release of Brora,within Diageo's Super Premium selection, was a 35 year old limited to 2,944 bottles.

This is bottle number 1365.

Brora 35 Year Old 2012 Release

Another fantastic release from Diageo as part of their ongoing annual super premium releases.

Released in 2012 this was the oldest official bottled Brora at the time, only more recently beaten by the single cask 40 year old currently available at Travel Retail for no less than £6,995 which makes these bottlings seem a bargain!

Matured in ex-bourbon casks filled in 1976 and 1977, this 35 year old Brora is bottle number 1153 of 1,566

Brora 32 Year Old 2011 Release

The 2011 release of Brora by Diageo, was the first official bottling of Brora over the age of 30.

This is bottle number 1,461 of 1,500.

This 35 year old Bruichladdich was bottled to celebrate the 125th Anniversary of the distillery.

Presented in a lovely wooden box including a certificate of authenticity.

Bruichladdich 1967 Signatory Vintage Millennium Edition 32 Year Old

Distilled in January 1967 and bottled November 1999. 

Matured in single sherry cask number 160, then selected and bottled for the Millennium.

A bottle of the earlier St Magdalene bottled as part of the Rare Malt Selection, distilled in 1970 and bottled around 1993.

Balvenie 2005 DCS Compendium Chapter 1

This bottle forms part of the initial release of Balvenie's five-part DCS Compendium, which is a tribute to reknowned malt master David Stewart. It consists of a 2005 vintage, cask strength, 9 year old Balvenie matured in refill American Oak Hogshead.

Bunnahabhain 1963

A 1963 vintage Islay malt from Bunnahabhain bottled in 1997. 

Balvenie Tun 1401 Batch #9 (US Exclusive) 75cl

From the distillery website, this was inspired by and produced in one of the oldest warehouses at our distillery, Batch 9 is a skillful marriage of some of the rarest treasures from Warehouse 24. It represents an unrepeatable selection of spirits sourced from eleven traditional whisky casks and three sherry butts, whose ages span a number of decades, and which have all been hand-selected by David Stewart. The whisky rested for several months in Tun 1401 – one of the distillery’s unique marrying vessels – to create a single malt that is greater than the sum of its already precious parts.

This expression was exclusively available in the U.S. market, and follows the hugely successful Batch 3 and Batch 6.

Scapa 16 Year Old Jutland Memorial Edition / Single Cask

A very unusual single cask official offering from Scapa, released in 2016 to commemorate the Battle of Jutland, which occured in 1916.

A first fill American oak single cask was exclusively bottled to tribute the 249 ships that were involved in the Battle of Jutland.

This is bottle number 56 of 249.

Strathisla 1967 Duncan Taylor 41 Year Old

A 1967 vintage Strathisla from Duncan Taylor matured in single cask number 1892.

Distilled in March 1967, bottled August 2008.

St Magdalene 1979 Rare Malt 19 Year Old

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

A spectacular bottling of St Magdalene, released as part of Diageo's famous 'Rare Malt Selection'.  

Distilled in 1979 and bottled as a 19 year old at a healthy 63.80%, this is bottle number 3863.

Linlithgow / St Magdalene 1982 Signatory Vintage 22 Year Old

A rare Signatory bottling of Linlithgow, the 'other' name for St Magdalene distillery which was situated in the town of Linlithgow.

Distilled on 2nd June 1975 and bottled on 27th May 1998 from cask #96-3-01.

Distilled October 1982 and bottled October 2011 by Douglas Laing.

Brora 1982 Chieftain's 19 Year Old

A very rare bottling of this lost highland distillery by Ian Macelod, within their Cheiftain's range of whiskies.

Distilled  in June 1982 and bottled in December 2001 at 19 years of age.

Casks #1189 and 1192 yielded 1332 bottles in total.
